Inside Nayanthara's Journey: Netflix's 'Beyond the Fairy Tale' Unveils the Life of India's Lady Superstar
Tamil cinema's prominent actress Nayanthara has earned her place as the "Lady Superstar." Known across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, she has garnered a Pan-India fan base. Recently, news emerged that a documentary based on her life, titled Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, is in the works. Netflix recently released the trailer, where Nayanthara shared several interesting insights about her life and career.
Praise from Nagarjuna and Rana
Netflix’s documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, offers a glimpse into Nayanthara's personal and professional journey. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gautham Menon, it’s set to start streaming on November 18. The trailer released by Netflix features various actors sharing their admiration for Nayanthara. Nagarjuna mentioned the challenges she has faced in her life, while Rana acknowledged her title as "Lady Superstar." Kannada actor Upendra, Tamil actress Radhika, and director Atlee shared their memories and relationship with Nayanthara, adding warmth to the trailer.

An Emotional Lady Superstar
Nayanthara’s husband, director Vignesh, shared how their love story began. Nayanthara, too, spoke about critical phases of her life, saying she has often trusted people too quickly. She addressed past rumors, like the one claiming her last film would be Sri Rama Rajyam, and others that unfairly commented on her appearance. Recalling how these stories frightened her mother, Nayanthara was moved to tears. Nayanthara's mother also expressed her unwavering faith in her daughter.

Veiled Digs at Simbu and Prabhu Deva?
Before her marriage to Vignesh, Nayanthara was in relationships with Simbu and Prabhu Deva. Her romance with Simbu blossomed during Vallabha, as widely reported at the time. Later, she was romantically linked with the award-winning choreographer Prabhu Deva, and they were often seen together, sparking rumors about marriage. However, both relationships ended. During the shooting of Nenu Rowdy Ne, she met Vignesh, which led to love and, eventually, marriage. In the latest documentary trailer, Nayanthara’s comment about "trusting people too quickly" is widely believed by fans to hint at Simbu and Prabhu Deva. It remains to be seen if the full documentary will delve into these past relationships.
Nayanthara in Full Swing
Nayanthara’s film career is currently thriving. Last year, she entered the ₹1000 crore club with Jawan, starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The same year, she captivated audiences in the female-oriented film Annapoorani. Currently, she’s busy with five major projects, including Test, Mannangatti Since 1960, Thani Oruvan 2, and Mookuthi Amman 2 in Tamil, and Dear Students in Malayalam. All these projects are in production and are expected to release later this year and next. In 2022, she married director Vignesh in a family ceremony, and the couple now has two sons through surrogacy.

Telangana Bathukamma Songs: Famous Bathukamma Song Lyrics
Bathukamma festival is an integral part of the rural culture of Telangana. It's a celebration enthusiastically observed by every woman. Bathukamma songs hold a special place in these festivities. Our mothers and grandmothers sing these songs beautifully while playing the Bathukamma game. However, the younger generation does not have a strong grasp of these songs. They participate with the elders, but they cannot catch the tune or pronounce the words correctly. Many are curious to learn these songs, but it might not be feasible. Here are some popular Bathukamma songs from the villages of Telangana for you.

VD 12: Vijay Deverakonda Chilling in Sri Lanka, Viral Video of Him Steering a Boat!
Vijay Deverakonda is one of the popular young heroes in Tollywood who has made a name for himself without any film background. He became an overnight star with the movie ‘Arjun Reddy’. His subsequent successes with 'Pelli Choopulu', 'Taxiwaala', and 'Geetha Govindam' secured his place in the Telugu film industry. However, his recent movies 'Liger', 'Kushi', and 'Family Star' did not do well at the box office. Currently, there are high hopes for his ongoing project 'VD12'. Vijay is currently in Sri Lanka shooting for 'VD12' and is having a chill time there.
Vijay Chilling While Steering a Boat!
The movie 'VD 12', a Vijay Deverakonda-Gowtam Tinnanuri combo, is currently being shot at a brisk pace in Sri Lanka. Vijay is working hard for his role in this new look for the movie while also enjoying his downtime. Videos of Vijay enjoying a boat ride in the waters have gone viral online. He shared a video of a sunset boat ride on his Instagram account, which has been widely shared and celebrated by his fans for his boat driving skills.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Vijay Deverakonda (@thedeverakonda)
The Movie Will Be in Two Parts...
Producer Nagavanshi recently spoke about 'VD 12', mentioning that the movie will be released in two parts. "I am not taking any risks with Vijay Deverakonda’s film. The content justifies two parts, and based on the outcome of the first part, we will proceed with the second," he said, confident of a hit. This is the first time a Vijay Deverakonda film will be made in two parts, as all his previous films were single installments. If all goes as planned, fans might see sequels in Vijay's career too.
Competition with Pawan!
With the announcement of the release date of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' on Monday (September 23), a box office clash between Pawan and Vijay seems likely. 'VD 12' is set to release next year on March 28, the same day as 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. Fans of Vijay are gearing up for a big fight at the box office against a big star like Pawan. The producers close to Pawan, Sitara Entertainments, are producing 'VD 12', which might not push them to reschedule. Industry insiders speculate that it is unlikely for 'VD 12' to find a new release date given the circumstances.
Vijay’s Future Projects!
Currently, Vijay Deverakonda has a couple of exciting projects in hand besides 'VD 12'. Post 'Family Star', he is set to work on another project produced by Dil Raju and directed by Ravikiran Kola. Additionally, he is undertaking another project under the direction of Rahul Sankrityan, which is expected to be a period drama set in the Rayalaseema backdrop. Rashmika Mandanna is rumored to be cast opposite Vijay in this film.

Anirudh's Tollywood Takeover: A New Challenge for Thaman and Devi Sri?
Anirudh Ravichander is currently creating waves in the South Indian music scene. Originating from Kollywood, this music sensation has gained immense popularity through movies like 'Raghuvaram B.Tech', 'Vikram', 'Jailer', and 'Beast'. His presence guarantees significant hype for the movies. Particularly among the youth, Anirudh's songs and background scores resonate well. Recently, he also delivered a stunning soundtrack for the film 'Devara' starring Tarak, reinforcing the trust placed in him. Although Anirudh has primarily focused on Kollywood until now, it seems he is shifting his focus to Tollywood, sparking discussions about the challenges this poses to local music directors.
A Craze in Telugu Cinema!
The young music sensation Anirudh has a strong following in Telugu cinema as well. He has directly worked on Telugu films like 'Agnyaathavaasi', 'Jersey', 'Gang Leader', and 'UTurn'. While his music in these films was a hit, there wasn't much discussion about Anirudh in Tollywood. However, with recent films like 'Vikram', 'Jailer', and 'Jawan', his reputation has soared to a Pan-India level. The youth are particularly enamored with his background music. These films being dubbed in Telugu also meant that Anirudh’s music was thoroughly enjoyed by the Telugu audience, who listened to his songs on repeat. Due to the demand from NTR's fans, Anirudh was also brought into the 'Devara' project, as recently disclosed by the makers.
A Series of Offers in Tollywood!
Following the success of 'Devara', Anirudh's name is being increasingly heard in Tollywood. Telugu audiences are eager to experience his music in theaters once again. Noticing this interest, Telugu filmmakers are showing a keen desire to work with Anirudh. Observing the reception in Telugu cinema, Anirudh has decided to amp up his involvement in Tollywood projects. Reportedly, he has given the green light to 'VD12', a project in collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda and Gowtam Tinnanuri, and has also agreed to score music for an upcoming film by Nani and Srikanth Odela. Other directors are also reaching out to Anirudh for their movies, with talks suggesting he might take on up to half a dozen Telugu projects in the coming days.
A Challenge for Thaman and Devi Sri?
Music directors Thaman and Devi Sri Prasad have been the top choices in Tollywood for the past few years, typically scoring music for five to eight out of every ten releases. They have been the first two preferences for Telugu directors. However, analysts believe that with Anirudh’s entry, both face stiff competition. Until recently, Anirudh had not prioritized Tollywood, but now that he is focusing on Telugu films, it poses a significant challenge to them. It remains to be seen how Thaman and Devi Sri will fare against the wave of Anirudh's mania.
If These Click, Stopping Them is Tough!
Thaman is currently composing for a film Game Changer directed by Shankar starring Ram Charan. The songs 'Jaragandi Jaragandi' and 'Ra Macha Macha' have already been released to a positive response. Similarly, Thaman is also scoring for Pawan Kalyan's 'OG', and the song 'Hungry Cheetah' has thrilled Pawan's fans. Meanwhile, Thaman has been chosen as the music director for 'Akhanda 2', a sequel directed by Boyapati featuring Balakrishna. On the other hand, Devi Sri Prasad is handling the music for 'Pushpa 2'. The title song and 'Suseki Aggiravva Madiri' from 'Pushpa' have already amassed millions of views on YouTube. If these projects succeed, it could be tough for anyone to challenge Thaman and Devi Sri’s dominance in the industry.

Telugu Mind-Bender 'Rahasyam Idham Jagath' Takes on Hollywood! 🌀 Time Travel Meets Sri Chakra in This American-Shot Thriller
Cast: Rakesh Galebhe, Sravanthi Pattipati, Manasa Veena, Bhargav Gopinatham, Karthik Khandal, Aadi Naidu, Shiva Juturi, and others
Director: Komal R. Bharadwaj
Music: Gyani
Cinematography: Taylor Blumel
Editor: Chota K. Prasad
Producers: Hiranya, Padma, Komal R. Bharadwaj
Release Date: November 8, 2024
'Rahasyam Idham Jagath' stars Rakesh Galebhe, Sravanthi Pattipati, Manasa Veena, Bhargav Gopinatham, and others in key roles. Produced by Padma and Hiranya Ravinuthala under Single Cell Universe Production and directed by Komal R. Bharadwaj, the movie hit theaters today (November 8). Promoted as a film featuring elements of time travel and a multi-universe concept, let’s find out how this film fares.
What's the Story
The story takes place in America. Akira (Sravanthi) and her boyfriend Abhi (Rakesh) plan a trip to India. Before leaving, they decide to go on a trip with old friends (Vishwa, Kalyan, and Aru). They end up in a remote forest village where Akira’s ex, Vishwa, also joins them. Due to heavy snowfall, they are forced to stay the night in a local hotel. One of Akira’s friends, Aru, a scientist, is researching the concept of the multi-universe. A fight ensues, and Abhi ends up killing Akira and Kalyan. At this point, Aru reveals that there is a way to the multi-universe in the village. Desperate to bring his friends back to life, Abhi starts searching for a wormhole to the multi-universe. What happens next? Does Abhi find the wormhole? Can he save his friends? Do Abhi and Akira end up going to India? This is the story.
Performance
Rakesh, known for his hit short films, shines as the lead, particularly in his scenes traveling through the wormhole. Sravanthi impresses as Akira, while Aru fits well in the role of the scientist. Bhargav provides some laughs, and Karthik performs well in a negative role. The fact that the entire shoot took place in America, with training influenced by Hollywood, is evident in the actors' performances. The rest of the cast delivered well within their roles.
Direction
Director Komal R. Bharadwaj seems to have drawn inspiration from Hollywood films like Inception and Interstellar. However, he creatively connects these concepts with events from Indian mythology to resonate with the local audience. The way he links the multi-universe to the Sri Chakra and the wormhole is intriguing. The first half is mostly about the friends’ trip and conflicts, with the multi-universe element introduced right before the interval. In the second half, Abhi’s search for the wormhole and his time travel to save his friends are depicted. The interval scene and climax add strength to the film. However, the heavy use of American actors, the Hollywood-inspired scenes, and dialogues that lack a local touch are notable drawbacks.
Technical Aspects
Technically, the film stands out with its impressive visuals and cinematography, especially in the forest locations. However, the background music often overpowers the dialogues. The songs are decent, though dubbing could have been more refined. Production values are high, complementing the film’s theme well.

Mathu Vadalara 2 Movie Review: Comedy, Chaos, and Satya’s Hilarious Performance
Cast: Sri Simha, Satya, Faria Abdullah, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and others.
Writer and Director: Ritesh Rana
Music: Kaala Bhairava
Cinematographer: Suresh Sarangam
Editor: Karthika Srinivas
Producer: Chiranjeevi (Cherry)
Release Date: September 13, 2024
Sri Simha stars in 'Mathu Vadalara 2,' directed by Ritesh Rana. The film features key performances by Faria Abdullah, Satya, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and Sunil. The movie captured everyone's attention when actor Prabhas launched the trailer, which was full of laughs, heightening expectations. How did the film turn out? Did it impress the Telugu audience? Let's dive into this review to find out.
Plot
Babu (Sri Simha) and Yesu Babu (Satya) work as delivery boys struggling with financial issues. Their inadequate earnings lead them to become special agents. A small mistake in a case they handle gets them into trouble. What is this case about? What was their mistake? How did they get out of it? How does undercover agent Nidhi (Faria Abdullah) help them? To find out, you must watch the movie.
Performances
As the lead, Sri Simha delivers a solid performance, captivating in comedy and action sequences. However, Satya, present in every scene, steals the show, making him the true hero of the film. With his punchlines and comic timing, Satya excels, especially with his expressions that guarantee a laugh riot. His antics as the "Sexy Siren" in the film are particularly effective. Faria Abdullah also lands a substantial role that is memorable post her character in 'Chitti'. Vennela Kishore adds his unique flavor of comedy, while Sunil and Rohini do justice to their significant roles. Other actors also performed adequately.
Direction
Director Ritesh Rana crafts stories revolving around drugs, guns, and money. This time is no different, blending kidnapping drama with humor to entertain the audience. He successfully uses star references including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna, and Mahesh Babu to great effect. The characters of Sri Simha and Satya are particularly entertaining and well-developed. Every character appears fresh and funny on screen. The director keeps the first half a fun ride, though he struggles a bit in the second half where some scenes drag. The climax also feels predictable, a minor drawback.
Technically
On the technical front, Kaala Bhairava's background score is a major plus, elevating many scenes effectively. The cinematography is commendable, but the editing could have been tighter. The production values are high.
Plus Points
- Sri Simha and Satya’s performances
- Comedy
- Background music
Minus Points
- Some dragging scenes
- Predictable climax

Comedian Satya has significantly boosted his profile through this film as well. Heroine Faria Abdullah, struggling for a hit post 'Jathi Ratnalu', also received a commercial break with this sequel. Music director Kaala Bhairava’s name has been highlighted once again due to the film. After a flop with 'Happy Birthday' starring Lavanya Tripathi, director Ritesh Rana is set to record a blockbuster success with 'Mathu Vadalara 2'. This success has indeed given a substantial boost to the entire team.

Ramnagar Bunny Review: Chandrahass Delivers Attitude, But Does It Hit the Mark?
Cast: Chandrahass, Vismaya Sri, Richa Joshi, Ambika Vani, Ritu Mantra, Muralidhar Goud, and others.
Written and Directed by: Srinivas Mehta
Music by: Ashwin Hemant
Cinematography: Askar Ali
Editor: Marthand K. Venkatesh
Producers: Prabhakar, Malayaja Prabhakar
Release Date: 04-10-2024
Chandrahass, son of small-screen megastar Prabhakar, has become highly popular on social media as the Attitude Star. His latest film 'Ramnagar Bunny' has been much discussed on social media recently. Chandrahass's comments about refunding ticket money if the movie doesn't appeal went viral. Now, the film has hit the screens. So, how is it? Did the Attitude Star deliver a hit? Did he captivate as a hero? Let’s find out in this review.
Plot
Bunny (Chandrahass) from Ramnagar has a weakness for girls. He falls in love with every girl he sees, sequentially engaging in love tracks with three of them (Vismaya Sri, Richa Joshi, Ambika Vani). Facing unexpected circumstances, he even promises to marry an auntie and joins her company. However, Bunny realizes he doesn’t actually like the auntie. He discovers he truly loves Shailu (Vismaya Sri), but by then, her engagement with someone else is already fixed. What does Bunny do next? How does he win Shailu’s love? For that, you must head to the theaters.
Performances
Actor Chandrahass has brought the same attitude to the screen that made him popular, proving to be the film’s strength. Despite this being his first film, his acting is captivating. He performed confidently, excelling in dances and fight scenes, and also impressed in romantic scenes. Vismaya Sri as Shailu looked adorable, and the other three women involved with Bunny were adequate. Muralidhar Goud, playing Bunny's father, contributed well with his comedic timing. Other supporting actors were passable.
Direction
Director Srinivas Mehta crafted 'Ramnagar Bunny' in a way that appeals to the youth, seemingly writing the story just for Chandrahass. He combined a simple story with an excellent screenplay to deliver full-on entertainment. He successfully portrayed Chandrahass not as a superhero but as a regular young man wandering the streets, which really worked. The film maintains a light-hearted tone throughout, with comedy scenes, a few emotional scenes, four songs, and two fight sequences, making it a perfect commercial film. However, Chandrahass's inexperience shows in dragged scenes and emotional sequences, which can be seen as a minus.
Technically
On the technical front, three songs were quite good, and the background music was engaging. The cinematography was also well-done. However, drone shots of Hyderabad city and selfie visuals in one song didn't quite work out. The editing was okay, and the production values were good.
Plus Points
- Chandrahass's acting
- Commercial elements
- Music
Minus Points
- Dragged scenes
- Weak emotional scenes

Bahishkarana Series Review: Anjali's Riveting Portrayal in a Tale of Love and Revenge
Cast: Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Chaitanya Sagiraju, Ravindra Vijay, Shanmukh, Mahaboob Basha, Sri Tej, Baby Chaitra, Sammeta Gandhi, and others.
Directed by: Mukesh Prajapati
Cinematography: Prasanna S. Kumar
Music by: Siddharth Sadashivuni
Editing: Raviteja Girijala
Producer: Prashant Malishetti
OTT Platform: ZEE5
Release Date: July 19, 2024
Renowned actress Anjali stars as a prostitute in the series 'Bahishkarana,' a rural revenge action drama directed by Mukesh Prajapati. The series also features significant roles by Ravindra Vijay, Ananya Nagalla, Sri Tej, Shanmukh, Mahaboob Basha, and Chaitanya Sagiraju. Promotional materials have already heightened expectations for this series, which premiered on ZEE5 on July 19, consisting of six episodes. Let's delve into the review to see how this web series fares.
Plot
Set in the 1990s in Peddapalli, a village in Guntur district, the story centers around Shivayya (Ravindra Vijay), the authoritarian village president whose influence manipulates the lives of the villagers, especially women. Among them is Pushpa (Anjali), who lives under his control as his concubine. Darshi (Sri Tej), an employee of Shivayya, falls in love with Pushpa and they plan to marry. However, Shivayya, feigning agreement, strategically sabotages their plans and instead marries Darshi to his niece, Lakshmi (Ananya Nagalla). Amidst this chaos, Darshi finds himself wrongly embroiled in a legal case. The unfolding drama explores who framed Darshi, his confrontation with Shivayya, the repercussions he faces, and how Pushpa, with the aid of Lakshmi, seeks revenge against Shivayya. The series delves into these compelling dynamics.
Performances
Anjali is captivating in the role of a prostitute. With her dialogues and mannerisms, she mesmerized the audience. She beautifully portrays the variations of a woman forced into a life she dislikes and struggling for her lover's affection. Anjali also shines in action sequences, particularly impressing in the climax. Sri Tej as Darshi delivers a compelling performance, embodying a young man from the lower strata who cannot tolerate injustice. Ananya Nagalla as Lakshmi offers a natural performance, while Ravindra Vijay as the villainous Shivayya delivers a solid performance, appearing powerful through his dialogues and looks. The rest of the cast adequately fulfill their roles.
Direction
Director Mukesh Prajapati crafts this series as a period revenge action drama. He brings to life the struggle of a prostitute fighting against the injustices done to her lover. The series vividly portrays how caste discriminations dominated rural areas in the past, showing how the upper classes oppressed the lower castes and particularly women. The series touches on delicate issues like caste and untouchability, giving importance to drama and emotions. However, despite a promising concept, the presentation feels routine and the series progresses flatly without significant twists. While the backdrop of prostitution offers a fresh element, the rest of the storyline recalls plots from older films. Some disturbing scenes aside, 'Bahishkarana' consistently entertains.
Technically
On the technical front, cinematographer Prasanna S. Kumar does an excellent job. His camera work effectively transports the audience back to the 1990s. Siddharth Sadashivuni's background score is a significant plus, elevating the action sequences to a higher level. The production values are also notably high.
Plus Points
- Anjali's performance
- Periodic revenge drama
- Background music
Minus Points
- Lack of twists
- Some boring scenes

Cast: Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, K.S. Ravikumar, Harish Uthaman, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, among others.
Director: Shiva
Music: Devi Sri Prasad
Cinematography: Vetri Palaniswamy
Editing: Nishaad Yusuf
Producers: K.E. Gnanavel, Vamshi Pramod
Release Date: 14-11-2024
The Tamil actor Suriya stars in the most anticipated film 'Kanguva,' directed by Shiva. This film, also featuring Bollywood actress Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja and Vamshi Pramod with a massive budget of ₹350 crores. Released across India on November 14th, the film aims for box office collections of ₹1000 crores. Let's find out how the film fares and whether it has lived up to the audience's expectations and added another success to Suriya’s account.
Plot
Francis (Suriya) works as a bounty hunter in Goa, with his girlfriend Disha Patani and friend Yogi Babu assisting him. One day, a child approaches Francis feeling a mysterious connection to him, which he senses might be from a past life. What is this ancient connection with the child that dates back a thousand years? Who really is Kanguva? What battles did he fight as a fierce leader? What threats did his tribe face from the villain (Bobby Deol)? How did Kanguva save his tribe from the villain? To uncover these mysteries, one must watch the movie.
Performance Analysis
Tamil superstar Suriya has delivered a stellar performance in this film, impressing in both the roles of Francis and Kanguva. The effort he has put into the role of Kanguva is evident on screen, especially during the battle scenes, showcasing his formidable presence. His body language, dialogue delivery, and expression of emotions are all on point. Bobby Deol as the villain has delivered a powerful performance, matching Suriya's intensity. Disha Patani brings glamour to the film, and her chemistry with Francis’s character works well. Comedian Yogi Babu provides comic relief. Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, K.S. Ravikumar, and Harish Uthaman have significant roles and contribute well within their capacities.
Direction
Director Shiva has crafted 'Kanguva' with a novel storyline. The film starts slowly as it introduces Francis's character and takes time to develop. A small girl enters Francis's life, linking back to a past life, which interestingly steers the plot. From Kanguva’s entry, the true narrative begins. The director has engagingly depicted tribal life and conflicts from a thousand years ago. The twist at the interval raises expectations for the second half, which is filled with twists and action sequences that make the story even more gripping. The climax is sure to give everyone goosebumps. However, the slow-paced narrative and underdeveloped emotions, along with a somewhat weak villain character, might be seen as drawbacks.
Technically...
On the technical front, all departments have performed well, especially the VFX team, which has provided excellent output for the film. The cinematography is impressive. The music by Devi Sri Prasad is a major asset to the film, with both songs and background score enhancing the cinematic experience. The production values are high, and every scene is richly crafted.

BREAKING: Thaman Replaces DSP for Pushpa 2 BGM with Just 29 Days Left; Overseas Advance Bookings Break Records! 🔥
The upcoming film "Pushpa 2," starring Allu Arjun, is buzzing nationwide. Directed by Sukumar, the film is almost ready to hit theaters, with a grand release scheduled for December 5th. The shooting is nearly complete, except for two songs and one scene, raising concerns among fans about whether the film will release on the announced date. Amid these developments, an unexpected twist in the film's production has emerged: Thaman has been brought in to replace Devi Sri Prasad as the music director, which has been a hot topic of discussion.
Thaman Joins Pushpa 2 Team
It is well-known that star music director Devi Sri Prasad was scoring the music for "Pushpa 2" after his tracks for the first part created a nationwide sensation. Recently released songs from the film have already captured the youth's attention. However, rumors are now circulating online that Devi Sri Prasad has been set aside and Thaman has taken over the responsibility for the film's background music.
Dissatisfaction from Sukumar
Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad have had a strong rapport, with Devi providing music for all of Sukumar’s past films, which featured hit albums. Sukumar had entrusted Devi Sri Prasad with the music responsibilities for "Pushpa 2" as well, and while he was satisfied with the songs, he was reportedly not happy with the background music. With just 29 days left until the film's release, and Devi Sri having his hands full, Sukumar decided to bring in Thaman to handle the BGM. Discussions with Thaman have reportedly taken place, and he has already presented some background scores to Sukumar. An official announcement regarding this change is expected soon.
Why Thaman?
Music director S.S. Thaman is renowned not only for his compelling songs but also for his exceptional background scores. Recently, his BGMs have been making waves, with notable contributions to films like "Akhanda," "Veera Simha Reddy," "Vakeel Saab," "Bhagavanth Kesari," "Guntur Kaaram," "Bro," and "Skanda." Thaman, already having worked with Allu Arjun in blockbuster films such as "Sarrainodu" and "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo," knows exactly what kind of musical elevations suit Allu Arjun’s films to make theaters erupt. Hence, there is a strong belief among fans that if Thaman provides the background music for "Pushpa 2," it will be phenomenal.
Another Music Director in Consideration?
Alongside Thaman, another music director, Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work on films like "Kantara" and "Mangalavaaram," is also being considered for "Pushpa 2." Rumors suggest that Thaman might handle the first part and Ajaneesh the second, indicating that up to three directors might work on the film. However, industry insiders strongly believe that Thaman will be the sole provider of the background music, although clarity will only emerge with an official announcement.
A Rare Feat for Pushpa 2
"Pushpa 2" marks a significant achievement as Allu Arjun, previously known primarily to the Telugu audience, garnered a global fan base following the success of "Pushpa" (2021). With the film achieving pan-India and overseas success, "Pushpa 2" has generated substantial hype among international audiences. Pre-sale bookings have recently opened overseas, and the first 15,000 tickets sold out in record time—a first for an Indian film in America. The "Pushpa" team has released a special poster to announce this milestone.

Satya: Tollywood's Rising Star Comedian, The Next Brahmanandam?
Prominent comedian Satya is currently the talk of Tollywood. His recent performance in 'Mathu Vadalara 2' has been widely praised for being hilariously entertaining. There's a buzz suggesting that Satya is set to become a star comedian in Telugu cinema. Online posts are even predicting he might be the next Brahmanandam among this generation of comedians. Critics acknowledge the fruit of over a decade and a half of Satya's hard work, as he now seems poised to push other comedians to the side in the industry.
Satya's One-Man Show!
Audiences who watched the Friday release of 'Mathu Vadalara 2' are all praises for comedian Satya. Although the film features many artists, including the lead actor Sri Simha, everyone seems to be talking about Satya. Even if the script is considered weaker compared to 'Mattu Vadalara', and other attractions in the film did not stand out as much, Satya’s comedy alone worked wonderfully. From the first scene to the last, Satya made everyone laugh. Particularly, his dance in the song '16 Year Age' has received a tremendous response. Despite several downsides in the film, viewers feel that Satya’s comedy overshadowed them all. If he continues to deliver such performances, his place as a star comedian is assured.
15 Years of Struggle..
Though Satya has been in the industry for nearly a decade and a half, it took him many years to get a significant break. Following Sunil, Satya brings a similar style of comedy that instinctively makes people laugh. He has been progressing slowly over the past few years. Whenever he lands a good character, he turns into the highlight of the film with his outstanding comedy. In movies like 'Mathu Vadalara', 'Rangabali', 'Bedurulanka 2012', and 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi', he has delivered rib-tickling performances. Even in a lead role in 'Vivaha Bhojanambu', he made audiences laugh and cry. Despite being busier than ever, he hasn’t had a film that fully utilized his talent until now. 'Mathu Vadalara 2' seems to have filled that gap.
Directors’ Focus on Satya!
With each film, Satya’s career graph is on the rise, and Tollywood directors have taken notice. Information suggests that several star directors are planning to cast him in full-length characters in their films. With positive audience responses, filmmakers are considering creating separate comedy tracks just for him. Recently, in the Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar combo film 'Mr. Bachchan', Satya had a full-length role. Although his comedy was a highlight, the film’s flop status didn't bring him much recognition.
Tough Competition for Other Comedians!
Tollywood is home to many comedians like Ali, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, Getup Sreenu, Saptagiri, Chamak Chandra, Thagubothu Ramesh, and Dhanraj, who are all trying to rise to stardom. Even Sunil has returned to comedy and villain roles. However, critics predict that all these comedians will face stiff competition from Satya. His rising popularity might make him the first choice for directors, suggesting that other comedians must carve out their unique identities or risk diminishing opportunities in the industry.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Revenge? Cases Filed Against Celebrity Critics Amid Political Shakeup
After a decade into politics, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan achieved a significant victory in the 2024 Assembly elections. However, in the previous elections, representing the Jana Sena Party, he lost both constituencies he contested. The only MLA he managed to win later joined the ruling YSRCP government. This prompted fierce criticism from YSRCP leaders targeting Pawan. He also faced severe criticism from the Telugu film industry, especially from director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Posani Krishna Murali, who heavily targeted him. RGV even made a film trolling Pawan. With the coalition government (TDP-Jana Sena-BJP) in power in Andhra Pradesh and Pawan as the Deputy Chief Minister, it looks like some action may be taken on RGV and Posani, who were vocal critics.
Serial Cases Against RGV
On today's date (November 11), a case was filed against film director Ram Gopal Varma at Maddipadu Police Station in Prakasam District under the IT Act. He posted material during the promotion of the movie 'Vyuhm' that allegedly denigrated Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, Nara Brahmani, and Pawan Kalyan. The Telugu Desam Party's main secretary from Maddipadu Mandal lodged the complaint. Police registered the case and are conducting an investigation. Similarly, a case was also filed against RGV at Talluru Police Station in Guntur District for making indecent posts about Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh. The vice president of the TDP's Farmers Division, Nutalapati Ramarao, filed a complaint today urging action against Varma. Consequently, Tuluru police also registered a case against RGV, who may soon be investigated.
Imminent Arrest of Posani!
Actor Posani Krishna Murali, known for his successful multiple roles in films, joined YSRCP after its establishment and campaigned for Jagan during the 2019 elections. After Jagan became Chief Minister, Posani was even more vocal than YSRCP leaders in targeting Pawan and Chandrababu. He faced accusations of character assassination in several press meets. Posani previously lashed out calling Pawan a mental case and alleging that the Mega family only formed parties for financial gains. He fiercely criticized them, leading to multiple lawsuits filed by Jana Sena supporters and women's groups, which were ignored while YSRCP was in power. Now, with the coalition government in office and revisiting old cases against those who insulted TDP and Jana Sena leaders, there's talk in AP political circles that Posani might be arrested any moment.
Preparations for Sri Reddy's Arrest!
Actress Sri Reddy, known for her support of YSRCP, had previously criticized TDP and Jana Sena leaders in her unique style during the last government's tenure. There were instances when she even insulted Pawan Kalyan's mother. With AP police now focusing on those who have engaged in character assassination on social media, Sri Reddy is also likely to be taken into custody soon. Various cases registered against her in different regions are being reviewed by the police. Recently, the actress released a video apologizing and requesting forgiveness from Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Home Minister Anita, pledging not to post any offensive content about them or their family members anymore. The video has become quite trending lately.
Will Actions Be Taken Against Prakash Raj?
Recently, a controversy erupted between Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj over comments related to Tirumala laddus and Sanatan Dharma. While Pawan spoke about Sanatan Dharma, Prakash Raj posed several questions on the same platform without directly naming him, using the hashtag #JustAsking. Pawan largely ignored these comments. However, Jana Sena workers and Pawan's fans are highly agitated over Prakash Raj's unrelated criticisms and are demanding action against him on social media. Currently, the AP police are revisiting old cases, and since no cases have been registered against Prakash Raj in any station, it's speculated that he might not face immediate actions.
