This weekend, too, several interesting films and web series are debuting on OTT. What are they, where can you stream them, and what are their plots? Let’s dive in. Bagheera Starring Sri Murali and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles, Bagheera is directed by Dr. Suri. Released during Diwali on October 31 in multiple languages, the movie is now ready to entertain on OTT. It will be streaming on Netflix from November 21. The plot revolves around Vedant Prabhakar (Sri Murali), who dreams of becoming a superhero since childhood. Following his mother’s advice, he becomes a powerful police officer. Under his tenure, crime in Mangalore was completely controlled. However, what emotional turning point changes Vedant’s life? Why does this honest officer turn corrupt? Kishkindha Kaandam For those looking for a good psychological thriller this weekend, Kishkindha Kaandam is an excellent choice. Starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali, this Malayalam film was recently released to critical acclaim. It started streaming on Hotstar from November 19 and is also available in Telugu. The story revolves around Aparna (Aparna Balamurali) and Ajay (Asif Ali), a married couple. Ajay’s father, Appu Pillai, is a retired army major. Alien: Romulus For fans of Hollywood, an exciting sci-fi movie, Alien: Romulus, has made its way to OTT. Performance  Rakesh, known for his hit short films, shines as the lead, particularly in his scenes traveling through the wormhole. Sravanthi impresses as Akira, while Aru fits well in the role of the scientist. Bhargav provides some laughs, and Karthik performs well in a negative role. The fact that the entire shoot took place in America, with training influenced by Hollywood, is evident in the actors' performances. The rest of the cast delivered well within their roles. Direction Director Komal R. Bharadwaj seems to have drawn inspiration from Hollywood films like Inception and Interstellar. However, he creatively connects these concepts with events from Indian mythology to resonate with the local audience. The first half is mostly about the friends’ trip and conflicts, with the multi-universe element introduced right before the interval. Vismaya Sri as Shailu looked adorable, and the other three women involved with Bunny were adequate. Muralidhar Goud, playing Bunny's father, contributed well with his comedic timing. Other supporting actors were passable. Direction Director Srinivas Mehta crafted 'Ramnagar Bunny' in a way that appeals to the youth, seemingly writing the story just for Chandrahass. He combined a simple story with an excellent screenplay to deliver full-on entertainment. He successfully portrayed Chandrahass not as a superhero but as a regular young man wandering the streets, which really worked. However, Chandrahass's inexperience shows in dragged scenes and emotional sequences, which can be seen as a minus. Technically On the technical front, three songs were quite good, and the background music was engaging. The cinematography was also well-done. However, drone shots of Hyderabad city and selfie visuals in one song didn't quite work out. The editing was okay, and the production values were good.
