Surprising Choice: ‘Laapataa Ladies’ to Represent India at the 2025 Oscars, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Snubbed
The Oscars hold a prestigious spot among global film enthusiasts and is a coveted goal for actors and filmmakers worldwide. This year, many expected 'Kalki 2898 AD' to be nominated for Best International Feature Film from India due to its international standards. However, in a surprising turn, the Hindi film 'Laapataa Ladies' was chosen as India’s entry for the 2025 Oscars. It appears the 'Kalki' team is planning to follow the strategy used by last year’s 'RRR'. Was 'Kalki' Unjustly Overlooked? Directed by Kiran Rao, 'Laapataa Ladies' has officially been selected as India’s entry for the 2025 Oscars. The Film Federation of India's jury, led by Assamese filmmaker Jahnu Barua and comprising 12 members, chose this film over others including 'Kalki 2898 AD', 'Hanuman', and 'Mangalavaaram' from Tollywood. Despite 'Kalki’s' international success, its omission has surprised cinema lovers, with some commenting that it faced the same injustice as 'RRR' the previous year. 'Kalki' in the Path of 'RRR' Last year, 'RRR' did not secure a spot in the Best International Feature Film category, prompting director S.S. Rajamouli to submit it under general categories. It received nominations in 15 categories including Best Picture and Best Director, ultimately winning an Oscar for the song "Naatu Naatu" under Best Original Score. Now, the 'Kalki' team is considering a similar approach, hoping to be recognized in various general categories. If the Oscar committee considers and shortlists 'Kalki’s' nominations, it could officially compete. The 'Hanuman' team is also contemplating a general category submission. Why 'Laapataa Ladies' Was Chosen Jahnu Barua, chairman of the Film Federation of India, explained the decision for 'Laapataa Ladies', highlighting the film’s portrayal of Indian social structures and morality, presenting India in a significant light. After extensive deliberation over eight days, the jury selected 'Laapataa Ladies' from among 29 contenders. Director Kiran Rao expressed joy over the recognition of the hard work put into an impactful story, hoping for global admiration just as it was received in India. Here are the Competing Films from the South! Of the 29 films vying for an Oscar nomination, a notable number were from South India. From Tollywood, three films were in contention; from Kollywood, six managed to make the list, including 'Maharaja' featuring Vijay Sethupathi, 'Thangalaan' with Vikram, 'Kottukkaali' starring Soori, 'Jigarthanda Double X' by Lawrence - S.J. Suryah, 'Valai' directed by Mari Selvaraj, and 'Jam' directed and acted by Pari Elavazhagan. From the Malayalam industry, films like 'Attam', 'Aadujeevitham' (The Goat Life), 'All We Imagine as Light', and 'Ullujukku' made the list, totaling 13 South Indian films in the Oscar race. However, only 'Laapataa Ladies' has officially entered the Oscars from India, with further announcements about other films pending. What Makes 'Laapataa Ladies' Special? 'Laapataa Ladies' reaffirms the saying "the story is the hero of the film." It tells the tale of two brides from a rural area who accidentally switch places during a train journey. The film unfolds their lives post this incident and how they find their way back to their husbands. Structured as a comedy drama, the film engages the audience while raising questions about the recognition of women in society and critiques patriarchal systems. Directed by Kiran, 13 years after her debut with 'Dhobi Ghat', the film received mixed responses at the box office but was well-received on OTT platforms.

Vijay's 'The Goat' Nears ₹300 Crore Mark with Impressive Box Office Performance
Vijay's 'The Goat' Nears ₹300 Crore Mark with Impressive Box Office Performance
Tamil star hero Vijay stars in the latest action thriller "The Goat" (The Greatest Of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the heroine, with Sneha, Laila, Prashanth, and Prabhudeva playing key roles. The film, featuring de-aging technology, marks Vijay's last movie before his rumoured entry into politics, which has spiked expectations. However, it was released worldwide on Thursday, September 5. In Telugu-speaking regions, the film received mixed reviews, whereas in Tamil Nadu, it particularly captivated Vijay's fanbase and garnered a hit talk. On its first day, the movie grossed over Rs. 120 crore. Now, let’s see how the weekend collections shaped up. How Much Did The Weekend Collections Amount To? Vijay’s "The Goat" (The Greatest Of All Time) lived up to expectations at the box office, grossing Rs. 282.5 crore worldwide in the first four days, narrowly missing the Rs. 300 crore club. However, it set a record as the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year. Dhanush's recent film 'Raayan' crossed lifetime gross earnings of Rs. 154 crore within the first two days and set this feat. Notably, 'The Goat' grossed Rs. 106.40 crore in Tamil Nadu alone. In the two Telugu-speaking states, it collected Rs. 10.10 crore, Rs. 21.1 crore in Karnataka, Rs. 10.4 crore in Kerala, and Rs. 13.9 crore in the rest of India. Overseas, the film fetched around Rs. 120.15 crore according to trade estimates. Currently, the film is surging towards the Rs. 300 crore club. What’s The Film Like? Director Venkat Prabhu’s storyline doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Movies featuring a hero working in defense and the villain raising the hero’s son only to turn him against his father have been quite common. However, the scenes written about the son’s revenge seem interesting. The first half is mostly spent introducing the hero and other characters, with the story unfolding predictably until the pre-interval. The interval scene sets up an intriguing second half. Though the second half also largely unfolds as expected, the director successfully crafted an engaging climax. The twists in the second half will surprise the audience. The film’s comedy and dialogues are deeply infused with Tamil elements, which might not appeal as much to the Telugu audience. However, for Vijay's fans, this film is sure to be a treat. What's the Story? Gandhi (Vijay), a special anti-terrorism squad officer, conducts various successful missions with his teammates Sunil (Prashant), Ajay (Ajmal), and Kalyan Sundaram (Prabhu Deva). However, he keeps his job a secret from his wife Anu (Sneha). During one mission abroad, his five-year-old son dies. Believing her husband to be responsible, Anu distances herself from Gandhi. Distraught, Gandhi leaves the force. Years later, on a trip to Moscow, he encounters his son Jeevan (Vijay), whom he thought was dead, alive. Overjoyed, he brings him back to India. From then on, Gandhi’s acquaintances start dying one by one. Who is responsible for these deaths? How did his presumed-dead son come back? How does Gandhi stop the killings? These questions form the crux of the story.

Who is Ravi, and how is he connected to the goat's predicament? Venkat Prabhu Faces Backlash Over Telugu Audience Criticism After 'The Goat' Underperforms
Venkat Prabhu Faces Backlash Over Telugu Audience Criticism After 'The Goat' Underperforms
The latest film starring Kollywood star hero Vijay, titled 'The Goat' (The Greatest Of All Time), released on September 5 and has been a massive hit in Tamil Nadu, even crossing the Rs. 300 crore mark with impressive overseas collections. However, the film seems to be facing strong resistance in the Telugu and Hindi markets. In this context, the film's director Venkat Prabhu responded, sparking a heated debate on social media. 'That's Why They Didn't Like It' In Telugu and Hindi, 'The Goat' (The Greatest Of All Time) did not meet the expected levels of success. Mythri Movie Makers, a prominent production company, purchased the film for Rs. 22 crores in Telugu, but so far, it has only grossed Rs. 10 crores. Current circumstances suggest that even breaking even may be difficult. Against this backdrop, director Venkat Prabhu took to social media to express his views. He suggested that scenes related to Chennai Super Kings and MS Dhoni, which were highlights, did not resonate well with Telugu and Hindi audiences, which might be why the film underperformed in these regions. He also accused fans of the IPL teams from Mumbai and Bangalore of excessively trolling his film, attributing this to his known fandom of Chennai Super Kings. Venkat Prabhu's comments have become a hot topic on social media. https://twitter.com/TheAakashavaani/status/1833133203697131918 Telugu Audience Fires Back..! Telugu audiences are strongly criticizing Venkat Prabhu's recent comments. They are posting online that there are other reasons for 'The Goat's disaster performance in Telugu. Comments suggest that if the content is good, they support films irrespective of the industry. They remind the director of the massive success his previous film 'Maanaadu' had in Telugu, indicating that MS Dhoni also has a huge fanbase in the Telugu states, with stadiums filling up in yellow jerseys whenever a CSK match is played in Hyderabad. They are requesting that the actual reasons for 'The Goat's failure be investigated. Reasons for the Flop in Telugu Are These! Director Venkat Prabhu made 'The Goat' with a routine story where Vijay played dual roles as father and son. Despite the terrorism backdrop, it lacked the twists typically seen in agent films. There were no twists or turns in the story, and even the operations conducted by the hero lacked thrill. Additionally, unnecessary songs and Yogi Babu's comedy track tested the patience of the Telugu audience. However, the action sequences and the IPL track in the climax managed to generate some excitement. Dhoni Said No! 'The Goat' featured many cameo roles. Sivakarthikeyan and Trisha appeared as guests, and India's former cricket captain MS Dhoni was also shown during the climax using IPL visuals. Director Venkat Prabhu originally intended to have a scene with Dhoni in the film, but since Dhoni did not agree, they had to resort to using IPL visuals. The 20-minute climax episode captivated cricket lovers immensely. Furious Over Negative Reviews Director Venkat Prabhu responded to the negative reviews of 'The Goat.' "People don't talk about the effort we put into making the film. Some intentionally post negative comments. We included references in the film not found in any other movie, all to celebrate every hero fan. The film wasn't made just for the guest appearances but was crafted to include everything audiences desire. We made this film for the audience, not the reviewers," he stated.

Vijay's 'The Goat' Makes a Strong Impact with First-Day Collections Despite Mixed Reviews
Vijay's 'The Goat' Makes a Strong Impact with First-Day Collections Despite Mixed Reviews
Tamil superstar Vijay stars in the latest action thriller 'The Goat' (The Greatest Of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the leading lady, while Sneha, Laila, Prashanth, and Prabhu Deva have significant roles. This film, developed with de-aging technology, has garnered high expectations as it is rumored to be Vijay's final movie before his political entry. It was released worldwide on Thursday (September 5) and received mixed reactions in the Telugu states, but it was a hit among Vijay's fans in Tamil Nadu. Let’s see how the movie performed on its first day. Day 1 Collections Matching the high expectations, 'The Goat' (The Greatest Of All Time) raked in impressive collections on its first day. In India alone, the film is estimated to have grossed over ₹55 crores, with a net collection of ₹43 crores. Tamil Nadu alone contributed a gross of ₹38.3 crores. The Telugu states accounted for ₹3 crores and Hindi markets brought in ₹1.7 crores in gross collections. The worldwide gross is expected to surpass ₹80 crores on the first day. However, according to trade estimates, 'The Goat' could not surpass the record set by Vijay’s previous film 'Leo', which collected ₹148.5 crores on its first day. What's 'The Goat' Like? Director Venkat Prabhu’s story does not present much novelty. Movies featuring a hero working in defense sectors and villains raising the hero’s son only to use him against the hero have been seen before. However, the scenes depicting the son’s revenge feel intriguing. The first half mainly introduces the hero and other characters, progressing predictably until the pre-interval. The interval scene raises interest for the second half, which largely unfolds as expected, but the climax is crafted to captivate. The twists in the second half are sure to surprise the audience. The Tamil essence in comedy and dialogues might not appeal much to the Telugu audience, but Vijay's fans will likely find the film immensely engaging. The Plot Gandhi (Vijay), a special anti-terrorism squad officer, conducts various successful missions with his teammates Sunil (Prashant), Ajay (Ajmal), and Kalyan Sundaram (Prabhu Deva). These questions form the crux of the story. https://telugu.yousay.tv/en/vijays-the-goat-a-predictable-action-drama-with-strong-performances-and-high-expectations.html

Vijay's 'The GOAT': A Predictable Action Drama with Strong Performances and High Expectations
Vijay's 'The GOAT': A Predictable Action Drama with Strong Performances and High Expectations
Cast: Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashant Thyagarajan, Kokila Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, VTV Ganesh, Aravind Akash, Vaibhav Reddy, and others. Story and Direction: Venkat Prabhu Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja Cinematography: Siddharth Nuni Editing: Venkat Rajan Producers: Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, Kalpathi S. Suresh Tamil star hero Vijay stars in the latest action thriller 'The GOAT' (The Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, with important roles played by Sneha, Laila, Prashant, and Prabhu Deva. This film is notable for its use of de-aging technology. With rumors circulating that this might be Vijay's last film before entering politics, expectations for the film were quite high. How did the film turn out? How much did it captivate the audience? Did it provide another unforgettable success for Vijay or not? Let’s find out in this review. Plot Gandhi (Vijay), a special anti-terrorism squad officer, conducts various successful missions with his teammates Sunil (Prashant), Ajay (Ajmal), and Kalyan Sundaram (Prabhu Deva). Performances Vijay delivers a dual role, excelling as Gandhi but the young Vijay’s digitally aged look as Jeevan might feel a bit off, not entirely convincing. Vijay shines again in action sequences and emotional scenes, proving his star quality. Meenakshi Chaudhary as the heroine doesn’t have much of a role, feeling more like a guest appearance. Prashant, Ajmal, and Prabhu Deva as squad members are adequate but not outstanding. Jayaram, as the head of the squad, captivates with his performance. Sneha impresses with her acting as Gandhi’s wife. Tamil youth hero Shiva Karthikeyan makes a mark in a cameo, and Trisha excites in a special song appearance. The rest of the cast performs adequately within their roles. Direction Director Venkat Prabhu’s storyline lacks novelty. The narrative of a hero working in defense and the villain raising his son to turn against him has been seen many times before. However, the scenes detailing the son’s revenge feel engaging. The first half is mostly spent introducing the characters, and the plot progresses as expected until the pre-interval. The interval scene raises curiosity for the second half, which, although predictable, includes some twists that surprise the audience. The comedy and dialogues are deeply rooted in Tamil culture, which might not entirely appeal to the Telugu audience. However, Vijay’s fans will likely find the film quite entertaining. Technically On the technical front, the songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja are forgettable, not leaving a lasting impact. However, the background music enhances the action sequences, elevating them to another level. The graphic department could have done better, especially with Vijay’s de-aging look. Editing is competent. The production values are high, showing no compromise in terms of budget. Plus Points - Vijay’s performance - Action sequences - Climax Minus Points - Predictable plot - Slow first half Telugu.yousay.tv Rating : 2.5/5

Gorre Puranam Review: A Quirky Tale Where the Goat Steals the Show!
Gorre Puranam Review: A Quirky Tale Where the Goat Steals the Show!
Cast: Suhas, Vishika Kot, Posani Krishna Murali, Raghu Karumanchi, and others Director: Bobby Varma Music: Pavan CH Cinematographer: Suresh Sarangam Editor: Vamsi Krishna Ravi Producer: Prashanth Mandava Release Date: 21-09-2024 Tollywood's young actor Suhas has become synonymous with diverse films. Continuing his trend of intriguing Telugu audiences with unique storylines, Suhas stars in another innovative film, 'Gorre Puranam' directed by Bobby Varma. Notably, director Tharun Bhascker provides the voiceover for the goat. Released on September 21, how does this film fare? Did it captivate the audience or not? Let's find out in this review. What's the Story? Ravi (Suhas) ends up in jail for committing a murder. Meanwhile, a Muslim man buys a goat to make biryani for his family, but it escapes. In an attempt to catch the goat, the Muslim man and several others chase after it. The goat takes refuge in a village temple where it accidentally gets drunk and is captured by Hindus who want to sacrifice it. This incident catches the media's eye, escalating religious tensions, leading to the police arresting the goat. It is kept in the same cell as Ravi. Why did Ravi commit murder? What is the connection between Ravi’s crime and the goat? Who tried to kill the goat in jail? To find out, one must watch the movie. How Did They Perform? Suhas's role is brief in the film, but he captivates with his natural acting prowess. The goat appears on screen longer than the human actors, with Tharun Bhascker’s voiceover adding a comedic touch. Comedian Getup Sreenu also provides a voice for the goat. Other actors like comedian Raghu and Jenny, though in brief roles, significantly impact the story. How's the Direction? Director Bobby Varma’s effort to cast a goat as a principal character is commendable. He cleverly narrates where the goat’s story began, what it desires, and its purpose, while infusing the film with sharp satire targeting people, politicians, and the media. While entertaining, the director also makes the audience think. The development of Suhas’s character is well executed. However, the director falters in connecting why he committed murder and planned further killings. The lack of commercial elements and ineffective emotional scenes are drawbacks of the film. Technically Speaking Technically, the cinematography is a significant plus. The background score suits the film well, and the editing is adequate. The production values are high, showing no compromise in spending. Plus Points - Suhas’s acting - Story and narration - Dialogues Minus Points - Lack of commercial elements - Ineffective emotional scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

The Boy Who Wore 'Johnny' Headband for 7 Days Now Directs His Icon Pawan Kalyan: Sujeeth's Story
The Boy Who Wore 'Johnny' Headband for 7 Days Now Directs His Icon Pawan Kalyan: Sujeeth's Story
Young director Sujeeth (HBD Sujeeth) has carved a unique niche for himself in Tollywood. Although he has directed only two films so far, he has garnered a craze that many directors achieve only after many more films. Starting with 'Run Raja Run' as a director, Sujeeth caught everyone's attention at the pan-India level with 'Saaho'. Currently, he is directing 'OG' with Pawan Kalyan, capturing the mega fans' focus. Today, this talented director steps into his 34th year. Let's take a look at some secrets of his career. Making Short Films at 17 Sujeeth Reddy was born in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, on October 26, 1990. Initially dreaming of becoming a Chartered Accountant, his growing interest in films led him to enroll in the L.V. Prasad Film & TV Academy. He started making short films on YouTube at the age of 17 and has directed over 30 short films to date. Creativity in Short Films Typically, YouTube short films are made on a low budget and are not expected to meet high standards. However, Sujeeth's films like 'Run Raja Run', 'Prema Ishq Kaadhal', 'Thokkalo Love Story', 'Vesham', 'Yuddham', 'Prema Care of Drama', and 'Indian Idol' surprised the film industry with their richness and showcased his mesmerizing creativity. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sujeeth (@sujeethsign) Initial Family Resistance When Sujeeth expressed his desire to become a director, his family was initially reluctant. However, seeing his dedication to cinema, they eventually supported his decision. His mother even bought him his first camera with her own money, marking the beginning of his journey in the industry. Guidance from Puri Jagannadh Upon entering the industry with the aim to direct, Sujeeth initially decided to work as an assistant director under Puri Jagannadh. Meeting him, Puri recognized Sujeeth's abundant directorial skills and encouraged him to pursue directing. Director at 23 While trying for a directorial break, UV Creations recognized Sujeeth's talent and offered him a chance to direct 'Run Raja Run'. Thus, at just 23, Sujeeth became a director and achieved solid success with his debut film. Turning a Short Film into a Feature Interestingly, 'Run Raja Run', which brought him significant recognition, was originally a short film that Sujeeth transformed into his first full-length feature by making a few changes to the story. Before 'Baahubali' UV Creations, which produced Prabhas's 'Mirchi', planned a second film with him and accepted a story from Sujeeth, which Prabhas liked. However, 'Baahubali' has not been released yet. After 'Baahubali', Prabhas's fame skyrocketed, leading Sujeeth to make adjustments to the story, and thus 'Saaho' was made on a pan-India scale. Despite not achieving expected success, Sujeeth's work at such a young age surprised everyone. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sujeeth (@sujeethsign) From Fan to Directing Pawan Kalyan Sujeeth has been a fervent fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan, mentioning in interviews that he went to see 'Johnny' with a band around his head and kept it for seven days. He also attended 'Gabbar Singh' release as a rally. Rising from that stage to directing Pawan Kalyan in 'OG' is no small feat. Love for Japanese Cinema Director Sujeeth has a special affinity for Japanese cinema, which he openly discussed in interviews. He mentioned that Japanese films also influenced 'OG', the film he is currently directing with Pawan Kalyan. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sujeeth (@sujeethsign) Traveling with Friends Whenever Sujeeth gets time, he loves to travel with his friends around the world, sharing pictures from their trips on his Instagram. 'The More Foolish You Act, The More Awards You Get': Jagapathi Babu Stirs Controversy After Winning IIFA Best Villain Award for 'Kaatera
'The More Foolish You Act, The More Awards You Get': Jagapathi Babu Stirs Controversy After Winning IIFA Best Villain Award for 'Kaatera
Jagapathi Babu, a renowned actor known for his family hero roles in Tollywood, has made a successful transition from lead roles to villainous characters. He has garnered a significant following in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema through his performances in negative roles. Recently, he received the IIFA Award for Best Villain for a Kannada movie, sparking a heated discussion in the Indian film industry. His remarks were unexpected coming from a seasoned actor like him, causing quite a stir among netizens. "Awards Only for the Foolish?" In the Kannada film 'Kaatera,' where actor Darshan played the lead, Jagapathi Babu portrayed a villain. His exceptional performance in this negative role won critical acclaim, and the film achieved blockbuster success in Kannada. During the recent IIFA Awards-2024 event in Dubai, Jagapathi Babu was honored with the Best Villain award. Responding to this, he shared a video with the caption, "The more foolishly you act, the more awards you get," which has sparked controversy among netizens. Some suggest that if he dislikes receiving awards, he should return them. https://twitter.com/IamJagguBhai/status/1848652810327666783 What Promoted Jagapathi Babu's Remarks? It's well-known that Jagapathi Babu started his career as a hero and was particularly famous among family audiences for his roles in family dramas. Despite his success, he did not receive awards to the extent he expected. However, since switching to character roles and villains, awards have started coming his way, particularly for his performances as a villain. Films like 'Legend,' 'Nannaku Prematho,' 'Aravinda Sametha,' and 'Manyam Puli' (Telugu dub), and recently 'Kaatera' have brought him numerous accolades, including Nandi, Filmfare, SIIMA, and IIFA awards. His comment might have been influenced by the irony of receiving more awards for negative roles than positive ones. A Turning Point with 'Legend' Competing against stalwarts like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna, Jagapathi Babu has had many hits. However, as the opportunities for lead roles declined, he shifted to character roles, impressing in roles like big brother and police officer, but still not achieving the recognition he desired. It was during this lull that he received an offer from director Boyapati to play a villain opposite Balakrishna in 'Legend,' which turned his career around. His powerful portrayal of a formidable antagonist won everyone over, and since then, he hasn't looked back. Future Projects Jagapathi Babu is busy with pan-India projects such as 'Pushpa 2,' directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun. His role is rumored to be a negative one, although details haven't been officially confirmed. He is also involved in the Tamil film 'Kanguva,' starring Surya, which is set to release worldwide on November 14. With these projects, Jagapathi Babu is expected to gain national prominence once again.

The Future of Telugu Cinema: Directors Who Could Rival S.S.Rajamouli's Success
The Future of Telugu Cinema: Directors Who Could Rival S.S.Rajamouli's Success
Among India's esteemed directors, S.S. Rajamouli is distinguished by his unbroken streak of success. With films like 'RRR,' he has propelled Telugu cinema to international prominence and is currently poised to penetrate the global market with 'SSMB29,' starring Mahesh Babu. However, there are ongoing discussions among North Indian audiences about whether any Telugu directors can match Rajamouli's achievements. In response, we are giving several dynamic directors making their mark who can impact the Indian box office in a manner akin to Rajamouli. Who are these directors? Let's explore. [toc] Nag Ashwin Currently, one of the most talked-about directors in Tollywood is Nag Ashwin. His upcoming film 'Kalki 2898 AD' featuring Prabhas is creating buzz at a global level. This science fiction movie, inspired by Indian mythology, is set to release worldwide on June 27. Film analysts believe that if this movie succeeds, there will be no turning back for Nag Ashwin's career. This film has the potential to elevate Tollywood to a new level and could bring immense fame to Nag Ashwin. His vision, execution, and unique promotions remind one of Rajamouli’s style. Director Rajamouli consistently sets the standard in incorporating technology into cinema, known for world-class graphics, inventive weaponry, distinctive costumes, and extraordinary hero portrayals. Director Nag Ashwin, in a similar vein, channels Rajamouli’s innovative spirit by leveraging cutting-edge technology for 'Kalki'. The film features a specially designed vehicle named 'Bujji', used by Prabhas for his on-screen adventures. On Wednesday (May 22), a special preview of 'Bujji' was released, rapidly gaining popularity on YouTube. https://twitter.com/i/status/1793606030703927405 The 'Bujji' special vehicle was developed in collaboration with Mahindra company, costing around 7 crores. Normally, it takes five to ten years to develop a new vehicle, but director Nag Ashwin has integrated the Mahindra team into the film to direct them according to his vision. He stated in the 'Bujji' glimpse release event that this vehicle plays an important role in the movie. He thanked the Mahindra team for their cooperation in creating the vehicle. https://twitter.com/i/status/1793303611583418579 Sukumar Before "Pushpa: The Rise," Sukumar was primarily recognized within Tollywood, but the film's success catapulted him to a pan-India directorial status. His direction in "Pushpa" left a strong impression, especially his transformation of the stylish Allu Arjun into a rugged character with untidy hair and a beard, perfectly matching the role's demands. Unlike Rajamouli, who is known for emphasizing the interval and climax scenes with intense action, Sukumar adopted a unique approach in "Pushpa." He designed these key scenes without violence, thereby intensifying anticipation for the second half. In the climax, Pushpa's confrontation with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) set the stage intriguingly for the upcoming sequel. Everyone is waiting eagerly for the sequel 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', set to release on August 15. The makers have already started promotions.
