Plot

Performances



Hero Raj Tarun has fully immersed himself in the role of Giri. Initially portrayed as an innocent, he later transforms into a lover who fights for his beloved against all odds, showing great variation in two dimensions. Particularly in action sequences, Raj excels, showcasing an intensity never seen before in his career. Malvi Malhotra perfectly embodies Shailaja, making a strong impression in her Telugu film debut. The on-screen chemistry between Raj Tarun and Malvi Malhotra works very well. Second heroine Mannara Chopra also delivers an outstanding performance. John Vijay, Raghubabu, Ankita Thakur, Pragathi, and Raja Raveendra do their roles effectively.







Direction



Director A.S. Ravi Kumar has crafted this film as a love and action entertainer. The first half smoothly progresses with the introduction of the hero and heroine and their love track, entertaining with comedy arising from Shailaja dominating Giri. Their chemistry ensures that the first half never drags. A twist at the interval heightens interest for the second half, which is filled with hero elevations and action sequences, keeping the audience engaged. However, some scenes might feel boring, and certain fight scenes seem over-the-top for Raj Tarun's persona, lacking logical connection. Emotional scenes also did not resonate as well. Those looking for a solid action entertainer will enjoy "Thiragabadara Saami."







Technically...



On the technical front, the background music provided by JB is a significant asset, elevating the action sequences to another level. However, the songs are not particularly memorable. The cinematography is also commendable, and the editing is adequate. The production values are high.

Actor Raj Tarun addressed the accusations made by his ex-girlfriend Lavanya in an interview with a media channel. He explained, "I met her while I was involved in making short films. She was kind and offered me help when I first moved to Hyderabad. We were indeed in a relationship from 2014 to 2017, but after that, we ended our relationship. I had issues with her circle of friends and her drug use. She threatened to take her story to the media if I broke up with her, so I continued to support her to protect my reputation. After a long break, Allu Sirish is making a comeback with the film Buddy. Produced under the banner of Studio Green Films by Gyanavel Raja, the promotional material already released has sparked interest. The film is set to release worldwide in theaters on August 2.







Shivam Bhaje



Starring Ashwin Babu, the brother of anchor Ohmkar, and Digangana Suryavanshi, "Shivam Bhaje" is directed by Afsar. The film presents a unique story and narrative, with Arbaaz Khan playing a significant role. Having completed its shooting, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on August 1. Usha Parinayam



Introducing Vijay Bhaskar’s son Sree Kamal as the lead, Usha Parinayam is directed by Vijay Bhaskar himself. Tanvi Akanksha stars as the heroine. With a unique love story and emotional elements, this film is set to release in theaters on August 2.







Tiragabadara Saami



With a youthful entertaining storyline, Raj Tarun is coming to entertain the audience, starring alongside Malvi Malhotra and Mannara Chopra. Important roles are played by Makarand Deshpande and Raghubabu. This film is also set for release on August 2. The movie team claims it will attract young viewers with romantic elements as well as family audiences with its sentimental content. Thrilling audiences in August, this horror thriller will enter OTT this week. Streaming in Telugu and Tamil on Zee5 from September 27, it is a sequel to the 2015 hit ‘Demonte Colony’. The plot follows Debbie (Priya Bhavani Shankar) whose husband Shyam dies suspiciously, seemingly due to reading a book. Prathinidhi 2



A political drama starring Nara Rohit, ‘Prathinidhi 2’ is the sequel to his earlier film ‘Prathinidhi’, directed by Murthy Devapthapu. Released in theaters in May, this movie is ready to entertain on OTT platforms. Streaming on Aha from this month's 27th, the plot revolves around Chetan (Nara Rohit), an honest journalist and CEO of NCC channel, who exposes political leaders' corruption. 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu



Starring the prominent actress Niveda Thomas, ‘35 Chinna Katha Kaadu’ is a latest film crafted as an emotional comedy drama by director Nandakishore Imani. Featuring Priyadarshi, Viswadev Rachakonda, and Gauthami in key roles, this movie was released in theaters on September 6 and has received positive feedback. It is set to charm you this weekend on OTT. Streaming on Aha from September 27, the plot centers on Prasad (Viswadev), Saraswati (Niveda Thomas), a middle-class couple. Released on August 15, this film was a hit in Bollywood. Produced on a budget of just Rs. 50 crores, it has collected over Rs. 700 crores, creating a record. The plot is set in Chanderi village, where just as everyone breathes a sigh of relief thinking the 'Stree' problem has been resolved, a new problem begins with 'Sarkat'. How did Vicky (Rajkumar Rao), Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi), Jaana (Abhishek Banerjee), and Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana) face a ghost (Shraddha Kapoor)?







Deadpool &amp; Wolverine



Recently released and achieving blockbuster success, ‘Deadpool &amp; Wolverine’ is ready to come to OTT. Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 1, this film stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as the titular characters. The plot follows Deadpool, alias Wade Wilson, who works as a car salesman and leads a normal life. One day, he is abducted by paradox enforcers from the Time Variance Authority and taken to Earth 616. There, Deadpool needs Wolverine’s help. What is Earth 616? Why was Deadpool taken there? Vaazha - Biopic of a Billion Boys



Recently released in Malayalam and shaking the box office, the film 'Vaazha' is tagged as a biopic of a billion boys. Released on August 15, it achieved good success in Malayalam. It has come to OTT this week. Streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from September 23, the story involves five friends who live aimlessly without any goals in life. Munjya



A recent Bollywood blockbuster, ‘Munjya’, stars Sharvari Wagh and Ajay Verma in the lead roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films universe and directed by Aditya Sarpothdar, this film has performed well at the box office. Recently made available for streaming in Hindi, it has now come to Telugu and Tamil versions. You can watch this film on Disney Plus Hotstar. The plot is set in 1952 when a young boy named Gotya falls in love with an older girl and tries to use witchcraft to win her over. However, it backfires, and the child becomes a ghost named Munjya. Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam



The film ‘Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam’ came to OTT on September 20 and is available on the Aha platform. Starring the prominent actor Rao Ramesh in the title role, this family comedy drama was released in theaters on August 23 and attracted positive attention. Indraja, Ankith Koyya, and Ramya Pasupuleti also play significant roles. The plot revolves around Subramanyam (Rao Ramesh), who was selected for a teacher's job in 1998, but due to a court stay, it was put on hold.
