Vishwambhara: Dissatisfaction from Megastar on Certain Scenes? Planning a Reshoot!
The film 'Kalki 2898 AD' starring Prabhas made a sensational impact at the Indian box office, known to all. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this futuristic mythology entertainer amassed over Rs. 1100 crore, receiving widespread acclaim for its massive sets and Hollywood-level VFX work, stunning all viewers as a visual wonder. Meanwhile, 'Vishwambhara', another upcoming film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, seems to be following in 'Kalki’s' footsteps, with talks suggesting Megastar is taking a leaf out of darling Prabhas’s book. Following 'Kalki’s' Path in 'Vishwambhara'! For the 'Kalki 2898 AD' film, director Nag Ashwin constructed 16 massive sets that greatly contributed to the CG work, providing a fantastic visual feast for the audience. The 'Vishwambhara' movie team is reportedly adopting a similar strategy. Director Vashista is striving to create an entirely new world for this film, with 8 large sets already constructed and plans for another 4 underway. Art Director AS Prakash is working hard to create these spectacular sets, currently being built at Annapurna Studios. 'Vishwambhara' to Top After 'Kalki'! After 'Kalki 2898 AD', 'Vishwambhara' is said to be the next big film with extensive set constructions, expected to deliver a visual treat on par with 'Kalki'. Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly playing a unique role that he has never attempted before, promising to thrill the audience with action sequences reminiscent of hero Prabhas. Chiranjeevi himself shared a video of his workout preparation for the film, indicating his dedication to the role. Trisha is co-starring with him in this movie. Megastar's Dissatisfaction Recent buzz suggests that Megastar Chiranjeevi is somewhat dissatisfied with 'Vishwambhara'. He has recently reviewed the footage from the shooting and has expressed concerns about certain scenes that deviate from the script. He has reportedly suggested changes to director Vashista. This has led to talks within the industry about potential reshoots for those scenes. Despite this, the makers have announced 'Vishwambhara' as a Sankranti gift, though there is speculation about whether the release date might change due to the reshoots. Bollywood Actor as the Villain In 'Vishwambhara', Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor is playing the villain opposite Chiranjeevi. He previously impressed in a special role in 'Devadas', starring Nagarjuna and Nani, and has now returned to act in 'Vishwambhara'. Originally, Rana Daggubati was offered the villain role, but he declined due to similarities with another character he was portraying. Several scenes with Kunal Kapoor have already been filmed. The film is being produced under the banner of UV Creations by Vikram, Vamshi, and Pramod. Alongside Trisha, Aashika Ranganath is also playing a lead role, with music composed by M.M. Keeravani. His blockbuster movie 'Indra' is being re-released on August 22 in the 4K version. There has been talk for some time now that the film 'Vishwambhara' will feature a brother-sister sentiment. Young actress Ramya Pasupuleti provided some clarity on this. In an interview during the promotions of 'Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam,' she made some interesting comments. "I am playing the role of Chiranjeevi's sister in the film 'Vishwambhara.' I will be sharing the screen with him for quite some time. No one would miss a chance to work with him. I have received many supporting roles, but I did not accept any of them because I wanted to do lead roles. However, I accepted this sister role solely because it is opposite Chiranjeevi. Along with me, other heroines are also playing his sisters in the film," she said. These comments have since gone viral in the industry. https://twitter.com/i/status/1825121103187964326

Ram Charan’s 'Game Changer' to Clash with Chiranjeevi’s 'Vishwambhara' This Sankranti?!
Ram Charan’s 'Game Changer' to Clash with Chiranjeevi’s 'Vishwambhara' This Sankranti?!
Ram Charan, in collaboration with director Shankar, is shaping up a Pan-India film titled 'Game Changer'. This is Ram Charan's first project after the colossal success of 'RRR', setting high expectations. The movie, being developed as a political action thriller, is produced by Tollywood producer Dil Raju. Mega fans are eagerly anticipating its release, scheduled as a Christmas treat. However, there’s a strong buzz that the film might also contend in the Sankranti race, sparking interest on whether it will pose a strong competition to Chiranjeevi's own film already slated for Pongal. From Christmas to Sankranti Lock-in! Sankranti is a major festival in the Telugu states, a popular release window for big-star films. Alongside this, Megastar Chiranjeevi has also locked his upcoming film 'Vishwambhara' for the Pongal race. Following this, there are talks within film circles that Ram Charan’s latest 'Game Changer' may also target a Sankranti release. Given the ongoing post-production work, a Christmas release might not be feasible, hence the makers are considering a shift to Sankranti to optimize returns, setting the stage for a potential box office clash between Chiru and Charan. Is Distributor Pressure the Cause? The shift of 'Game Changer' from December to Sankranti is reportedly due to distributor pressure. Distributors believe that moving this high-budget film to Sankranti would be more profitable than a Christmas release, as releasing during the Christmas period might not be as lucrative. Additionally, the concern is that with movies releasing around January 10 for Sankranti, missing this window could potentially result in a loss of long-period collections, as the film would only have a 20-day run to make a substantial impact. Will Chiru Step Back? Although father and son, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have yet to clash at the box office. If 'Vishwambhara' versus 'Game Changer' happens, it might send mixed signals to the fans, creating a dilemma on which movie to support during the release. Film circles speculate that Chiranjeevi might consider postponing 'Vishwambhara' to avoid a direct clash for his son’s sake, especially given the ongoing uncertainty over 'Game Changer’s' release date. Producer Dil Raju and music director Thaman have initially promoted the film for a Christmas release, yet the fans remain skeptical, now with heightened promotions pointing towards a Sankranti release. Missing the Sankranti window could deeply dissatisfied Mega fans, pressing the makers to lock the date for the festival. Charan Says No to Reshoots! Ram Charan has recently completed shooting for 'Game Changer' and shifted his focus to his next film under Buchibabu’s direction, ‘RC16’, adopting a new long-haired look and physique. However, recent reports suggest director Shankar was dissatisfied with some scenes from 'Game Changer', considering reshoots with Charan. When this was brought to Charan’s attention by producer Dil Raju, he declined, fearing it would delay his ongoing project 'RC16', for which dates were already committed. Charan-Neel Combo Loading! Another exciting project is brewing for Ram Charan with Prashanth Neel, known for delivering blockbusters like 'KGF' and 'Salaar'. Discussions have reportedly concluded for this venture, which DVV Danayya is expected to produce. However, this project might take time to commence, as Neel is currently occupied with 'NTR 31', 'Salaar 2', and 'KGF 3'. Charan also has upcoming commitments with directors Buchibabu and Sukumar, only after which the Charan-Neel movie might take off.

Sankranti Clash: Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' vs Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' Set to Ignite Box Office
Sankranti Clash: Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' vs Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' Set to Ignite Box Office
Featuring Ram Charan, and directed by Shankar, the film 'Game Changer' is up next after the global hit 'RRR', setting high expectations. With Megastar Chiranjeevi withdrawing his film 'Vishwambhara' from the race, producer Dil Raju has officially announced the release of 'Game Changer' as a Sankranti gift. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna’s son, Naga Chaitanya, seems ready to compete with Charan, as strong buzz suggests his latest film 'Thandel' is targeting Sankranti too. Thandel Enters the Sankranti Race! Starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, 'Thandel' is generating significant buzz in Tollywood as a romantic action drama. Following their previous blockbuster, 'Love Story', expectations are high for this duo’s second film together. Movie lovers are eagerly awaiting this release, which the makers plan to push for a Sankranti release. Initially, the producers planned to release the film on December 20, but due to pending work, a Sankranti 2025 release is now deemed more suitable, with an official announcement expected soon. Charan Versus Chaitu In Tollywood history, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna have clashed several times during Sankranti. This Sankranti, their heirs are set to battle it out, adding intrigue to the festive season. Following the success of RRR, Ram Charan has gained international fame, which he hopes to bolster with 'Game Changer'. On the other hand, Chaitanya is yet to secure a hit following 'Love Story'. With 'Thandel', he aims to reclaim his spot in the hit track. The repeat pairing of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in 'Thandel' is anticipated to yield positive results. It remains to be seen who will emerge victorious in this face-off. Strong Competition from Balakrishna! Alongside 'Game Changer' and 'Thandel', Nandamuri Balakrishna will also be a strong contender this Sankranti. Directed by Bobby, 'NBK 109' is gearing up for a festive release. Balakrishna’s films have been successful in the last two Sankranti seasons, indicating stiff competition for 'Game Changer' and 'Thandel'. Additionally, a film directed by Anil Ravipudi starring Venkatesh is also likely to release during Sankranti, along with Sundeep Kishan's 'Majaka', making this Sankranti a battleground at the box office. The Story of 'Thandel' 'Thandel' is Naga Chaitanya’s 23rd film, with music by Devi Sri Prasad. In this film, Chaitanya plays a fisherman. The story revolves around a group of fishermen from Srikakulam who go to Veeraval in Gujarat for fishing and get caught by the Pakistani Coast Guard. The film explores the events that unfold thereafter. In Gujarati, 'Thandel' means a boat operator, a term commonly used by people in the villages along the Gujarat-Pakistan border, as revealed by director Chandu Mondeti in an interview.

Rajamouli, Prabhas, NTR, and Bunny: Tollywood's Box Office Titans Dominating the ₹1000 Crore Club
Rajamouli, Prabhas, NTR, and Bunny: Tollywood's Box Office Titans Dominating the ₹1000 Crore Club
In Tollywood, reaching ₹100 crore in collections was once not a common feat. If a film crossed ₹100 crore during its lifetime, it was considered a significant achievement. However, the scenario has drastically changed in recent times. Director SS Rajamouli has elevated Tollywood to a global scale, making it common for our heroes to easily rake in ₹100 crores on the opening day alone. Recently, NTR also smashed records by grossing ₹172 crores on the first day alongside the godly figures. Several star heroes and directors from Tollywood have carved their own unique markets and can effortlessly claim these numbers with a solid hit. Let's take a look at these special figures. Market Over ₹1000 Crores! Director SS Rajamouli creates a global buzz with every film. His direction in 'Baahubali 2' (₹1810 crores) and 'RRR' (₹1300 crores) brought in over ₹1000 crores each. He is currently directing 'SSMB 29' with Mahesh Babu, which is expected to hit a global stride and is projected to gross around ₹2000 crores. On the other hand, pan-India star Prabhas has created a unique market for himself regardless of directors. His recent film 'Kalki 2898 AD' grossed over ₹1200 crores. With big projects like 'Kalki 2', 'Salaar 2', 'Spirit', and 'Raja Saab' in his pipeline, these films are poised to reach over ₹1000 crores. Market Between ₹700-1000 Crores Currently, Tollywood boasts five individuals who have a market capacity of from ₹700 Crores to ₹1000 crores. Among the heroes, Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun easily fit this bill. Allu Arjun is set to release 'Pushpa 2' on December 6, and with the national buzz it's generating, it could easily make between ₹700-1000 crores if it becomes a hit. Mahesh Babu is set to drastically raise his market with an upcoming film directed by Rajamouli. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is planning his next film with Prabhas, is expected to touch the ₹1000 crore mark, as per industry analysts. Prashanth Neel’s upcoming projects with NTR ('NTR31') and Prabhas ('Salaar 2') also place him in this high market bracket. Market Between ₹500-700 Crores In this market range, three Tollywood heroes stand out. NTR, Ram Charan, and Pawan Kalyan can easily achieve this with a proper hit. Notably, Tarak has already shown the potential to easily join the ₹500 crore club with his recent success with Devara. Ram Charan, collaborating with director Shankar on 'Game Changer', is expected to release around Christmas, and success here could similarly elevate him to the ₹500 crore club. Pawan Kalyan has yet to venture into pan-India films, but his upcoming projects 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and 'OG' are set at this level. There's significant anticipation for 'OG' among fans. Market Between ₹200-500 Crores From Tollywood, megastar Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are likely contenders for this category. At 69, Chiranjeevi's star power remains undiminished. His upcoming movie 'Vishwambhara' is highly anticipated and could easily make ₹200-500 crores if successful. Balakrishna’s last three films have each crossed ₹100 crores. His next, 'NBK109' directed by Bobby, features Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the antagonist. A successful clash between them could easily surpass ₹200 crores. Meanwhile, script magician Trivikram, despite mixed reviews for his last film 'Gunturu Karam', managed ₹250 crores. His next film is rumored to be with Allu Arjun, which could potentially rake in ₹500 crores if successful. Director Koratala Siva has also increased his market value with the film 'Devara', projecting his future films to start above the ₹200 crore mark.

'Game Changer' Release Date Locked announcement on Vinayaka Chavithi?
'Game Changer' Release Date Locked announcement on Vinayaka Chavithi?
Following 'RRR,' Ram Charan stars in the highly anticipated film 'Game Changer,' directed by Tamil star director Shankar. This political action thriller is produced by prominent Tollywood producer Dil Raju. Fans are eagerly waiting to know when this film will hit the screens. Recently, a significant update regarding the release date of 'Game Changer' has emerged, suggesting a big surprise on Vinayaka Chavithi. Let's look at the details. Release Date Locked? It appears that a major update is ready for the film 'Game Changer.' The movie team is planning to unveil a poster with the much-awaited release date. The film is set for a pan-India release on December 20, as a Christmas gift. There's buzz that an official announcement regarding the release date will be made on September 7, during Vinayaka Chavithi, potentially through a special poster. Producer Dil Raju recently confirmed at a movie event that 'Game Changer' would be released in December, delighting mega fans. Teaser Ready to Launch So far, the 'Game Changer' movie has not released content up to the expected level. In response, the makers are preparing to release a teaser soon. They plan to surprise mega fans with the teaser this month, giving a full treat with two updates within the same month. Industry insiders speculate that the teaser might be released in the last week of September. If this happens, it will be a joyous occasion for Ram Charan's fans. Why Only for Christmas! It seems that mega hero Ram Charan is following in the footsteps of pan-India star Prabhas. Prabhas' film 'Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire' was released last Christmas and achieved blockbuster success. However, there's a reason why 'Salaar' was released during Christmas. With Mahesh Babu (Guntur Karam), Nagarjuna (Naa Saami Ranga), Venkatesh (Saindhav), and Teja Sajja (HanuMan) competing in the 2024 Sankranti season, it was decided to release 'Salaar' solo during Christmas for better box office results. Now, Ram Charan & Co are also contemplating a similar strategy. With Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 'Vishwambhara' locked for Sankranti 2025, and other major films like Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi's film, Ajith's 'Good Bad Ugly', and 'Shatamanam Bhavati 2' also likely to compete, a Christmas release would enable Ram Charan to make a significant impact at the box office, just like Prabhas. Director Shankar's High Hopes! Director Shankar's recent release 'Bharateeyudu 2' was met with severe disappointment, with netizens commenting that it did not feel like a typical Shankar film. His previous films like 'Robo 2.0', 'I', and 'Snehithudu' also underperformed at the box office. Therefore, 'Game Changer' has become crucial for Shankar to return to the path of success. Producer Dil Raju is also hoping to recover from the disappointment of his last film 'Family Star,' starring Vijay Deverakonda, which was a significant failure at the box office. Currently, both the director and producer are pinning their hopes on the success of the Charan movie.

Pushpa 2 vs NBK 109: Allu Arjun and Balakrishna Face-off? Another Big Fight at the Box Office!
Pushpa 2 vs NBK 109: Allu Arjun and Balakrishna Face-off? Another Big Fight at the Box Office!
Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar's much-anticipated movie "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is currently shooting at a brisk pace and is set to hit theaters on December 6. Allu Arjun's fans are eagerly awaiting this date. With no other major releases scheduled for the first week of December, it is expected that "Pushpa 2" will dominate the box office. However, it seems that Nandamuri Balakrishna will provide strong competition to Bunny's film. A box office clash between Balayya and Bunny appears imminent. Pushpa 2 vs NBK 109! Nandamuri Balakrishna is working on an action entertainer with director Bobby. Known by its working title 'NBK 109,' this movie is also progressing rapidly. Initially, the makers planned to release the movie as a Sankranthi treat. However, recent buzz suggests they plan to release it a month earlier, on December 2, and preparations are underway. An official announcement may soon confirm this. If this happens, the box office clash between Allu Arjun and Nandamuri Balakrishna is set to be intriguing. Akhanda Sentiment! Balakrishna is also driven by a sentiment to release his film in the first week of December. His movie "Akhanda," released three years ago on December 2, was a blockbuster. Makers strongly believe that releasing 'NBK 109' on the same date will replicate that success. Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Vishwambhara" is slated for a grand release on January 10, along with Venkatesh - Anil Ravipudi's film, Ajith's "Good Bad Ugly," and "Shatamanam Bhavati 2," all set for Sankranthi. Hence, 'NBK 109' might have to opt for an earlier release date. Balakrishna’s Golden Jubilee Celebration Nandamuri Balakrishna is celebrating 50 years in the cinema industry. A grand golden jubilee celebration is planned by Tollywood on September 1 in Hyderabad. The event invitations are being distributed jointly by the TFPC, TFCC, and MAA Association to prominent actors. Recently, Stylish Star Allu Arjun received his invitation. Earlier, invitations were also sent to Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, and actors from Tamil and Kannada industries like Vijay Sethupathi, Siva Karthikeyan, and Shiva Rajkumar. Balayya... Unstoppable Nandamuri Balakrishna has been unstoppable in the industry for the past 50 years, acting in 109 films. Interestingly, he has worked with 129 heroines across these films. His movies span various genres, including social, mythological, folklore, biopics, science fiction, and period dramas. Balakrishna has also made a successful foray into politics, winning elections as an MLA three times. For 25 years, he has served as the chairman of the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, earning a reputation as a lifesaver for many.

Game Changer: Mega Fans in Tension.. 'Game Changer' Not Releasing This Year?
Game Changer: Mega Fans in Tension.. 'Game Changer' Not Releasing This Year?
Following the blockbuster 'RRR', Ram Charan is starring in 'Game Changer', a political drama directed by Tamil cinema's renowned director Shankar and produced by Tollywood's notable producer, Dil Raju. Recently, Dil Raju hinted at a Christmas release, which had mega fans celebrating. However, new issues have surfaced that could potentially delay the film's release this year. What's the Reason? There's strong buzz that 'Game Changer', starring mega power star Ram Charan, might not release this year as planned. Although initially set for a Christmas release, it's now uncertain due to incomplete shooting. It's reported that more than 15 days of shooting are still pending, and director Shankar is still scouting for new locations. This could mean more time is needed to finish the shooting, followed by post-production and dubbing, possibly pushing the release past December. 2024 Summer Release? The 'Game Changer' film, a collaboration between Ram Charan and Shankar, might move from December to the summer of 2025. Even though there's a chance for a Sankranti release if December is missed, several films are already slated for the Pongal competition. The makers of megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Vishwambhara’ have announced a Sankranti release. Similarly, films starring Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi, and Ajith’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’, and ‘Shatamanam Bhavati 2’ are also aiming for the same festive release. In this context, it seems unwise for the 'Game Changer' team to join the race. Given the exam season in February and March, cinema pundits are speculating a possible release during the summer holidays. High Hopes on Game Changer! Director Shankar’s recent release 'Indian 2' disappointed audiences, failing to meet expectations and earning criticism online. His previous films such as 'Robo 2.0', 'I', and 'Snehithudu' also underperformed at the box office. Therefore, 'Game Changer' has become crucial for Shankar to regain his successful track. Producer Dil Raju is also counting on this film to recover from the financial losses incurred from Vijay Deverakonda's 'Family Star', which flopped at the box office. Currently, both the director and producer are heavily reliant on the success of this Charan movie. Kiara’s Poster Hits the Mark! In 'Game Changer', Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani stars as the female lead. Recently, on her birthday, the film team released a special poster where Kiara looks stunning in a multi-colored lehenga. This look is from the movie's first single, 'Jaragandi Jaragandi'. In addition to Charan and Kiara, S.J. Surya, Anjali, Srikanth, Nazar, Naveen Chandra, and Samuthirakani play significant roles in the film.

Jai Hanuman: Megastar Chiranjeevi in 'Jai Hanuman'?
Jai Hanuman: Megastar Chiranjeevi in 'Jai Hanuman'?
Teja Sajja and director Prashanth Varma's film 'Hanuman' has captivated audiences nationwide. Released across India in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, it quickly became a blockbuster hit. This Sankranthi, 'Hanuman' not only held its own against major films but also shattered box office records, generating significant profits for its producers. The success of the film has naturally led to heightened expectations for its sequel. Recently, buzz has emerged around 'Hanuman 2', with rumors circulating in Tollywood that Megastar Chiranjeevi may join this highly anticipated project. Contacts with the Megastar! As hinted in the climax of the first part, 'Hanuman' will have a sequel. The script work for this movie is nearly complete. It is understood that director Prashanth Varma wishes to cast Megastar Chiranjeevi for the role of Hanuman, believing that only he can do justice to the character given its importance in the sequel. Alternatively, there are strong efforts to cast Ram Charan for the same role. As per sources efforts have started, strengthening the buzz that either Chiranjeevi or Ram Charan might be enacting as Hanuman. Producer Chaitanya Reddy's recent comments have further fueled this speculation, suggesting that if either Chiru or Charan agrees, expectations for 'Hanuman 2' will sky-rocket. Will 'Jai Hanuman' Take Time to Start? It appears that 'Jai Hanuman' might take more time to kick off. Director Prashanth Varma is recently reported to be starting a film with Nandamuri Balakrishna's son, Mokshagna Teja. Mokshagna, who was on the heavier side, has recently slimmed down and undergone a handsome makeover, sparking rumors that their film will soon go on floors. Given this, it's likely that Prashanth Varma will focus on 'Jai Hanuman' after completing his project with Mokshagna. Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi is busy shooting 'Vishwambhara' aimed for a Sankranthi release. On the other hand, Ram Charan is acting in 'Game Changer' and has also given a green signal to star in a film directed by 'Uppena' fame Buchi Babu. This may further delay the shooting for 'Jai Hanuman'. Mokshagna's Video Goes Viral There have long been rumors about Nandamuri Balakrishna's son Mokshagna entering the film industry. Balakrishna has mentioned at several movie events that his son will join the film industry. Previously, there were negative comments about Mokshagna not being suitable for a hero. However, recent stylish photos of Mokshagna have surprised fans and netizens. A recent video of a photoshoot featuring Mokshagna in a yellow shirt has gone viral. The video has been extensively shared by Nandamuri fans, making it a trending topic online.

Game Changer: Is the Release Date for 'Game Changer' Set? Ram Charan Follows in Prabhas' Footsteps!
Game Changer: Is the Release Date for 'Game Changer' Set? Ram Charan Follows in Prabhas' Footsteps!
Following the blockbuster success of 'RRR', Mega Power Star Ram Charan is set to appear in 'Game Changer', directed by renowned Tamil cinema director Shankar. This film has generated high expectations among audiences, including Mega fans and regular moviegoers alike. Recently, the film's producer, Dil Raju, sparked further excitement by making intriguing remarks and hinting at the release date for 'Game Changer', leading to a flurry of eager posts from fans about the confirmed release date. Is It Releasing on That Day? Produced by the prominent producer Dil Raju, 'Game Changer' is being crafted as a political action thriller. At the recent pre-release event of 'Raayan', Dil Raju responded about the release of 'Game Changer', hinting at a Christmas release. This suggests that 'Game Changer' might hit the screens on December 25 as a Christmas gift. It marks the 50th film produced under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, making it a prestigious project for Dil Raju. The editing work for this movie is currently underway. https://twitter.com/i/status/1815052022200013098 Ram Charan in Prabhas' Path! It appears that Mega Hero Ram Charan is emulating Pan India Star Prabhas. Last year, Prabhas starred in 'Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,' which was released as a Christmas gift and became a blockbuster, grossing Rs. 700 crores worldwide on December 22, 2023. The decision to release during Christmas was strategic, aimed at avoiding competition with major stars like Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh, who had films lined up for the Sankranti festival in January 2024. Similarly, Ram Charan and his team are considering a solo Christmas release to ensure strong box office returns without facing competition from other big names. For Sankranti 2025, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 'Vishwambhara' has been scheduled, and films like Venkatesh’s new project with Anil Ravipudi and Ajith’s 'Good Bad Ugly', as well as 'Shatamanam Bhavati 2' are also expected to release. Thus, releasing 'Game Changer' as a Christmas gift could potentially replicate the box office impact seen with 'Salaar.' High Hopes for Game Changer! Following the disappointment of Shankar's recent release 'Bharateeyudu 2', which failed to meet audience expectations and was widely criticized online, 'Game Changer' has become crucial for Shankar's return to success. HBD Chiranjeevi: Special on Chiru’s Birthday.. Do you know about the events that made him a Megastar?
Megastar Chiranjeevi's birthday is celebrated like a festival by his fans. Even celebrities extend their wishes on this occasion. However, Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, who became Megastar Chiranjeevi, did not reach the heights of fame effortlessly. He faced numerous obstacles and challenges throughout his journey, eventually earning a special place in the hearts of the audience as the Megastar. Today (August 22), on his birthday, let's look at the events and factors that elevated him to such a high status. The Incident That Fueled Chiru’s Determination Before entering the industry, Chiranjeevi lived in Madras with Hari Prasad and Sudhakar. They used to watch previews of movies distributed by Poornachandra Pictures and would give their ratings. On one such occasion, they sat in the front row to watch a movie. However, the hero of the movie, along with the driver and makeup man, came in and forcibly took their seats. Chiranjeevi and his team had no choice but to stand and watch the movie. When the wife of the company’s head asked, “How was the movie?” Chiru responded in anger, “Aunty, we came as your guests, but that hero made us stand by the door. We endured it because we didn’t want to cause trouble for you. If I don’t become the number one hero in this industry, you can ask me why!” True to his word, he reached that level. From Small Roles to Hero Status Chiranjeevi entered Tollywood in 1978. After many attempts, he got his first opportunity in the movie 'Punadi Rallu.' Interestingly, the film 'Pranam Khareedu,' in which he acted later, was released first. This film introduced him to the audience. While he was trying to establish himself as a hero, some people demanded that he play small roles in other heroes’ films. In one instance, Chiru mentioned that he acted in those roles, hoping the time would come when he could prove himself. He conveyed that despite the obstacles, one could reach their goal by staying positive. The Reason Behind Chiru’s Mesmerizing Dance In the early days of his career, Chiranjeevi’s dance was not exceptional. After completing a song shoot, he asked his manager how his performance was. The manager replied, “What’s there in it? You just did what the dancers behind you did. You need to show your uniqueness.” From then on, Chiru started going beyond what the choreographers instructed, captivating audiences with his extra effort. Chiranjeevi also once mentioned that film critic Gudipoodi Srihari played a role in helping him improve his acting. From Reviewer to Padma Vibhushan Megastar Chiranjeevi stays as far away from negativity as possible, which is why he always appears energetic. He strongly believes that listening to failure stories can lead to discouragement. He credits his immense self-confidence as the key to his success. Starting his career as a reviewer, he went on to receive the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award in India, for his contributions to the film industry. Notably, he had already received the Padma Bhushan before this. Supporting Young Heroes Megastar Chiranjeevi is always at the forefront of encouraging newcomers. No matter how busy he is, he attends events for young heroes if invited. Speaking on this once, he said, “I don’t feel proud of this. When I entered the industry, I wished someone would encourage me. Now, when small heroes come to me and invite me, I see myself in them. I pat them on the back and encourage them as much as I can.” As the Darling Child of Art Chiranjeevi frequently responds to the issues in the industry and the struggles of film workers, offering help to the best of his ability. When some people called him the "Big Support" of the Telugu film industry, Chiru humbly denied it, saying, “I am just the darling child of art, not something big.” Leading in Charitable Activities Among Telugu heroes actively participating in charitable activities, Megastar Chiranjeevi stands out. Through the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, he has brought light into many lives and continues to extend a helping hand to those in need. In his four-decade-long acting career, he has garnered millions of fans and won several awards, including three Nandi Awards for Best Actor. Currently, he is busy with his 156th film, ‘Vishwambhara,’ directed by Vashishta, set to release on January 10 next year.
