SHOCKING: 'Devara' Director Koratala Siva Under Fire - Blockbuster Sea Sequence Allegedly Copied from Korean Film; Shankar Hints at Legal Action Over Story Rights!
Directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr. NTR, 'Devara: Part 1' has created a storm at the box office, becoming the biggest hit of Tarak's career. The sea fight sequence in particular has thrilled audiences, and Koratala Siva's creativity has been widely praised. However, there's a growing controversy online suggesting that these were not entirely Siva's original ideas, but rather direct copies from a Korean film. Here's the video that's trending as evidence.
What Actually Happened?
The introduction and interval scenes in 'Devara' are so dynamic that they're bound to give anyone goosebumps. No one expected a Telugu director to execute such an elaborate action sequence at sea. The film features a scene where the hero, along with his gang, goes to a ship to steal weapons, dumping the gun-filled crates into the sea. Members of the hero's gang, already stationed in small boats, then retrieve these crates to smuggle them past the naval officers. Yet, netizens are surprised to find a strikingly similar scene in a Korean movie, accusing director Koratala Siva of plagiarism. Audiences are mocking the director for fooling them, urging everyone to check out the Korean movie scene.

That Scene Too!
It's known that Tarak plays a dual role in 'Devara.' Initially, as part of the villain's gang, 'Devara' participates in smuggling for some compelling reasons but later turns good. Meanwhile, he also instills fear among his peers against smuggling. The director showcases a sequence with chairs filled with knives along the coast. However, this scene has also been accused of being copied, with claims that it closely resembles a scene from the Hollywood film 'Vikings.'

Is the Story of Devara Also Copied?
There were extensive promotions before the release of 'Devara' claiming that its story was adapted from a copyrighted novel. Tamil director Shankar recently accused that he saw key scenes from his copyrighted novel being used in a film, stressing that creators should respect rights and avoid copying without permission, warning of legal actions. However, Shankar did not clarify which film he referred to. But, the buzz on social media suggests that the story of 'Devara' closely mirrors the Tamil novel 'Veera Yug Nayagan,' for which Shankar holds the rights.
Similar Accusations in the Past
This is not the first time Koratala Siva has faced plagiarism accusations. He was also heavily criticized during the release of 'Srimanthudu' with Mahesh Babu. Writer Sharath Chandra even took the matter to court, claiming his story was copied. The issue had created a sensation across the Telugu states back then. In 2012, Sharath had published his story 'Chachentha Prema' in Swati Monthly, and while he was planning to adapt it into a film, he accused Koratala Siva of making 'Srimanthudu' based on his story.

In what contexts were they delivered? Let's delve into this special feature.
Kalki Movie Dialogues
The movie begins with a scene depicting the Kurukshetra episode. Ashwatthama commits a grave mistake by launching a weapon at an unborn child. The dialogues that follow, as Lord Krishna curses him, are captivating.
Ashwatthama: Champadaniki vaste nannu champu Krishna. Nee upadeshalu vinadaniki nenu Arjunudni kaadu.
Krishna: Ee 18 rojulu Kurukshetramlo jarigina papaala kanna.. Nee adharmam nishkritamainadi. Dhronacharyudi putrudivi ayyundi intaku digajaraava?
Ashwatthama: Naa tandri peru palike arhata neeku ledu. Nuvvu anukunte atadi marananni aapagaligevadi.
Krishna: Ashwatthama.. Devudaina krurudaina karmanu tappinchukoleru. Garbhasta sisuvupai astram vadilavu. Nee kharm nuvvu anubhavinkaka tappadu.
Ashwatthama: Ayithe sandhinchu chakram.. Vidhinchu nee shikshani.
Krishna: Chavu nee shiksha kaadu Ashwatthama.. Adi vimukti. Kalantaram Pandavulu andaru chanipotaru. Naa shareeramoo maranistundi. Ee yugam antharistundi. Kaani, neeku maranam radu. Veladi sanvatsaralu nee gaayalu maanaka.. Chavu raaka.. Brathakaleka.. Enno papalu choosthu jeevistavu. Ide naa shapam.
Ashwatthama: Mari naa shapaniki prayschittam leda?
Krishna: Nuvvu nannu champalanukunnav.. Kani oka roju nuvve nannu kapadali.
Ashwatthama: Nena?
Krishna: Kaliyugam vastundi. Kali vastunnadu. Adharmam perigipoyi prapanchamantha cheekati ayinappudu nenu malli oka avataram ettali. Aa yugamlo Kali maha shaktishali. Enta shaktivantudu ante na puttukane apagaladu. Appudu nuvve na garbha gudiki kapala kayali.

Bujji: Hey.. Stop. Nannu shoot chestava. Ippudu choodu naa boss vachhi mee andarini smash chestadu.
Villan Gang: Evaru mee boss?

Scientist: Neeku istam vachhinatlu cheyadaniki nuvvu evaru?

Dialogue
Supreme Yaskin rescues Sumathi (Deepika Padukone), who is pregnant with Kalki, from his own people and brings her to Shambala. The guard of Shambala, unaware of who Sumathi is, tries to stop them. The scene and dialogues that follow highlight this moment.
Rakshanadhikari: Amenu ikkadaku enduku teesukochchavu. 5 million pounds pettaru eeme meeda. Complex matrame kadu worldlo prati okkaru ame kosam vethukunnaru. Ela kapadatavu?
Ashwatthama: Nenu kapadatanu.

As soon as that dialogue is spoken, rain begins to fall immediately, a rare event in that region. The people of Shambala believe that the birth of Kalki will occur from her womb as her arrival brings rain. This scene gives the audience goosebumps.
Dialogue
Sumati (Deepika) questions Ashwatthama why Lord Vishnu chose her to be the mother of Kalki. The dialogues in this context are mesmerizing.
Ashwatthama: Nuvvu pranam ivvadanike puttava amma?
Sumati: Asalu em matladutunnaru. Inka toli oopiri kuda teesukoni ee bidda kosam inka entha mandi chanipovali?

Ashwatthama: Prati chaavuki oka paramartham untundi. Prati chaavu lokaniki kotta oopiri postundamma.

Ashwatthama: Nuvvu ippudu kanabooyedi mamulu pranam kaadamma.. srushtini. Janmanivvadam nee dharmam kaapadatam naa badhyata.
Dialogue
Upon arriving in Shambala, Sumati is claimed by Chatterjee, the Complex representative, who instructs his men to seize her. He tells his commander that riders have been sent in all directions and they will soon capture her. Meanwhile, Prabhas, who has already battled Ashwatthama, declares they can do nothing more. The dialogue between him and Chatterjee captivates the audience.
Bhairava: Aa musalodu unnanthavaraku em cheyaleru.
Chatterjee: Musaloda?
Bhairava: Mee vallandarini kottindi atade? Okkadu kuda vadni touch cheyaledu. Nenu tappa.
Chatterjee: Veedevadu asalu?
Commander: Bhairava ani bounty enter sir. Mana vallani kodithe black list chesanu.
Bhairava: Elagaina black list chesavu kada. Malli kodatha. Point enti ante nenu okkadine aa ammayini teesukuragalanu. Meeku vere option ledu.
Chatterjee: Antha sure aa..
Bhairava: Records chusuko.. Inthavaraku okka fight kuda odipoledu. Idi kuda odiponu.
Dialogue
In the climax of the movie, the scene involving Kamal Haasan sends chills down the spine. After gaining power, he declares, “Jagannatha rathachakralu vastunnayi vastunnayi.. Rathachakra pralayaghola bhoomargam pattistanu.. Bhukampam puttistanu.” భూకంపం పుట్టిస్తాను') revealing the extent of the destruction he is about to unleash in the second part of his dialogue. However, this dialogue originates from Sri Sri’s epic work "Maha Prasthanam." Kamal Haasan previously delivered this dialogue in the movie "Akali Rajyam" 44 years ago. Hearing Sri Sri’s poetry from his lips after so many years again surprised the audience.

Pushpa 2 Soars with Pawan Kalyan's Support: Ticket Hike, ₹350 Crore Day 1 Prediction, and Mega-Allu Clash!
There has been intense speculation about discord between the Mega and Allu families recently. Especially during the AP elections, Allu Arjun's support for a candidate from a rival party to Pawan Kalyan became a focal point. After the elections, the coalition parties with Pawan Kalyan celebrated a grand victory, and he was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister. Amidst this, the Pan-India film 'Pushpa 2', featuring Bunny, is gearing up for release. Everyone is eagerly awaiting how Pawan will respond to the issue of ticket price increases. Recently, it’s reported that the movie's producers have approached Pawan, and everyone is shocked by his response.
Pawan... Green Signal!
The 'Pushpa 2' film, a collaboration between Allu Arjun and Sukumar, is set to release grandly across Pan-India on December 5. It will be screened on approximately 13,500 screens worldwide, with 8,500 in India and 5,000 overseas. The movie has been produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar with a budget of about ₹500 crores. Consequently, they have requested the AP government to allow an increase in ticket prices. AP political circles mentioned that the producers discussed this issue with Pawan Kalyan, who responded positively. Amidst the ongoing campaign pitting Allu against Mega, the producers were anxious about how Pawan would react, but they were surprised by his cool approval. An official announcement regarding the ticket price hike is expected soon from the AP government.
Pawan's Assistance... ₹350 Crores Guaranteed!
Just as the 'Pushpa 2' team has approached the AP government regarding the ticket price hike, they will soon meet with the Telangana government. There is a chance that the Revanth Reddy government will also respond positively. Trade circles estimate an average increase of ₹100-125 per ticket. Currently, single-screen prices are ₹175, expected to rise to ₹300, and in multiplexes from ₹275 to ₹425 or more. With the movie being shown on 13,500 screens, 'Pushpa 2' is expected to collect nearly ₹350 crores on the first day alone. If this happens, 'Pushpa 2' could create history with the highest Day 1 gross in India, surpassing RRR’s current top spot with ₹223.5 crores. If the collection reaches over ₹350 crores on the first day, it could be said that Pawan’s support through the ticket price increase played a role.
Trailer Controversy Rekindles Dispute
The grand launch event of the 'Pushpa 2' trailer in Patna, Bihar, saw an unexpectedly large turnout of Bunny’s fans last Sunday. The massive support Bunny received in a neighboring state surprised everyone. However, using this as a weapon, Bunny's fans have targeted Pawan, claiming that only in AP does Pawan get such support, whereas Bunny draws huge crowds even in northern states like Patna. This includes posts from YSRCP fans supporting Allu Arjun, asserting that before Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan is nothing, provoking the Mega fans. On the other hand, Pawan’s fans are strongly retaliating, pointing to the support Pawan received during the Maharashtra election campaign and mentioning that he is a respected person endorsed by the Prime Minister.
Pushpa 2 Sets Another Record
Before the release of 'Pushpa 2', the film is breaking records, recently achieving a milestone in pre-sales bookings. 'Pushpa 2' has swiftly entered the one million dollar club in overseas markets. It has become the fastest movie to reach the one million dollar mark through pre-sales at the American box office. The production company posted, celebrating another day, another record set by 'PushpaRaj' who continues to dominate the box office. This post has thrilled Allu fans who are exuberantly commenting on the triumphant journey of 'PushpaRaj'.

Before "Pushpa: The Rise," Sukumar was primarily recognized within Tollywood, but the film's success catapulted him to a pan-India directorial status. His direction in "Pushpa" left a strong impression, especially his transformation of the stylish Allu Arjun into a rugged character with untidy hair and a beard, perfectly matching the role's demands. Unlike Rajamouli, who is known for emphasizing the interval and climax scenes with intense action, Sukumar adopted a unique approach in "Pushpa." He designed these key scenes without violence, thereby intensifying anticipation for the second half. In the climax, Pushpa's confrontation with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) set the stage intriguingly for the upcoming sequel.
Everyone is waiting eagerly for the sequel 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', set to release on August 15. The makers have already started promotions. If this movie is successful, Sukumar’s stature is expected to rise significantly. He has also announced that his next film will star Ram Charan. Rumors are that 'Pushpa 3' is also in the pipeline, suggesting that Sukumar could reach Rajamouli's level of popularity in the next 2-3 years.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Tollywood sensation director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has proven his mettle with the movie 'Animal'. He has earned a unique recognition by making films with different concepts and has changed the style of cinema making, similar to Rajamouli. He is currently preparing to shoot his next film with Prabhas, titled 'Spirit'.
In 'Spirit', Prabhas will appear as a police officer for the first time, and his character is expected to be very powerful. A poster related to Prabhas’s character has already been released, showing him in a different style of police uniform, reminiscent of an international cop look. Sandeep has promised that 'Spirit' will feature even stronger content than 'Animal', and he is confident that the movie will collect 150 crores on the first day alone, reaching 1500 crores in collections within a week if it receives positive reviews.
Following 'Spirit', Sandeep Reddy is set to direct with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal 2'. If these two films are successful, film analysts believe that Sandeep could achieve a level of fame comparable to Rajamouli.
Prasanth Varma
Young director Prasanth Varma has made a nationwide impact with his film 'HanuMan'. Achieving star director status with just his third movie, 'HanuMan' has become this year's highest-grossing film, collecting over Rs. 350 crores and surpassing expectations at the box office. Prasanth Varma is now developing 'Hanuman 2' and is rumored to be directing a period film featuring Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. Success in these two projects could elevate Prasanth Varma's reputation to a national level.
Prashanth Neel
Kannada director Prashanth Neel has achieved solid success with 'Salaar,' featuring Tollywood star Prabhas. His directing style has greatly impressed even Rajamouli. Prashanth Neel has captivated everyone by providing elevations that match Prabhas' on-screen persona, presenting him as a strong personality in 'Salaar.' He designed the interval sequence wonderfully, reminiscent of Rajamouli’s style. Every appearance of Prabhas on screen sent chills down the fans' spines.
Currently, Prashanth Neel is fully dedicated to 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam'. Success with this film could establish him as one of the top directors nationally. He is also preparing for 'NTR31' with Tarak, expected to start production soon, and the production company has announced that 'KGF 3' is underway. If these three projects are successful, Prashanth Neel’s fame could rival that of Rajamouli.
Koratala Siva
Koratala Siva, a noted director in Tollywood, has seen substantial box office success with all his films except 'Acharya'. He is now directing a pan-India film titled 'Devara' featuring Tarak, set against a coastal backdrop and generating significant buzz. The film, which includes Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and music by Anirudh, will release in two parts, the first on October 10. The promotional materials, including a thrilling scene of Tarak with a sword, have heightened expectations. Success with 'Devara' could elevate Koratala Siva to national prominence. If both parts succeed, he could become one of the country's most prominent directors.
Sujeeth
Sujeeth, recognized for his stylish direction, possesses skills akin to Hollywood filmmakers and is often compared to S.S. Rajamouli. Following 'Baahubali,' he directed Prabhas in 'Saaho.' Despite the film not meeting box office expectations, audiences appreciated Sujeeth’s direction, screenplay, and innovative approach, especially his execution of action scenes. He showcased Prabhas in a notably stylish role. At that time, it was said that Sujeeth would not need to look back if he could achieve a significant hit. Currently, he is directing 'OG' with Pawan Kalyan, anticipated as a pan-India release. Early glimpses have already excited Pawan's fans, where he portrays a gangster. If 'OG' succeeds, it is believed that Sujeeth's career could soar, with some analysts suggesting that two major hits might propel him to a status comparable to Rajamouli's.
Buchi Babu
Buchi Babu is one of the few directors who achieved a solid hit with their debut film. With 'Uppena,' he introduced a pure love story to the audience, proving his significant talent to the industry. He has now risen to a level where he is set to direct his next film with Tollywood star Ram Charan. This upcoming film, a sports drama, will also be released at a pan-India level. Analysts believe that if Buchi Babu's talent combines well with Ram Charan's star power, the film is sure to succeed. They also opine that his name will become well-known at a national level if this project succeeds.

Prashanth Neel's New Pan-India Film 'Bagheera' Trailer Drops: Fans Spot Strong 'KGF' Vibes!
From the Kannada film industry, 'KGF' and 'KGF 2' have created a sensation nationwide. Before 'KGF', Prashanth Neel, an unknown Kannada director, became a pan-India star with these two films. Recently, he directed 'Salaar' with Prabhas, creating another box office tsunami. Prashanth Neel is known for his meticulous attention to storytelling. In this sequence, he provided a story for a pan-India film titled 'Bagheera', whose trailer was released today and is captivating the audience. The trailer contains many elements reminiscent of 'KGF'.
In black and white frames...
The combination of director Prashanth Neel and production house Hombale Films, known from 'KGF', has gained recognition on a pan-India scale. Expectations for any project from this combination are sky-high. Under this combination, Hombale Films has produced a pan-India film, 'Bagheera', directed by Suri, with Sri Murali from Prashanth Neel's first film 'Ugramm' playing the lead role. The recently released trailer of this film is exceptionally captivating, showing Sri Murali in two different getups. The trailer, styled by Prashanth Neel, includes black and white visuals along with action sequences.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O38mUkgL-w8
KGF-style dialogues!
A Prashanth Neel film is known not only for its action but also for its compelling dialogues. The dialogues from 'KGF' received a great response. Similar dialogues can be seen in the 'Bagheera' trailer. It starts with a boy asking his mother, "Why does God always talk about Ramayana and Mahabharata, and why doesn't he ever come?" To which the mother explains the circumstances under which God appears, saying, "He comes when a man becomes a beast." This dialogue is followed by scenes featuring brutal villains. The hero, a police officer, is shown putting aside his uniform and ruthlessly eliminating criminals as a masked vigilante. The trailer shows Sri Murali’s acting prowess in dual roles, one as a police officer and the other as a weapon against demons. Actor Prakash Raj is also seen in the trailer as a high-ranking police official.
Mother's sentiment!
In 'KGF', the hero's mother dies during his childhood, and the promise he made to her turns him into a criminal. Observing the 'Bagheera' trailer suggests a similar story, indicating the presence of a mother's sentiment. A boy, whose mother dies when he is young, grows up to become a police officer to fight injustices. Believing that justice isn’t served legally, he turns into a masked man and brutally kills criminals. However, the hero's mother might have faced troubles from criminals, and with the intention that no one else should suffer as she did, he wears the uniform. Netizens believe that the combination of black and white frames and action sequences gives a feeling reminiscent of 'KGF'. The film is set to release in front of audiences on October 31.
Busy with 'NTR 31'
After the blockbuster 'Salaar', Prashanth Neel is set to work with Jr NTR on his next project, tentatively titled 'NTR 31'. This film is rumored to be set against a backdrop in Bangladesh, with Tarak playing a Bangladeshi farmer. This project is likely to start rolling soon. While known for directing sequels, it is reported that Prashanth Neel intends to make 'NTR 31' as a single part. After this movie, there's a possibility that Prashanth Neel will direct 'Salaar 2' with Prabhas. Recently, there were also reports about finalizing a project with Ram Charan.

Harom Hara OTT: Sudheer Babu's Film Storming on OTT, Ranked Number One Nationally
Directed by Gyanasagar and starring Sudheer Babu, the latest film 'Harom Hara' is an action thriller. Malavika Sharma features opposite Sudheer Babu, and Sunil plays a pivotal role. Released to audiences on June 14, the film garnered positive feedback in theaters but failed to achieve significant commercial success, earning only moderate box office returns. Recently, it was released on OTT platforms and is now trending nationally at the number one spot.
Trending at the Top
'Harom Hara' has recently streamed on three OTT platforms: ETV Win, Aha, and Amazon Prime Video. It is gaining special popularity on these platforms, achieving impressive viewership. Amazon announced that 'Harom Hara' had reached the top position nationally and released a special poster in celebration. The film has outperformed several Bollywood films to secure this top spot.
https://twitter.com/telugubit/status/1814512633242132650
The Reasons for Its Popularity!
In 'Harom Hara,' Sudheer Babu appears as Subrahmanyam, delivering one of the top mass roles of his career. His character receives significant elevations in the second half, reminiscent of films like 'Pushpa' and 'KGF.' Transforming into a mini gangster in Kuppan and manufacturing guns using his mechanical skills, Subrahmanyam's rise to power captivates the audience. The intense action sequence that opens the second half could be considered the best scene of Sudheer Babu’s career. The climax, where Sudheer Babu single-handedly takes on hundreds of rowdies with powerful weapons, is particularly thrilling. If some dragging scenes had been trimmed and the love track between the hero and heroine better developed, the film might have received even better reception in theaters. Overall, the film team is very pleased with its performance on OTT.
Director Deserves Praise!
Director Gyanasagar Dwaraka has skillfully navigated a routine story, managing to impress with his storytelling. He introduces the point he wants to convey directly, integrating stunning action sequences into the narrative. The first half primarily focuses on character introductions, leading up to a twist before the interval that pulls the audience into the main story. The story picks up pace from the second half, though it becomes somewhat predictable, which slightly detracts from its impact. Overall, for fans of action movies, 'Harom Hara' offers a substantial treat.
The Story
In the 1980s, in the border area of Kuppam which connects Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, Thammireddy and his family, including his brother Basava and son Sharath Reddy, ruled the area harshly, creating chaos and injustice. Subrahmanyam (Sudheer Babu) arrives in this tough environment and starts working as a mechanical lab assistant at a local college. However, he quickly runs into trouble with Sharath Reddy, leading to his suspension. With financial pressures mounting, Subrahmanyam uses his mechanical skills to start making guns illegally. Although he initially conflicts with Sharath Reddy, they eventually join forces to continue the gun-making business. Eventually, Subrahmanyam challenges Thammireddy’s authority. What follows? How does Subrahmanyam impact the lives of the people in Kuppam? Why do the locals start to view him as a hero, almost like a god? How does he stand up to Thammireddy? These questions shape the story.

Kalki 2 Prediction: Will 'Kalki 2' Gross ₹2000 Crores? The Real Story is in 'Part 2'!
Currently, the Indian film industry is abuzz with discussions about 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Two weeks post-release, the film's collections are still robust, exceeding all box office expectations. Director Nag Ashwin has creatively intertwined mythology with the future, earning acclaim for his innovative storytelling. Audiences feel they've been taken to another world while watching the film. Yet, there's growing speculation that what we've witnessed is merely a precursor. Rumors suggest the sequel will be on a scale never seen before, with expectations that if 'Kalki' had a target of ₹1000 crores, Part 2 will aim for ₹2000 crores.
The Real Story is in 'Part 2'!
'Kalki 2898 AD' appears to serve primarily as an introduction to its characters. The narrative centers around Prabhas as Bhairava, Deepika Padukone as Sumati, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Kamal Hassan as the villain Supreme Yashkin, and Vijay Deverakonda as Arjuna. The first installment focuses on establishing each character's background and significance within the storyline. It portrays the trials faced by people at the end of Kali Yuga and the turmoil inflicted by the villain Supreme Yashkin. This part sets the stage for the anticipated arrival of Kalki, the tenth avatar of Vishnu. Interestingly, the hero Prabhas and the villain Supreme Yashkin do not encounter each other in this installment. In 'Part 2', they are expected to finally meet face-to-face, adding a layer of anticipation and intrigue to the sequel.
Kamal Hassan's Full Presence
In the Kalki 1st part, Kamal Hassan's role lasts less than 15 minutes, with very few dialogues, limiting the audience's opportunity to see his performance. By injecting a serum derived from Sumati (Deepika Padukone), Supreme Yashkin gains divine powers, becoming even more powerful, as shown at the climax of 'Kalki'. This suggests that Kamal Hassan’s character will be fully developed in 'Kalki 2'. At a recent event, Kamal himself confirmed he would have a more significant presence in the sequel. Consequently, there might be a chance for the fans to see a full-blown transformation of Prabhas from Bhairava to Karna, directly combating Supreme Yashkin along with Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan).
How Will Bhairava Discover His Power?
The director Nag Ashwin surprised everyone by turning Prabhas’s Bhairava into Karna at the climax. The film showed a weapon from the Mahabharata falling into Bhairava’s hands, transforming him into Karna. After Yashkin kills several people, Bhairava reverts to his original form. The first part ends with Bhairava abducting pregnant Sumati. How will Prabhas realize he is Karna in the second part? What does Bhairava do with Sumati whom he kidnapped for a bounty? How will he become close to his brother Ashwatthama? How will he confront the villain Yashkin who is blocking Kalki’s arrival? These questions will be answered in the second part.
Full-Length Role for Vijay!
Vijay Deverakonda , appearing as Arjuna in Kalki, stunned everyone. He impressed in the Kurukshetra episode from the Mahabharata. However, it turns out Vijay’s role isn’t just a cameo. Film circles are abuzz that he will have a full-length character in the second part. Will they bring Arjuna’s character forward into the future, or will they show more scenes related to Kurukshetra where Vijay will appear? This remains to be seen. Additionally, rumors suggest that Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan's role will also return in the second part. If this happens, 'Kalki 2' is easily expected to reach the ₹2000 crore mark based on the star power this will bring to the film.
When is 'Kalki 2' Releasing?
Following the super success of 'Kalki 2898 AD', all eyes are on the release of the second part. Recently, producer Ashwini Dutt spoke about 'Kalki Part-2', revealing that shooting might start towards the end of this year. They plan to release the film in theaters by the summer of 2025. This has led to celebrations among Prabhas’s fans who are eagerly commenting on social media, asking for an official update soon and expressing their anticipation for Part 2.

'Devara', an action drama directed by Koratala Siva starring Jr. NTR with Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine. After many years, Jr. NTR performed dual roles in this film, portraying the characters Devara and Vara. Saif Ali Khan played the antagonist, while Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko played key roles.
The script was carefully crafted by Koratala, reflecting his experience with 'Acharya'. The dialogues in the film are particularly impactful and linger even after the movie ends.
The dialogues, especially those delivered by Jr. NTR, Prakash Raj, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, resonate well with their characters and are sure to draw cheers.
[toc]
Saif Ali Khan's dialogue:
"Erra samudram kaadiki vachi raktham gurinchi matlaadutundava.. naaku chaavu gurinchi cheputundava"
Akkadi nunchi tappinchukunnna Ajay, Prakash Raj daggariki vellinappudu...
Prakash Raj dialogue: "Konda meedakocchi bhayapedudaam anukunnaava?"

Prakash Raj: "Singappa.. nuvvu digivachina konda meeda thoorpu dikkuna untanu."
Ajay: "Nenu ikkadiko panimida vachanu. Peddayanavi, mee vallaku oka maat cheppi oppinchagalava!"
Dialogues that come while traveling on a boat in the ocean…
When Ajay dives into the ocean for his diamond ring and gets frightened seeing the underwater cages, the dialogue delivered by Prakash Raj is really good.
Prakash Raj: "Vajrapu ungarm dorikinda? Samudramlo neeku kanuchchina dani bhayamto vajram gurtuku raale.! Ee bhayame neelanti vallu entha mandi vachina, entha aasha chupina, ikkada unnavaallu ee samudram joli ki matrame raaru."
The dialogue Prakash Raj delivers while introducing Devara makes the fans blow whistles.
Ajay: Kallu moosina, terisina samudramlo chusinde kanipistondi. Asalu evaru vallantha.. evaru chesaru idantha?
Prakash Raj: "Chala pedha katha saami, rakthamto sandrame erupekkina katha."
Ajay: "Evari katha?"
Prakash Raj: "Padi padi leche samudram meeda padakunda nilabadina vaadi katha.. maa Devara katha."
"Bhayam povalante devudi katha vinalaa, bhayam ante ento teliyalante Devara katha vinalaa."
"Kulam ledu, matham ledu, bhayam ledu, variki telisindi dhairyame."
The dialogues Devara speaks about his father to his son Varan in that context are also good.
Varam (Jr. NTR): Abba eppudu mee nanna kathalu, valla nanna kathalu chebutuntaav..! Maa nanna katha cheppu, Devara katha cheppu naaku!
Devara: Taruvatha taraniki cheppukunetantha kathalu kavuraa.. mee nayanavi. Maa nayanollaavi desam kosam poraadina veerula kathalu. Maavi.. evariki cheppukoleni cheekati kathalu, batikunnamane gani, bhavitaraalaku kathaluga cheppukunelaa ee batukulu marutaayo ledo maakuda teliyadu.
The dialogues in the scene where Devara first confronts the arms dealers are powerful.
Devara: Maa ayudhala leke indulo kuda ayudhalu unnayantav.
"Maa ayudhalu manchini chedu nunchi kaapadatanki puttay.. Mee ayudhalu manchini champadanki puttay."
Villain: Maatalu ekkuva avutunnay, samudram ekkala, samudram elala?
The dialogue NTR delivers when Konda in Devara's gang turns against them is superb.
JrNTR dialogues

The conversation between NTR and Janhvi Kapoor when they first meet each other is romantic.

Tangam: "Abbo appude maa ayyato matlaadedaka poyinava?

During the weapon worship, when the villain (Saif Ali Khan) belittles young NTR after drugging him, the dialogue spoken by Rayappa (Srikanth) is powerful.

The film 'Kalki 2898 AD,' directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas, generated worldwide excitement. This high-budget science fiction action movie, also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, became known as India's most expensive production. With its Hollywood-level trailer and teaser, anticipation skyrocketed following the initial poster release. The movie premiered on June 27. Did 'Kalki 2898 AD' meet the high expectations and give another blockbuster to Prabhas's career?
What's the story?
The plot of 'Kalki 2898 AD' unfolds from a deceit by Dharmaraja in the Mahabharata. Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan), cursed by Krishna during the battle of Kurukshetra, eagerly anticipates the arrival of Kalki. Upon discovering that Kalki will be born to a woman named Sumati (Deepika Padukone), he takes on the role of her protector. Meanwhile, Bhairava (Prabhas) in Kashi seeks to enter a sacred complex that requires one million units for entry. Realizing that capturing Sumati could earn him the necessary funds, Bhairava sets out on his quest. Will he confront Ashwatthama and succeed in capturing Sumati? Who is Supreme Yashkin (Kamal Haasan) play, and why is he interested in Sumati? How are the Kali Yuga's conclusion and the Kurukshetra's battle connected? Why are the residents of Kashi and Shambhala facing hardships? What roles do Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan play? One must watch the movie 'Kalki' to find the answers to these questions.
How did they perform?
Pan-India star Prabhas once again asserted his commanding presence in this film, particularly shining in the role of Bhairava. His dynamic action sequences left a lasting impression. While his role was limited in the first half, he delivered a fully engaging performance in the second half. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, portraying Ashwatthama, gave an unparalleled performance, with his efforts evident on screen. Kamal Haasan, playing the villain, offered a performance that surpassed expectations. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani captivated audiences with their roles. The cameos by Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Rajamouli, Rana, and RGV were delightful. All other actors fulfilled their roles with great conviction.
How's the direction?
Director Nag Ashwin is poised to make a global impact with 'Kalki'. The film's greatest strength lies in the story, which was crafted by Nag Ashwin himself. His direction, vision, and presentation all earn high praise. Although the first 40 minutes may appear slow, Ashwin ensures that the pace never falters. After this initial segment, the narrative picks up speed and maintains its intensity all the way to the climax. The scene just before the interval, in particular, is sure to give the audience goosebumps. The futuristic vehicles, weaponry, and sets are visually spectacular. Nonetheless, the screenplay has minor flaws, and some scenes seem overly prolonged. The absence of elements that typically thrill the broader audience represents a slight drawback. Improved dubbing for Deepika could have further enhanced the viewing experience. Overall, Nag Ashwin has achieved significant success as a director.
Technically
On the technical front, all departments exhibited exceptional skill. The graphics department especially deserves high praise. The cinematographer’s work is outstanding. Santhosh Narayanan’s music is a significant plus for the film, particularly elevating the action sequences. The editor could have sharpened his cuts a bit more. The production values are very high, with no compromises on the budget. Every scene is richly produced.
