Ambajipeta Marriage Band movie Review: A Fresh Concept in Suhas' Film.. A Hat-trick Achievement?
Ambajipeta Marriage Band movie Review: A Fresh Concept in Suhas' Film.. A Hat-trick Achievement?
Cast: Suhas, Shivani Nagar, Goparaju Ramana, Swarnakanth, Nitin Prasanna, Vinay Mahadev, Jagadeesh Prathap, Sharanya Pradeep Writing and Direction: Dushyant Music: Shekhar Chandra Cinematography: Wajid Beg Editing: Kodati Pavan Kalyan Producers: Dheeraj Mogilineni, Bunny Vas, Venkatesh Maha (Presentation) Release Date: 02-02-2024 Actor Suhas, who began his career as a character artist, swiftly rose to become a lead actor in Tollywood. He gained recognition through films like "Colour Photo" and "Writer Padmabhushan". Amidst this trajectory, another film featuring Suhas as the hero, "Ambajipeta Marriage Band", has caught attention. Partnering with GA2 Pictures and generating interest through promotional materials, expectations for the film have risen. But how does it fare? Does it deliver a hat-trick of successes for Suhas? Let's delve into the review. What's the Story? In "Ambajipeta Marriage Band'', Malli (Suhas) is a member of the titular band. He lives in Chiratapalli with his family. His sister Padma (Sharanya Pradeep) works as a teacher at a local school. A rumor starts circulating that Padma's job was secured through the influence of the village's influential Venkatbabu (Nitin Prasanna), suggesting an illicit relationship between them. Consequently, a feud erupts between Venkatbabu and Malli, escalating like a storm. What happens next? What's the story of Malli and Lakshmi's (Shivani Nagar) love? To find out, one must watch the movie. How Did They Perform? Aside from their roles in "Ambajipeta Marriage Band", the actors are not seen elsewhere. Each actor has fully immersed themselves into their characters. Suhas, in the role of Malli, is outstanding. He entertains with Abbas' hairstyle in the first half and impresses with a bald look in the second half, showcasing natural acting skills, particularly in emotional scenes. Shivani Nagar, as Lakshmi, perfectly embodies her character. Sharanya Pradeep, portraying Suhas' sister, could be considered another hero of the film, with her character's design being a highlight. Nitin, Vinay Madhav, and Jagadish Bandari, who plays the hero's friend, also captivate with their performances. How's the Direction? Numerous films have tackled love stories marred by financial and caste disparities, as well as revenge dramas. This movie falls into the same category. However, the director, Dushyant, has introduced a fresh element by weaving in concepts of sibling emotions and self-respect into the narrative. By naturally portraying the divides between castes and the financial inequalities, he manages to connect the audience to the story. The first half of the movie revolves around a beautiful love story and light-hearted scenes, leading up to a pivotal moment just before the interval that turns the narrative on its head. In the second half, the movie delves into a unique revenge drama, focusing on self-respect. Even though the story progresses as expected, the strong scenes and drama keep the audience engaged without feeling bored. Overall, Dushyant’s directorial effort is commendable. Technically Speaking... All technical departments have showcased commendable work. Shekhar Chandra’s music and background score, along with Wajid Beg’s cinematography, particularly the way he has captured Chiratapalli, stand out as major strengths of the film. The editing and strong writing significantly shift the movie's pace and direction. The film demonstrates a high level of craftsmanship in its making, with a high-quality production value. Plus Points Performances by Suhas and SharanyaThe storyline and backgroundEmotional scenes Minus Points Occasional boring scenes Rating: 3.5/5

Exclusive: The Young Telugu Heroes Who Will Rule Tollywood in the Future!
Exclusive: The Young Telugu Heroes Who Will Rule Tollywood in the Future!
In the film industry, inheriting stardom is increasingly the norm. Sons of star actors are showcasing their abilities and emerging as leading men. Tollywood too follows this trend, with a new generation of heirs to film legacies carving out their niche as stars. Yet, some actors have ascended to fame in Tollywood from non-filmy backgrounds, captivating Telugu audiences with their exceptional acting talents. These actors have inspired confidence in their ability to dominate the Telugu cinema landscape over the next five years. Who are these talents? What will their careers look like? What are the key factors that will enable them to rule Tollywood? Let's delve into these questions in this special feature. Suhas Young actor Suhas is creating a buzz in Tollywood with a string of successful films. Initially recognized by Telugu audiences for his comedic roles, Suhas has established himself as a leading man. His popular films, including 'Colour Photo', 'Writer Padmabhushan', and 'Ambajipeta Marriage Band', have made him a beloved figure among family audiences. Producers are confident that films featuring Suhas are sure to succeed at the box office. Critics also commend his script selection, and if he maintains this trajectory, he is poised to become another natural star akin to Nani. Vijay Deverakonda Young hero Vijay Deverakonda is emerging as a star of the future. Since his breakout role in 'Arjun Reddy', he has built a substantial fanbase that supports him regardless of the commercial success of his films. Despite a recent drought of hits, it would be premature to write off his career. His star power was solidified by the 2018 blockbuster 'Geetha Govindam', which earned over 100 crores. Securing another strong hit could make him unstoppable. Siddhu Jonnalagadda Another actor poised to make his mark on Tollywood is Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Before 'DJ Tillu', he was viewed simply as one of many in the industry. However, this film highlighted his unique talents. His recent success, 'Tillu Square', catapulted him into the 100 crore club. Siddhu's distinctive mannerisms, body language, dialogue delivery, and writing abilities have resonated particularly well with the youth, a key demographic for cinematic success. His forthcoming film, 'Tillu Cube', starring notable heroines Samantha and Tamannaah, is anticipated to solidify his status in the industry if it proves to be a hit. Naveen Polishetty Previously, Rajendra Prasad was the epitome of comedy heroes, but today, Naveen Polishetty has taken up that mantle for the current generation. Renowned for his impeccable comedic timing, he enjoys a robust following. His skill was prominently displayed in the 2019 movie 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya', and 'Jathi Ratnalu' further confirmed that his charm extends beyond just one film. Known as a dependable source for entertaining and enjoyable films, producers consider him a guaranteed success at the box office. Securing another hit would solidify Naveen's position as an unstoppable force in the industry. Teja Sajja Young hero Teja Sajja is captivating audiences with his selection of distinctive stories. He established his pan-India presence with 'HanuMan'. His movies such as 'Zombie Reddy', 'Ishq', and 'Adbhutham' all stand out for their innovative concepts. His latest project, 'Super Yodha', is another pan-India venture that features an adventurous theme. If 'Super Yodha' achieves success similar to 'HanuMan', industry experts are confident that Teja's career will only move forward, without any need to look back. Adivi Sesh Young hero Adivi Sesh has carved a niche for himself in action cinema. Following his role in 'Goodachari', a spy thriller, he has radically altered his choice of roles. Once known for playing the romantic lead and villains, he now selects roles that resonate with audience preferences. With blockbusters like 'HIT: The Second Case' and 'Major' under his belt, he is currently working on the sequel to 'Goodachari'. If he maintains this approach, Adivi Sesh could well become Tollywood's answer to James Bond. Priyadarshi Starting his career as a comedian and transitioning into a lead role, Priyadarshi first made his impact with the 2016 film 'Terror'. By starring in films with rural settings, he has attracted family audiences. His career took a significant turn with last year's 'Balagam', and his latest role in 'Mangalavaaram' has revealed a new dimension to his acting abilities. If Priyadarshi keeps selecting his projects with such strategic insight, there is a prevailing sentiment within the film industry that he is on the path to becoming a star hero.

The film's success can be attributed to its compelling content that resonated with the audience and inspired new talents to showcase their abilities. The movie ignites and motivates the new cast and crew to introduce their talents to the audience. The success of "Writer Padma Bhushan" is also an example of how audiences are increasingly supporting movies that break away from traditional stereotypes and have a unique concept that connects with viewers. The movie falls under this category as it is different from the regular mill of a story. People are supporting these kinds of movies that have a unique story to tell and that connect with the audience. Suhas, the lead actor in the movie, defies the old rule that a movie hero must be handsome and proves that acting prowess is enough to captivate the audience. He has opened the eyes of many directors who reject actors as not beautiful. Suhas leads the movie with his performance and has also impressed in the previous film, Color Photo. The film's success demonstrates that acting is the priority, and any hero movie with talent will be appreciated by the audience. The success of this low-budget film sets an excellent example that even low-budget films can achieve high profits. As the movie industry evolves, audiences are increasingly drawn toward films that break away from traditional stereotypes and offer unique concepts that resonate with viewers. Films that lack the usual tropes of songs, fights, and item numbers are becoming more popular, especially among younger audiences. A well-written hero movie, regardless of its budget or star power, can win over audiences as long as it has engaging content. "Writer Padma Bhushan" is a prime example of this trend, having captured the hearts of its audience and inspired new talents in the process. ‘Mem Famous’ Movie Review, is it another ‘Jathi Ratnalu’?
‘Mem Famous’ Movie Review, is it another ‘Jathi Ratnalu’?
Starring: Sumanth Prabhas, Siri Rashi, Muralidhar Goud, Anji, Narendra Ravi, Maurya Chaudhary Director: Sumanth Prabhas Music by: Kalyan Naik Cinematography: Shyam Dupati Producers: Chandru Manoharan, Anurag Reddy, Sarath Chandra, Surya Chaudhary In recent times, Tollywood filmmakers have been exploring the backdrop of Telangana, with movies like 'Balagam' and 'Jathi Ratnalu' garnering significant attention. Adding to this wave is the much-anticipated release, 'Mem Famous,' featuring Sumanth Prabhas in the lead role, who also directs the film. Produced by Chai Bisket and Lahari Films, renowned for their super hit movie "Writer Padma Bhushan," 'Mem Famous' has generated considerable buzz through its captivating trailer and extensive promotional efforts involving Tollywood stars. Now, let's examine whether 'Mem Famous' lives up to the lofty expectations it has set after its release on May 26. The Story: Set in a Telangana village, Mai (Sumanth Prabhas), Durga (Mani Egurla), and Bali (Maurya Chaudhary) are close friends who engage in lively banter during the day and revel in their nightly escapades. Mai is in love with Maunika (Saarya Laxman . Bali, too, finds affection for another girl in the village. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when their joint venture, a tent house, succumbs to a fire caused by a short circuit. Undeterred, they begin producing videos for their YouTube channel. How do these videos impact the village, and what twists unfold in the love stories of Mai and Bali? To find out, you must witness the story unfold on the silver screen. How is it? While the initial sequences depicting the trio's repeated mischiefs in the village panchayat may appear somewhat monotonous, it does raise questions about the presence of a compelling storyline. However, as the story unfolds, the friends' decision to establish a tent house and the subsequent love complications, combined with the fire incident, create a sense of intrigue, particularly in the second half. The incorporation of YouTube videos brings forth comedic moments that elicit genuine laughter. The romantic track between Sumanth Prabhas and Sarya Laxman resonates with the younger audience, showcasing Sumanth's impressive acting skills. Moreover, the performances of Mani, Sarya Laxman, Mani Egurla, Muralidhar, and the entire cast deserve commendation for their admirable portrayals in their respective roles. The Performances Sumanth Prabhas' acting falls short of expectations, leaving room for improvement. Mani and Maurya deliver performances within the range of their characters, while Anji, Muralidhar Goud, and Kiran Maccha leave a lasting impression. Shivnandan's role as the lipstick spoiler adds to the comedy. However, some unnecessary scenes clutter the movie's overall impact. Direction and Execution While experiencing 'Mem Famous,' one cannot help but draw parallels to films like 'Pellichoopulu' and 'Jatiratnalu.' Sumanth Prabhas showcases his storytelling prowess through an engaging narrative, yet the execution on screen falls short. The story lacks the necessary strength and often adheres to conventional tropes. Additionally, the inclusion of scenes addressing the struggles of farmers feels somewhat out of sync. Despite a few moments of freshness and humor, the overall impact of the film is underwhelming. However, it can still provide entertainment if approached with a lighthearted perspective. Technical Aspects Shyam Dupati's cinematography stands out with impressive visuals. The background music surpasses the songs composed by Kalyan Nayak. The production values are average, suggesting that the film may have had a generous budget. Pros Comedy elements induce laughter. Engaging background music. Intriguing scenes leading up to the interval. Cons A routine and predictable storyline. Pacing issues that result in stretches of dull moments. Songs that fail to leave a lasting impact. Rating:3/5 In conclusion, 'Mem Famous' attempts to showcase the essence of Telangana's cinematic backdrop but falls short of delivering a truly original and compelling narrative. Despite its shortcomings, it manages to offer some entertaining sequences that may appeal to certain viewers.

My Dear Donga Movie Review: Abhinav Gomatam Dazzles in the movie with Comedy
My Dear Donga Movie Review: Abhinav Gomatam Dazzles in the movie with Comedy
Cast: Abhinav Gomatam, Shalini Kandepudi, Divya Sripada, Nikhil Gajul, Shashank Manduri, Vamshidhar Goud Director: BS Sarvajna Kumar Writer: Shalini Kondepu Music: Ajay Arasada Editor: Sai Murali Cinematography: SS Manoj Producer: Maheshwar Reddy Gojal Streaming Platform: Aha Comedian Abhinav Gomatam stars in the main role in 'My Dear Donga', with Shalini Kandepudi playing another key role. This film targets OTT audiences and is streaming on the popular OTT platform Aha. So, how is the movie? Does it entertain OTT viewers or not? Let’s examine it in this review. What's the story? Sujatha (Shalini) and Doctor Vishal (Nikhil Gajul) are in a relationship. Initially, everything seems perfect, but soon Sujatha notices a change in Vishal; he becomes constantly busy and distant. During this time, Suresh (Abhinav Gomatam) breaks into her apartment intending to steal. Concurrently, Vishal, planning to celebrate Shalini’s birthday, shows up with his friends. After talking with Vishal earlier, Sujatha introduces him to her friends as an old childhood friend. Despite knowing Suresh is a thief, Sujatha forms a friendship with him. Why does she choose to befriend Suresh? What are their family backgrounds? And why does Vishal end up going to the police station? How did they perform? Actress Shalini effectively drives the narrative, seamlessly fitting into the role of Sujatha and particularly shining with her expressive performance in key scenes. Abhinav consistently brings humor to the film with his comedic timing. Nikhil is well-suited as Doctor Vishal, who is in love with Sujatha. Divya Sripada, Shashank as her romantic interest, and Vamshidhar Goud as a waiter, all deliver solid performances. How's the direction? Director BS Sarvajna Kumar aims to capture the mindset of contemporary lovers with his distinctive approach. The film begins at a leisurely pace, focusing on Sujatha’s employment woes, her friendships, and her romantic involvement with Vishal, but the pace intensifies once Suresh enters Sujatha's apartment. The comedy track featuring Abhinav Gomatam is a highlight, designed to elicit laughs from the audience. However, the way Sujatha and Suresh discuss their family backgrounds tends to muddle the storyline. The emotional sequences could have packed a greater punch. Despite this, the director has skillfully kept the film family-friendly, avoiding any crassness often masked as humor. Yet, some may find the narrative’s slow progression slightly tedious. Technically Speaking of the technical department, the music, cinematography, and editing are adequate. The production values are also suitable for the film. Plus Points - Acting of Shalini, Abhinav Gomatam - Comedy scenes Minus Points - Slow-paced narrative Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

SSMB29 Ignites Buzz: Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's African Adventure Awaits
SSMB29 Ignites Buzz: Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's African Adventure Awaits
Director SS Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu are set to collaborate on the movie 'SSMB29'. A few months ago, the film frequently made headlines with various updates, but it has since gone silent. However, a recent update has brought it back into the spotlight. It is widely discussed online that Mahesh Babu's upcoming film is based on two African novels. Let's delve into the details of these claims. Is the Story Really Based on Those Novels? The film featuring Mahesh Babu and directed by Rajamouli is one of the most eagerly awaited projects in Tollywood. Rajamouli's father, renowned writer Vijayendra Prasad, has provided the story for the movie. The storyline is reportedly complete, and pre-production work is currently underway. Recently, speculation has arisen that Rajamouli and his team have acquired the rights to two African novels, specifically those written by Wilbur Smith. There is talk in film circles that 'SSMB29' will be set against the backdrop of the African wilderness. The acquisition of rights to these African novels raises several questions. Is Rajamouli really basing SSMB29 on these books? This has caused much speculation among fans, and the film unit needs to provide clarity on these rumors. The Reason for the Delay! Movie enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the start of shooting for SSMB29. Filming was initially scheduled to begin in June, but due to pending pre-production work, it has been delayed. The primary reason for this delay is the extended time required for location scouting. Rajamouli now plans to start shooting in December once all preparations are complete. If that timeline doesn't work out, they plan to begin early next year. A Key Role for an Indonesian Starlet! There were previous reports that a Hollywood actress would join the cast of SSMB29. However, Indonesian actress Chelsea Elizabeth Islan has been selected for this massive project. Known for her dual heritage of American and Indonesian descent, Chelsea gained recognition at just 18 years of age. She has starred in Indonesian hits like 'The Baliq 98', 'Rudy', and 'Habibie,' and has even won the Second Indonesian Choice Award for Best Actress. An official announcement from Rajamouli's team regarding her participation is still awaited. A National-Level Press Meet? So far, director Rajamouli hasn't provided any official updates about 'SSMB29'. Will he hold a press meet to announce the details, as he has done for his previous films? This question is sparking interesting discussions. Reports suggest that Rajamouli is planning something big this time, which explains the long wait. If pre-production work is completed, a national-level press meet is expected to take place. The movie team is considering making an announcement to both Telugu and national media simultaneously. However, Rajamouli's team still needs to provide clarity on this matter.

Cast: Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Preethi Asrani, Ayesha Khan, Srikanth Iyengar, Aditya Menon, Racha Ravi, and others Writer & Director: Sri Harsha Konuganti Cinematography: Raj Thota Music: Sunny MR Editor: Vijay Vardhan Producers: V Celluloid, Sunil Balusu Presented by: UV Creations Release Date: 22-03-2024 Starring Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna in the lead roles, the latest movie ‘Om Bheem Bush’ is directed by Sri Harsha Konuganti. Touted as a comedy entertainer, this film has arrived amid much anticipation. But did it manage to impress the audience? What kind of ruckus did these three cause? Let's find out in this review. What’s the Story About? Krish (Sree Vishnu), Vinay (Priyadarshi), and Madhav (Rahul Ramakrishna) are good friends who live life carelessly engaging in silly activities. In the course of events, amidst some dramatic developments, these three step into a village called Bhairavapuram. How did these three end up becoming scientists? How did the village change them? Why did they step into the fort haunted by the Sampangi ghost? What connection does Krish have with the ghost? What experiences did these Big Bang Brothers face upon entering the fort? And how did Krish’s love story with Jalajaakshi (Preethi Asrani) unfold? That forms the rest of the story. How Did They Perform? The comedy delivered by Sree Vishnu, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Priyadarshi is the main strength of the movie. Their comedic timing in many scenes brought strength to the narrative. The heroines, Preethi Asrani and Ayesha Khan, though their roles are limited, Ayesha Khan managed to attract with her glamor. Priya Vadlamani also made her presence felt with a special song. Racha Ravi, Aditya Menon, Srikanth Iyengar performed well within the scope of their roles. Other actors in various roles also managed to grab attention with their performances. How’s the Direction? Similar to ‘Jathi Ratnalu’, director Sri Harsha Konuganti mixed a crazy journey of three friends with horror comedy. The interactions between Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna are hilariously executed. The first half of the movie revolves around the A to Z services they undertake in the village and the comedy woven around it. The second half is centered around the Sampangi palace. The storyline involving the Sampangi ghost and the climax scenes are appealing. However, the opening scenes and some in the second half like dating the ghost didn’t leave much impact. Overall, the director successfully blended old themes with comedy, providing a fresh feel to the narrative. Technically Speaking Technically, the film’s crew did a good job. Prabhas's 'Salaar' movie review: A Cinematic Saga of Power and Friendship
Cast: Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinu Anand, Easwari Rao, Shriya Reddy, and others. Writer and Director: Prashant Neel Music: Ravi Basrur Cinematography: Bhuvan Gowda Editing: Ujwal Kulkarni Producer: Vijay Kiragandur Release Date: 22-12-2023 'Salaar' is a film featuring pan-India star Prabhas, directed by Prashant Neel of 'KGF' fame. In this film, Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran plays a friend to Prabhas’s character. Shruti Haasan is the female lead. The anticipation for this movie has been high, and the recent release of its teaser and trailer has only heightened the expectations. Amidst great fanfare, 'Salaar' has been released worldwide. Does the film live up to Prabhas's image? Does it add another blockbuster to director Prashant Neel's repertoire? Let's find out. Story: Set in the kingdom of Khansar, ruled by Raja Mannar (Jagapathi Babu), the story unfolds in a realm controlled by feudal lords. Plots for the throne begin to emerge, leading to a conspiracy against Raja Mannar. To claim the throne, his son Varad Mannar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) calls upon his childhood friend Deva (Prabhas) to challenge the lords. How does Deva confront the army of lords? What does he do for his dear friend Varad? How does he earn the title 'Salaar'? And how does Aadya (Shruti Haasan) enter their lives? The movie unravels these questions. Performances: Post 'Baahubali', Prabhas impresses in 'Salaar' with his powerful action scenes. His portrayal as a devoted son and a loyal friend is captivating. His heroism and style, especially in the battle scenes, are commendable. Although Shruti Haasan’s role isn’t central, she plays a key part in the first half. Prithviraj Sukumaran delivers an excellent performance, with great chemistry between him and Prabhas. Other cast members like Eeswari Rao, Bobby Simha, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, Shriya Reddy, Jhansi, and John Vijay perform well within their roles. Direction: Director Prashant Neel has marked his signature style with 'Salaar'. He creates a fictional world named Khansar and weaves an intriguing story around it. Did the Vaisshnav-Sreeleela pair impress the audience? Let's find out in this review. Story Baloo (Vaisshnav Tej), raised under his mother's shadow, grows up boldly but can't tolerate injustice. He confronts anyone regardless of their power. Forced by his parents, he joins a cosmetic company. He falls in love with the CEO, Chitravati (Sreeleela). How does he confront Chengareddy (Joju George), the antagonist causing havoc in the region? To know, one must watch the movie. Review The first half is light-hearted, showing friendship, love, and family scenes in Hyderabad. The story takes a turn at the interval. The second half is all about Baloo's confrontation with Chengareddy. The film follows a pattern - a song when the hero and heroine meet, and a fight when the hero and villain face each other. Performances Vaisshnav Tej has once again proved himself as a good actor. He is entertaining as a lover boy in the first half and shows valor as Rudra Kaleswar Reddy in the second. Sreeleela doesn't have much scope for acting but excels in dance. Radhika, as the hero's mother, impresses. Joju George, as the villain, appears cruel but his character lacks impact.
