    Manorathangal Web Series: A Major Sensation in OTT History with South Legends!
    In today's OTT landscape, web series have surged in popularity, attracting audiences who seek detailed and comprehensive content. Observing this trend, even prominent actors are now showing a keen interest in participating in series. It has recently become typical for web series to span several episodes and feature an ensemble cast of stars. However, an exceptional new web series is set to launch soon. This series brings together notable stars and celebrities from the Tamil and Malayalam film industries, capturing significant attention from movie enthusiasts. Manorathangal Series Based on a story written by the renowned Malayalam writer MT Vasudevan Nair, the series titled 'Manorathangal' is an anthology that will showcase nine stories. It features Tamil and Malayalam industry stars such as Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Fahadh Faasil. Additionally, actors like Parvathy Thiruvothu, Biju Menon, Nadia, Nedumudi Venu, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Aparna Balamurali are also in the series. This anthology series will be streaming on the popular OTT platform 'Zee5', starting August 15 as a special Independence Day release. The first two episodes, 'Ollavum Theeravum' and 'Shilalikhitam', were directed by Priyadarshan. Subsequent episodes include 'Kadugannawa Oru Yathra' directed by Ranjith, 'Kalacha' by Shyam Prasad, 'Vilpan' by Aswathi V. Nair, 'Sherlock' by Mahesh Narayanan, 'Swargam Thurakkunna Samayam' by Jayarajan Nair, and 'Abhayam Thedi Vendam' by Santosh Sivan. The final episode, 'Kadal Kattu', was directed by Ritesh Ambat, completing the diverse narrative scope of the series. New Trend! A new trend is emerging in web series, where previously series were created around one or two stars, but now directors are keen on making multi-star series. Recent series like 'Heeramandi' directed by the famous Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali featured stars like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and Sanjeeda Sheikh. Similarly, the series 'Indian Police Force' included stars like Siddharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty, and Isha Talwar. This indicates a new evolution in the format of web series, incorporating numerous stars to attract a broader audience.
