    Daggubati Rama Naidu, renowned as the Movie Mogul in Telugu cinema, is a prominent producer. He holds the Guinness World Record for producing the most number of films. In 1964, he established Suresh Productions, and the first film under this banner was 'Ramudu Bheemudu' (1964), which was a commercial success. However, his subsequent films faced losses until 'Prem Nagar', starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, achieved a massive success at the box office. His notable productions include 'Ramudu Bheemudu', 'Prem Nagar', 'Jeevan Tarangalu', 'Sri Krishna Tulabharam', 'Mundadugu', 'Soggadu', 'Secretary', 'Devatha', 'Preminchukundam Raa', 'Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu',Malliswari and Drushyam'. For his contributions to cinema, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Bhushan. Besides being a producer, he was also successful in politics, winning the MP seat from Bapatla (1999) as a TDP candidate. In 2003, he received the award for Best Parliamentarian. His younger son Venkatesh and grandson Rana are star heroes in Telugu cinema. His elder son Suresh Babu is a renowned producer managing the responsibilities of Suresh Productions.
