Geetanjali is an Indian actress who has worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi films. Over a career spanning six decades, she has acted in over 500 films in multiple languages. Her first film was Narthaki Rani Ratnaprabha in the 1960s. NTR introduced her as a heroine to the silver screen with his directorial debut, Seeta Rama Kalyanam, in 1961. She gained fame for her roles in films like Murali Krishna (1964), Doctor Chakravarthy (1964), and Illalu (1965). She has also been a member of the Nandi Awards committee.
