    Harris Jayaraj is a music director in South India, known for his work in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. He quickly rose to fame and became one of the leading music directors. His father, S.M. Jayakumar, also worked in the film industry as a guitarist and music composer. Harris began his career as an assistant to A.R. Rahman. He gained recognition in 2005 with films like 'Aparichitudu', 'Ghajini', and 'Thotti Jaya'. In Telugu cinema, he composed music for films such as 'Vasu', 'Gharshana', 'Sainikudu', 'Aparichitudu', 'Orange', 'Surya s/o Krishnan', and 'Extraordinary Man'. Harris Jayaraj has been honored with the Kalaimamani award by the Tamil Nadu government and has won five Filmfare awards for Best Music Director.
