Marcus Bartley was an Anglo-Indian cinematographer known for his works in Telugu cinema and other Indian languages. He was the cinematographer of several timeless classics such as Shavukaru, Pathala Bhairavi, Maya Bazaar, Gundamma Katha, Chemmeen and Ram Aur Shyam. He was the first Indian to win the Gold Medal at the Cannes Film Festival for Best Cinematography and the National Film Award for Best Cinematography in Shanti Nilayam.
