Relangi, one of the first-generation comedians in Telugu cinema, was originally named Relangi Venkatramaiah. He made his silver screen debut with the film "Sri Krishna Tulabharam" (1943). Over three decades, he acted in over 300 films, gaining immense popularity for his diverse roles in several prominent Telugu films like "Missamma" (1955), "Mayabazar" (1957), "Nartanasala" (1963), and "Gundamma Katha" (1962). He was highly praised for his comic timing, unique voice modulation, and expressive acting skills.
