The movie ‘VD 12’, a Vijay Deverakonda-Gowtam Tinnanuri combo, is currently being shot at a brisk pace in Sri Lanka. Vijay is working hard for his role in this new look for the movie while also enjoying his downtime. Videos of Vijay enjoying a boat ride in the waters have gone viral online. He shared a video of a sunset boat ride on his Instagram account, which has been widely shared and celebrated by his fans for his boat driving skills.

The Movie Will Be in Two Parts…

Producer Nagavanshi recently spoke about ‘VD 12’, mentioning that the movie will be released in two parts. “I am not taking any risks with Vijay Deverakonda’s film. The content justifies two parts, and based on the outcome of the first part, we will proceed with the second,” he said, confident of a hit. This is the first time a Vijay Deverakonda film will be made in two parts, as all his previous films were single installments. If all goes as planned, fans might see sequels in Vijay’s career too.

Competition with Pawan!

With the announcement of the release date of ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu‘ on Monday (September 23), a box office clash between Pawan and Vijay seems likely. ‘VD 12’ is set to release next year on March 28, the same day as ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. Fans of Vijay are gearing up for a big fight at the box office against a big star like Pawan. The producers close to Pawan, Sitara Entertainments, are producing ‘VD 12’, which might not push them to reschedule. Industry insiders speculate that it is unlikely for ‘VD 12’ to find a new release date given the circumstances.

Vijay’s Future Projects!

Currently, Vijay Deverakonda has a couple of exciting projects in hand besides ‘VD 12’. Post ‘Family Star’, he is set to work on another project produced by Dil Raju and directed by Ravikiran Kola. Additionally, he is undertaking another project under the direction of Rahul Sankrityan, which is expected to be a period drama set in the Rayalaseema backdrop. Rashmika Mandanna is rumored to be cast opposite Vijay in this film.
