Satya: Tollywood's Rising Star Comedian, The Next Brahmanandam?
Satya: Tollywood's Rising Star Comedian, The Next Brahmanandam? Prominent comedian Satya is currently the talk of Tollywood. His recent performance in 'Mathu Vadalara 2' has been widely praised for being hilariously entertaining. There's a buzz suggesting that Satya is set to become a star comedian in Telugu cinema. Online posts are even predicting he might be the next Brahmanandam among this generation of comedians. Critics acknowledge the fruit of over a decade and a half of Satya's hard work, as he now seems poised to push other comedians to the side in the industry. Satya's One-Man Show! Audiences who watched the Friday release of 'Mathu Vadalara 2' are all praises for comedian Satya. Although the film features many artists, including the lead actor Sri Simha, everyone seems to be talking about Satya. Even if the script is considered weaker compared to 'Mattu Vadalara', and other attractions in the film did not stand out as much, Satya’s comedy alone worked wonderfully. From the first scene to the last, Satya made everyone laugh. Particularly, his dance in the song '16 Year Age' has received a tremendous response. Despite several downsides in the film, viewers feel that Satya’s comedy overshadowed them all. If he continues to deliver such performances, his place as a star comedian is assured. 15 Years of Struggle.. Though Satya has been in the industry for nearly a decade and a half, it took him many years to get a significant break. Following Sunil, Satya brings a similar style of comedy that instinctively makes people laugh. He has been progressing slowly over the past few years. Whenever he lands a good character, he turns into the highlight of the film with his outstanding comedy. In movies like 'Mathu Vadalara', 'Rangabali', 'Bedurulanka 2012', and 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi', he has delivered rib-tickling performances. Even in a lead role in 'Vivaha Bhojanambu', he made audiences laugh and cry. Despite being busier than ever, he hasn’t had a film that fully utilized his talent until now. 'Mathu Vadalara 2' seems to have filled that gap. Directors’ Focus on Satya! With each film, Satya’s career graph is on the rise, and Tollywood directors have taken notice. Information suggests that several star directors are planning to cast him in full-length characters in their films. With positive audience responses, filmmakers are considering creating separate comedy tracks just for him. Recently, in the Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar combo film 'Mr. Bachchan', Satya had a full-length role. Although his comedy was a highlight, the film’s flop status didn't bring him much recognition. Tough Competition for Other Comedians! Tollywood is home to many comedians like Ali, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, Getup Sreenu, Saptagiri, Chamak Chandra, Thagubothu Ramesh, and Dhanraj, who are all trying to rise to stardom. Even Sunil has returned to comedy and villain roles. However, critics predict that all these comedians will face stiff competition from Satya. His rising popularity might make him the first choice for directors, suggesting that other comedians must carve out their unique identities or risk diminishing opportunities in the industry.

‘Kesava Chandra Ramavat (KCR)’ Review: Rocking Rakesh Shines in a Heartfelt Tribute with an Emotional Twist Cast: Rocking Rakesh, Ananya Krishnan, Lohith, Mime Madhu, Tanikella Bharani, Tagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj, Jordar Sujatha, and othersDirector: Anji GarudavegaMusic: Charan ArjunEditor: Chintala MadhuProducer: Rocking RakeshProduction House: Green Tree ProductionsRelease Date: November 22, 2024 Comedian Rocking Rakesh stars in Kesava Chandra Ramavat (shortened as KCR), a film with an intriguing premise tied to the former Telangana Chief Minister, KCR. With Rakesh portraying a die-hard fan of KCR, the movie garnered significant hype. Directed by Anji Garudavega, the film also stars Ananya Krishnan, Tanikella Bharani, Dhanraj, and others. Did Rakesh impress in his lead role and justify the hype? Let’s find out in this review. The Plot Kesava Chandra Ramavat, alias KCR (Rocking Rakesh), hails from Rangabai Tanda in Warangal district and has been a devoted fan of K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) since childhood. Inspired by KCR’s speeches during the Telangana movement, Kesava grew up idolizing him. His cousin, Manju (Ananya Krishnan), is in love with him, but Kesava dreams of marrying a wealthy city girl, believing it would secure his future. Eventually, he gets engaged to the daughter of a rich man and vows to marry her in the presence of KCR. Determined to fulfill his promise, Kesava travels to Hyderabad to convince KCR to attend his wedding. What challenges does he face in the city? How does the ring road project create problems for his village? Does Kesava succeed in bringing KCR to his wedding? The answers form the crux of the story. Performances Rocking Rakesh delivers an earnest performance as a passionate KCR fan, showcasing his natural acting skills. His portrayal of a young man fighting for his village and dreams is convincing. Ananya Krishnan, playing Manju, does a decent job, though her role doesn’t offer much scope for acting. Lohith as Kesava’s father and Mime Madhu as his uncle stand out with their performances. Tagubothu Ramesh and Jordar Sujatha provide comic relief in their brief appearances. Tanikella Bharani, Dhanraj, and others perform adequately within their limited roles. Direction Director Anji Garudavega narrates the story of a simple Lambada youth’s journey from his village to the city, driven by his admiration for KCR. The film captures the emotional journey of Kesava, highlighting his struggles and dreams. The first half introduces Kesava, his village life, and his inspiration drawn from KCR’s speeches. The promise to bring KCR to his wedding adds intrigue to the second half. The challenges Kesava faces in Hyderabad and the emotional climax involving the ring road issue are handled well. However, the film’s overt focus on glorifying a political figure might limit its appeal. While it serves as a celebration for KCR fans and BRS supporters, its reception among general audiences remains uncertain. Technical Aspects Technically, the film is well-crafted. Director Anji Garudavega also impresses as a cinematographer. Charan Arjun’s songs and background score elevate the emotional sequences. The production values are commendable, reflecting a well-invested effort. Thiragabadara Saami Movie Review: A Tale of Love and Valor Cast: Raj Tarun, Malvi Malhotra, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Thakur, Makarand Deshpande, Pragathi, Raja Ravindra, John Vijay, Prithvi, Tagubothu Ramesh, and others Director: A.S. Ravi Kumar Music: JB Cinematography: Jawahar Reddy Producer: Malkapuram Shiva Kumar Release Date: August 2, 2024 Amid controversies, the new youth-centric film "Thiragabadara Saami," starring Raj Tarun and directed by A.S. Ravi Kumar, is released Today. Raj Tarun is joined by Malvi Malhotra and Mannara Chopra, who play the lead roles. Other significant characters are portrayed by Makarand Deshpande, Raja Raveendra, and Pragathi. The film, however, has been embroiled in scandal, with Raj Tarun's ex-girlfriend Lavanya accusing him of infidelity and being romantically involved with Malvi Malhotra. Released on August 2, amidst these controversies, "Thiragabadara Saami" has generated significant interest. How did the film fare, and was it able to engage the audience? Let's explore in this review. Plot Giri (Raj Tarun) is a very timid person who is afraid of everything and generally unresponsive to his surroundings. In contrast, Shailaja (Malvi Malhotra) is bold and aggressive. She doesn't hesitate to fiercely deal with anyone who teases her. A romance develops between these two with very different personalities. But how does Giri cope with controlling Shailaja? What challenges do their love face? Why did the usually calm Giri have to fight back? What did he do to win his love? You'll have to watch the movie to find out. Performances Hero Raj Tarun has fully immersed himself in the role of Giri. Initially portrayed as an innocent, he later transforms into a lover who fights for his beloved against all odds, showing great variation in two dimensions. Particularly in action sequences, Raj excels, showcasing an intensity never seen before in his career. Malvi Malhotra perfectly embodies Shailaja, making a strong impression in her Telugu film debut. The on-screen chemistry between Raj Tarun and Malvi Malhotra works very well. Second heroine Mannara Chopra also delivers an outstanding performance. John Vijay, Raghubabu, Ankita Thakur, Pragathi, and Raja Raveendra do their roles effectively. Direction Director A.S. Ravi Kumar has crafted this film as a love and action entertainer. The first half smoothly progresses with the introduction of the hero and heroine and their love track, entertaining with comedy arising from Shailaja dominating Giri. Their chemistry ensures that the first half never drags. A twist at the interval heightens interest for the second half, which is filled with hero elevations and action sequences, keeping the audience engaged. However, some scenes might feel boring, and certain fight scenes seem over-the-top for Raj Tarun's persona, lacking logical connection. Emotional scenes also did not resonate as well. Those looking for a solid action entertainer will enjoy "Thiragabadara Saami." Technically... On the technical front, the background music provided by JB is a significant asset, elevating the action sequences to another level. However, the songs are not particularly memorable. The cinematography is also commendable, and the editing is adequate. The production values are high. Plus Points - Raj Tarun's acting - Love track - Action sequences Minus Points - Non-effective emotional scenes - Some boring scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5
