The decision to release during Christmas was strategic, aimed at avoiding competition with major stars like Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh, who had films lined up for the Sankranti festival in January 2024. Similarly, Ram Charan and his team are considering a solo Christmas release to ensure strong box office returns without facing competition from other big names. For Sankranti 2025, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 'Vishwambhara' has been scheduled, and films like Venkatesh’s new project with Anil Ravipudi and Ajith’s 'Good Bad Ugly', as well as 'Shatamanam Bhavati 2' are also expected to release. Thus, releasing 'Game Changer' as a Christmas gift could potentially replicate the box office impact seen with 'Salaar.'
