Usha and earning the nickname "Indian FloJo." In recognition of her achievements, she received the Arjuna Award from the Indian government in 1988. Nachappa transitioned to the film industry with the autobiographical movie "Ashwani" in 1991. She went on to act in films such as "Adarsham" (1993), "Inspector Ashwini" (1993), "Miss 420" (1995), and "Andaru Andare" (1996), establishing herself in Tollywood. She has not acted in films since.
