Chakri provided music for hit films like "Idiot" , "Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi" , "Satyam" , "Shivamani" , "Desamuduru" , "Gopi Gopika Godavari" , "Neninthe" , "Maska" , "Dhee" , "Bhageeratha" and "Jai Manadera", among others. His composition for the film "Simha" earned him the Nandi Award. Chakri's musical hits contributed to the success of the combination of Puri Jagannath, Chakri, and Ravi Teja in films.
