    E.V.V. Satyanarayana, affectionately known as E.V.V. among Telugu audiences, gained fame for his family and comedy films. A disciple of director Jandhyala, he produced several successful Telugu movies. His directorial debut was with the film 'Chevilo Puvvu', which did not achieve much success. However, his breakthrough came with 'Prema Khaidi' (1991). He directed hit films such as 'Aa Okkati Adakku', 'Appula Appa Rao', 'Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu', 'Jamba Lakidi Pamba', 'Seetharatnam Gari Abbayi, 'Evandi Aavida Vachindi', 'Aame', 'Thaali', 'Aavida Maa Aavide', 'Chala Bagundi', 'Aaro Pranam', 'Ammayi Kapuram', 'Palnati Pourusham', 'Mamagaru', 'Soggadi Pellam', and others. He received the Nandi Award for the film 'Aame'. E.V.V.’s sons, Naresh and Aryan Rajesh, are also actors in the Telugu film industry.
