N. T. Rama Rao

In the Telugu film industry, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) is a legendary actor. He made his debut in the Telugu film 'Mana Desam' (1949). Throughout his film career, he acted in over 300 movies. NTR is especially renowned for his roles as the Hindu gods Sri Krishna and Sri Rama. His portrayal of these deities was so convincing that his fans worshiped him as a real god. He received critical acclaim for his performances in mythological films like 'Mayabazar', 'Narthanasala', 'Sri Krishnarjuna Yuddham', 'Lavakusa', 'Bhookailas' and 'Daana Veera Soora Karna'.
