Yarlagadda Sumanth Kumar is a prominent actor in Telugu cinema and the grandson of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He is the son of Akkineni's eldest daughter, Satyavathi, and son-in-law Yarlagadda Surendra. He made his Telugu film debut in 'Prema Katha' (1999) directed by Ram Gopal Varma, earning critical acclaim for his performance. His film 'Satyam' (2003) was his first commercial success. 'Gowri' (2004) and 'Godavari' (2006) brought him closer to family audiences. He achieved stardom with hits like 'Malli Raava' (2017), 'Golkonda High School', 'Madhumasam', and 'Pourudu'.
