Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju was a producer in Tollywood, born on December 13, 1943, in Mogalthur, West Godavari district. He was the younger brother of the legendary actor Krishnam Raju and the father of Pan-India star Prabhas. He established Gopi Krishna Movies and produced his first film, 'Krishnaveni' (1974), among others. His last production was 'Billa' (2010). He passed away due to illness on February 12, 2010.
