‘Vikram,’ Kamal Hassan’s latest film, is doing extremely well at the box office. Since its release, the film has broken a slew of records. The South film industry has recently flourished like nothing else. South Indian films are keeping the Bollywood industry awake at night. Tollywood’s ‘Baahubali 1 and 2’ and Sandalwood’s ‘KGF: 1 and 2’ have catapulted the Indian film industry to new heights. Even though ‘Vikram’ didn’t get the cash registers ringing in Hindi, the ‘Vikram’ film can join the elite list if it makes 500CR or more.  Many people are wondering and asking on Twitter why they released the film in so few theaters in Hindi.

With ‘Vikram,’ Kamal Hassan returned to the big screen after a four-year absence. Vikram’s comeback is fitting for this Universal Hero, as the film grossed over 175 crores worldwide in its first weekend. Many regional and big bollywood films, including ‘Samrat Prithviraj, F3 Telugu movie, and Major,’ were unable to withstand Vikram’s onslaught and suffered box office losses as a result.

‘Vikram’ Starrs Kamal Hassan, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi and Suriya (cameo) in lead roles. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagrajan, this is the second film from Lokesh Cinematic Universe after the film Kaithi.
