As ‘Devara‘ continues its rampage in theaters, several smaller films are ready to show their strength this week amidst the Dussehra holidays. Additionally, exciting films and series are set to stream on OTT platforms. Let’s find out what these films are and when they will be released.

Movies Releasing in Theaters

Swag 

After the success of ‘Raja Raja Chora‘, Sree Vishnu is back in ‘Swag‘, directed by Hasith Goli. This film, which has completed its shooting, will be presented to the audience on October 4. It tells the stories of various generations within a family tree. Ritu Varma, Meera Jasmine, and Daksha Nagarkar play key roles in this film.

Chitti Potti 

Starring Ram Mittakanti, Pavithra, and Kasvi in the lead roles, ‘Chitti Potti’ is a film directed and produced by Bhaskar Yadav Dasari. This emotional family entertainer with a sister sentiment is set to release on October 3.

Dakshina 

Starring Tamil actress Sai Dhansika, ‘Dakshina’ is set to release on October 4. Directed by Osho TulasiRam, known for films like ‘Mantra’ and ‘Mangala’, this film has generated significant expectations. Sai Dhansika plays a police officer tasked with catching a serial killer.

Kali 

Another psychological thriller, ‘Kali’, featuring Prince and Naresh Agastya, is set to hit theaters this week. Directed by Shiva Sashu, this movie, also releasing on October 4, explores the consequences of an overly virtuous person’s life being disrupted by a stranger.

Bahirbhoomi 

Starring Noel and Rishita Nelluru in key roles, ‘Bahirbhoomi’ is produced by Macha Venu Madhav under Mahakaali Production banner and directed by Ram Prasad Kondooru. The film has completed its shooting and is ready for release on October 4. The trailer has already received positive responses.

35 Chinna Katha Kaadu

Starring prominent actress Nivetha Thomas, ‘35 Chinna Katha Kaadu‘ is an emotional comedy drama directed by Nanda Kishore Imani. With Priyadarshi, Vishwadev Rachakonda, and Gauthami playing important roles, the film released in theaters on September 6 to positive reviews and is set to entertain this weekend on OTT. Starting October 2, it will be available on Aha.

Blink 

A Kannada science fiction film ‘Blink‘, starring Deekshith Shetty of ‘Dasara’ fame, streamed on Amazon Prime in May. Recently, the Telugu version became available. From September 30, it will stream on Aha, offering a unique narrative on time travel.

Kalinga 

The latest film ‘Kalinga’, featuring Dhruva Vayu who also directed, stars Pragya Nayan as the heroine. Produced by Deepti Kondaveeti and Prithvi Yadav, this film blends horror elements with fantasy. Released in theaters on September 13, it received lukewarm responses and is now poised to enter OTT this week, available on Aha starting September 2.
