Following two blockbuster hits, the series continues with ‘Venom 3,’ which hit theaters worldwide on October 25 as ‘Venom: The Last Dance.’ Like always, Tom Hardy stars as the protagonist under the direction of Kelly Marcel. What’s the Story?

Picking up where ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ left off, the third part begins. After separating from Venom, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) becomes a most-wanted criminal. Meanwhile, Venom is also being hunted by beings from his own planet. Suddenly, both face a new threat. An element necessary for the release of Nal (Andy Serkis), a super villain imprisoned in another world, is unique with them. This provokes Nal’s army to chase them. To escape from Nal’s army, either Eddie or Venom must die, or they must forever be on the run. How did Eddie and Venom handle this? How did they confront Nal? That’s the story.

How Did They Perform?

Tom Hardy delivers a one-man show in ‘Venom 3.’ He fits perfectly into Eddie Brock’s role once again and manages to generate chemistry with an absent Venom, which is no small feat. Like in previous films, his comedic timing brings laughs, and he dazzles in the action sequences. His dynamic performance in the intense action scenes captivated the audience. Andy Serkis, as Nal, also grabs attention. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Peggy, Rhys Ifans, Cristo Fernandez, and Stephen Graham all do justice to their roles, fulfilling their characters’ demands effectively.

How’s the Direction?

Director Kelly Marcel has crafted ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ with thrilling action sequences similar to the first two parts. Starting with an intense fight action scene, the director maintains this intensity until the end. He impresses the audience with three solid action sequences, especially with the climax that holds viewers captive for 20 minutes. The battle involving Venom, other symbiotes, and the military against a formidable enemy is thrilling. However, the makers have already announced that this movie will be the last in the Venom series. Highlighting Eddie and Venom’s bond with an emotional finish would have been ideal. One scene just before the pre-climax does manage to be emotionally engaging. Overall, the movie will definitely entertain action lovers.

Technically

On the technical front, the VFX team has done a fantastic job, turning the film into a visual wonder. The background music is excellent. The editing is adequate, and the production values are high.
