Mahesh Babu and Dhoni collaborate on a movie?

After his mother Indra Devi’s untimely passing, superstar Mahesh Babu started working on the sets of his next movie SSMB28, which is helmed by  Trivikram Srinivas. Mahesh will work with acclaimed filmmaker Rajamouli on another large-scale pan-Indian film after this one. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a former Indian captain, is reportedly producing one of Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming films.

There are widespread rumours on the internet about Dhoni entering into the movie business. As per reports, he would soon establish a production business in Chennai as the main location. Dhoni, who has a close relationship with the people of Tamil Nadu, is allegedly going to produce a movie starring  Thalapathy Vijay in Tamil and with Mahesh Babu inTelugu. Although none of the parties made it official, the cricket and movie buffs are hyped a lot about these rumours.

In the film SSMB28, which is being directed by Trivikram and produced by Harika and Hassine Creations, Mahesh Babu will put on a hitherto unseen appearance. The lead actress in this movie is Pooja Hegde. SSMB28 is the third collaborative venture between Trivikram and Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. The movie is scheduled to release on April 28, 2023.
