This Week’s OTT &  Telugu Movie Releases (Dec 29th 2023)

While ‘Salaar’ continues to dominate the box office since its release last week, there seems to be no significant competition in theaters this week. Many filmmakers are planning to release their movies in January next year. Meanwhile, OTT platforms are gearing up for a big end to December, with over 25 movies set to stream. Let’s take a look at some of these releases.

Devil

Starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, ‘Devil’ is set to hit theaters on December 29. In this movie, Kalyan Ram plays alongside Samyuktha Menon and portrays a secret agent. Directed by Abhishek Varma, ‘Devil’ promises to be an exciting watch.

Dhruva Nakshatram

This film features Tamil star hero Chiyaan Vikram and is scheduled for release on December 29. Vikram plays an army officer tasked with combating terrorists. The movie, starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma as female leads, is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Mangalavaaram

The much-anticipated horror film ‘Mangalavaaram’, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, has finally arrived on OTT. Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from the midnight of December 25, the movie has garnered good talk for its theatrical release. Payal Rajput stars in this horror thriller that is sure to entertain.

Annapoorna

Starring lady superstar Nayanthara, the recent film ‘Annapoorna’ will be available for streaming from December 29 on OTT. Alongside Nayanthara, the movie features Jai, Sathyaraj, and KS Ravikumar in pivotal roles. Directed by Nikilesh Krishn, the film was initially released only in Tamil but will be available in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam on OTT platforms.
