It’s well known that superstar Mahesh Babu and directorial maestro Rajamouli are teaming up for ‘SSMB29’. This film, which is being made with world-class technicians, is set to release globally and will soon start its production phase. In this context, Rajamouli, who was visiting Japan, provided significant updates on this film. During his visit to Japan for the screening of ‘RRR’, Rajamouli spoke about his upcoming movie for the first time. Currently, a video related to this is going viral on the internet.
What Did Rajamouli Say?
The film ‘RRR’, directed by Rajamouli and starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR as the leads, has captured global attention and was recently released in Japan. Rajamouli attended the ‘RRR‘ screening in Japan, where he received a grand welcome. During the event, he spoke about his next project, SSMB 29. “The script work for the film with Mahesh Babu is completed. The pre-production is also moving swiftly. We have yet to finalize the cast, except for the hero. Mahesh Babu, the hero of this ambitious project, is very handsome, and many of you might already know him. We plan to finish the film as soon as possible and release it in Japan too, and I will bring Mahesh Babu here at that time,” Rajamouli remarked. Mahesh fans are extensively sharing his comments on social media.
Jenny Dies… But!
Rajamouli shared an interesting fact about ‘RRR’ during its screening in Japan. Olivia Morris played Jenny, who is paired with Bheem (Jr NTR) in the film. Rajamouli revealed that there were additional scenes with this pair that had to be cut due to length constraints. Initially, Jenny’s character was written to have a tragic end to aid Ram (Ram Charan) in escaping from jail, but fearing it would be too emotional, they decided to change it, allowing her character to survive. Rajamouli expressed his happiness over this ending being well-received. These comments are also going viral on the internet.
A Precious Gift for Rajamouli
Having gained popularity in Japan with ‘Baahubali 1’ and ‘Baahubali 2’, Rajamouli has made a special place in their hearts with ‘RRR’. An elderly fan from Japan, aged 83, presented Rajamouli with a unique gift. He shared on social media, “Japanese people give origami cranes to their loved ones as a symbol of luck and health. An 83-year-old woman brought us 1000 origami cranes as a blessing. She said ‘RRR’ brought her immense joy. She waited for us in the cold just to meet us. There’s not much we can offer in return for such affection.”
