This Week OTT & Telugu Movie Releases (28th & 29th March)

Like always, this week too, several films are ready to create a buzz in theaters, offering delightful entertainment to the audience. OTT platforms are not far behind, bringing interesting films to the viewers. Let’s take a look at the films and web series set for release this week.

Releases in Theaters

The Goat Life

Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran as the hero and Amala Paul as the heroine, the latest film ‘The Goat Life’ is a survival drama based on the novel ‘Aadujeevitham’ and is set to release on March 28. Directed by Blessy, the movie is adapted from the novel ‘Goat Days’. It tells the story of a young man from Kerala who goes to the Middle East for work, ends up as a slave, and how he escapes from there, depicting the challenges he faces.

Tillu Square

The film ‘Tillu Square‘, featuring Siddu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran as the lead pair, is the sequel to the blockbuster movie ‘DJ Tillu‘. Directed by Mallik Ram and produced jointly by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, this film has already completed its shooting and is scheduled to release on March 29. The songs and promotional materials released recently have heightened expectations for the film.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

Warner Bros is ready to offer another visual treat with the latest film ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’, directed by Adam Wingard. This movie, which presents the confrontation between Godzilla and Kong as they wreak havoc on the world, is set to release worldwide this week. The film, intriguing with its storyline, will be released in several Indian languages, including Telugu, on March 29.

Kaliyugam Pattanam Lo

Starring Vishwa Karthikeya and Ayushi Patel, the film ‘Kaliyugam Pattanam Lo’ is directed, written, and produced by Ramakanth Reddy. It is co-produced by Dr. Kandula Chandra Obul Reddy, G. Maheshwar Reddy, and Katam Ramesh. This film is also set to make its way to theaters on March 29.

Sundaram Master

Starring Viva Harsha in the lead role, the film ‘Sundaram Master‘ which made its box office debut in February, is now ready to entertain the audience on OTT. From February 28, this movie will be streaming on the popular Telugu OTT platform ‘Aha’.

Em Chesthunnav?

Starring Vijay Rajkumar and Neha Pathan, and directed by Bharath Mitra, the film ‘Em Chesthunnav?’ is a youthful family entertainer that was released on August 25 last year. Now, it’s set to come before the audience and will be available on ETV Win from March 28.

True Lover

Actor K. Manikandan, known for his roles in ‘Jai Bhim’ and ‘Good Night‘, stars in the recently released Telugu film ‘True Lover‘. The film, featuring Gouri Priya as the heroine and directed by Prabhu Ram, received positive reviews. ‘True Lover’ will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from March 27.
