The FIR lodged against the young actor attracted media attention due to its sensational allegations. Raj Tarun responded by disclosing details of his past interactions with Lavanya. The case, already the subject of widespread discussion, took an unexpected turn on Saturday (July 6) when the police issued notices to Lavanya, the accuser.
Why the Notices?
Lavanya, the ex-girlfriend of hero Raj Tarun, lodged a complaint at the Narsingi Police Station on Friday (July 5), claiming they had been in a relationship for 11 years. She accused him of neglecting her due to his infatuation with actress Malvika Malhotra. In the complaint, she also mentioned that Malvika and her relatives were threatening her. Raj Tarun denied these claims, stating there was no truth to them, leading the police to deliver an unexpected shock to Lavanya. They issued notices under section 91 CRPC, requiring her to submit evidence related to her complaint against Raj Tarun. As of now, Lavanya has not responded, and the case will progress based on the evidence she provides.

In the complaint submitted to the Narsingi police on Friday, Lavanya made further accusations, stating that she and Raj Tarun had been in a relationship since 2012. She claimed that he started a relationship with Malvika Malhotra during the shooting of the movie ‘Thiragabadara Saami’. When confronted, Raj Tarun allegedly abused her verbally. She also claimed she was wrongfully implicated in a drug case unrelated to her, resulting in her spending 43 days in jail. The Narsingi police confirmed on Thursday that they are investigating these allegations. Given the serious nature of the accusations against the star celebrity, they sent notices to Lavanya for evidence today.

Actor Raj Tarun responded to Lavanya’s complaint on Friday itself (July 5), making significant remarks in an interview with a channel. “I met her during my short film days. She was a good girl and helped me when I first came to Hyderabad. Our relationship was indeed real. We were together from 2014 to 2017. After that, there was no relationship between us. I couldn’t bear seeing her circle of friends and her drug use. I wanted to leave, but she threatened to go to the media. I’ve been enduring this to avoid damaging my reputation. She’s accusing me of being the reason for the drug case filed against her,” Raj Tarun vehemently stated.
“She Threatened her Father Too”
Raj Tarun made dramatic allegations against his ex-girlfriend Lavanya. He asserted that during their relationship, she was simultaneously involved with another young man. “She maintained a relationship with another man who, according to her, subjected her to daily abuse, and she even filed a case against him. She and her boyfriend stayed at my house, forcing me to leave. She also blackmailed her father,” Raj Tarun claimed. He further stated that his commitment to remaining unmarried is well-known within the industry, a fact Lavanya is also aware of. He continued, “She accuses me of living together with an actress from Mumbai. I reside in Hyderabad, and she lives in Mumbai; how could we possibly live together? She’s orchestrating all this because she fears I might send her away from my house.”
