Starring Ranbir Kapoor as the lead actor and directed by Sandeep Reddy, known for his work in ‘Arjun Reddy’, the action drama ‘Animal‘ is set to stream on OTT platforms from tomorrow (January 26th). The film will be available on the popular OTT platform Netflix.
Netflix announced the streaming of ‘Animal’ with an engaging video on Twitter (X), which is now going viral under the hashtag #AnimalOnNetflix.
Netflix captioned the video with “The air is thick… the temperature is rising.” They clarified that ‘Animal’ (Animal Movie OTT Release) will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages starting January 26th.
Since its theatrical release on December 1st, the movie ‘Animal’ #AnimalOnNetflix has achieved tremendous success at the box office and captivated a large young audience. The film grossed over Rs. 900 crores worldwide.
For those who have already seen ‘Animal’ in theaters, the OTT version promises an additional surprise with nearly 8 minutes of extra footage. This version will include scenes not shown in theaters.
The run time of the ‘Animal’ movie is 3 hours and 21 minutes, and for OTT, it has been extended to nearly three and a half hours, including additional scenes, sparking interest about what these scenes might entail.
Following the success of ‘Animal’, which provided a feast for action movie enthusiasts (#AnimalOnNetflix), a sequel is in the works under the title ‘Animal Park’. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has already announced this project.
Produced by the leading Hindi production company T-Series, ‘Animal’ was released worldwide in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on December 1st. The film received an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board.
This is director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second film in Bollywood, following his previous work on ‘Arjun Reddy’, which was remade in Hindi as ‘Kabir Singh’. In ‘Animal’, Ranbir Kapoor is paired with Rashmika Mandanna, with key roles played by Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, and others.
