We are all aware that on September 25 the popular hit movie “Chennakesava Reddy” will be re-released in theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Bellamkonda Suresh, the producer, and VV Vinayak, the director, have officially announced this.
Pokiri, Jalsa, Okkadu, and Thammudu are just a few of the recently re-released movies that have reignited the excitement at the theaters. The movies have had great success and have broken various records. On the occasion of his birthday, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Gharanamogudu was also rereleased. Balakrishna’s iconic film is also following the re-release trend. According to producer Bellamkonda Suresh, the Basavatarakam trust would receive 75% of the proceeds from this release.
This weekend’s re-release of Chennakesava Reddy, starring Balayya, had strong bookings and has already made over $23K from 33 theaters in the USA. This is astounding, and if the outrage persists, the movie will outperform Jalsa, which was rereleased on September 2, 2022, in terms of box office receipts.
