The director of “Macherla Niyojakavargam,” MS Raja Shekhar Reddy, has courted controversy for his three-year-old tweet that made disparaging remarks against certain caste groups.
MS Raja Shekhar Reddy, a fervent supporter of YS Jagan and his party, insulted the Kamma and Kapu caste groups in his old tweet, setting off a troll war on Twitter. He is being attacked because of his previous comments.
However, MS Raja Shekhar Reddy asserted that it was a fake image that had been spread online to malign him and his movie. On Twitter today, he and Hero Nithiin addressed the issue. The director posted on Twitter, “In my name, certain people have modified an old tweet of mine and promoted hatred. Please do not believe this because it is a total fabrication.” He also added that “I am a self-proclaimed fan of the YSRCP party. I just expressed my support during the election results but I didn’t tend to hurt any caste group.”
The director is being negatively trolled on Twitter. Will “Macherla Niyojakavargam” business be impacted by these derogatory remarks? Let’s wait and watch.
“Macherla Niyojakavargam” starrs Nithiin and Kriti Shetty in lead roles. The project is helmed by MS Raja Shekhar Reddy and bankrolled by Sudhakar Reddy under Sreshth Movies banner in association with Aditya Movies. The flick is all set to hit the theaters on 12th of August.
