At the teaser launch event for the film, a reporter asked her about her favorite team in the ongoing IPL, to which she responded, “I have never watched an IPL match in a stadium, only CCL matches. I’ll pick a favorite once I watch the IPL.” When reminded by the reporter that the Sunrisers Hyderabad team represents the Telugu states, she playfully replied, “We’re from Andhra. There’s no team specifically from Andhra.”

Sunrisers Hyderabad fans were especially critical, accusing her of failing to recognize Hyderabad as the capital of Telangana. They questioned her support base, asking whether only viewers from Andhra watch her movies, while those from Telangana do not. She explained, “When asked about my favorite IPL team, I responded that I would decide after watching the matches. I also mentioned that it would be nice if Andhra had its own team, considering I’m from there. Editing videos to suit trending content is common. In this film, directed by Shiva Paladugu and produced by Harsha Garapati under the Fly High banner, Ajay Ghosh stars in the lead role.
