  • Chiranjeevi-Garikapati brawl turning into a caste issue

The controversial occurrence at the ‘Alai Balai’ event in Hyderabad has sparked a fiery discussion among Telugu Twitter users.

Garikapati Narasimha Rao and megastar Chiranjeevi both attended the cultural event “Alai Balai” in Hyderabad. The audience erupted when Chiranjeevi appeared. Several fans gathered around Chiru for photos. Chiru accommodated his followers’ in a gentle manner. While Chiranjeevi was present, the crowd diverged from Garikapati Narasimha Rao’s speech, which enraged him. Garikapati advised Chiranjeevi to quit taking selfies since they were interrupting his speech. Furthermore, he allegedly threatened to leave the gathering if Chiranjeevi did not finish his selfie shoots.

Chiranjeevi understood the situation and took it easy on Garipati’s remarks, stopping the photo shoot and having a friendly discussion with him afterwards.

Mega Family fans, on the other hand, found Garikapati’s words disrespectful. Chiru fans launched a troll campaign against Garikapati on Twitter. Chiranjeevi’s brother Naga Babu’s scathing comments towards Garikapati have only fueled the fire. In a tweet, Naga Babu responded to Garikapati’s opinions by citing.

“Anyone can be envious of Chiranjeevi’s fame.”

This Twitter debate took a ugly turn into a caste conflict, with Kapus supporting Chiranjeevi & family and Brahmins supporting Garikapati Narasimha Rao.

    Let’s have a look into the tweets…
