The eagerly anticipated Chiyaan Vikram’s new movie “Cobra” starring will release on August 31. Fans of Vikram from all over the nation are anxiously awaiting this movie. The teaser which was released yesterday has been receiving massive response. Srinidhi Shetty is playing the female lead in this film. “Cobra” is directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu. This movie is being distributed in Tamil Nadu by Udayanithi Satlin.
The promotions have been launched by Vikram and his “Cobra” team. There will be a trip to south India as part of the promotional effort. The first event took place at a college in Trichy. The “Cobra” actors were greeted warmly by the throngs of onlookers who came to see them. However, the stampede resulted in injuries for some fans. Police were unable to control the large throng and lati charged some students, injuring some of the supporters. Vikram apologised for the unfortunate incident to his fans.
Chiyaan Vikram took to Twitter to apologize to the fans and wrote, “My heart is full of gratitude to my fans who came to Trichy today for the Cobra movie preview event and showered me with love beyond words. Meanwhile, it has come to my notice that some undesirable situation has arisen and I would like to record my regret for such an occurrence and inconvenience. What penance have I done to get here.”
Vikram and his team will travel to Coimbatore today as part of a promotional schedule. The actor next plans to head to Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad in the coming days ahead of the film release. The trailer of “Cobra” will be out on August 25.
