Versatile actor Vikram is set to amuse us with his new action thriller flick, “Cobra.” The flick is directed by talented filmmaker R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and is scheduled for release on August 31st. Vikram’s last theatrical release was Kadaram Kondan (2019). Since then, he appeared in the Amazon film “Mahaan” with his son Dhruv.
Vikram enjoys a massive following in the south Indian states. The actor and his “Cobra” team have started the promotions for the film. The makers of “Cobra” are planning a big release across all the southern Indian states. The movie team has landed in Trichy for the promotions. Vikram will be in Hyderabad on 28th August to promote his film in the Telugu language.
The audience has responded favourably to “Cobra’s” already-released early glances and music. The first teaser of ‘Cobra’ will be out today at 5 PM and on August 25th, the movie’s trailer is anticipated to be released. With this movie, KGF actress Srinidhi Shetty makes her Tamil film debut. Cricketer Irfan Phatan is making his feature debut with this film.
On the other hand, Vikram is also gearing up for the release of Ponniyin Selvan alongside a star-studded cast. He has also confirmed that he will work with Ajay Gnanamuthu once again after completing an untitled film with Pa Ranjith.
“Cobra” is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by S.S. Lalit Kumar. The original score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman, with cinematography handled by Harish Kannan and edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
