In 2021, the 28-year-old joined the Congress party. He ran for the Mansa constituency as an MLA but lost.

‘The Last Ride,’ Sidhu’s most recent single, was released a month ago. Sidhu sings about his legacy and the name he would be remembered by after he dies; he even wrote a line about dying as a king at a young age. While the other two were being treated, Sidhu was laid to rest at the hospital. The police claimed that Sidhu’s murder was a result of his rivalry with a mob called ‘Lawrence Bishnoi Group.’
