During the Diwali festival, Tollywood’s box office was buzzing with several film releases that captivated audiences. Notably, ‘Lucky Baskhar’, ‘KA’, and ‘Amaran’ not only received positive acclaim but also achieved impressive box office collections. These three films garnered solid collections on their opening day and saw a significant increase over the weekend. Let’s take a look at how much each movie earned in the first four days.
Lucky Baskhar Weekend Collections
Directed by Venky Atluri and starring Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, ‘Lucky Baskhar‘ has been stirring up a storm at the box office. Released on Thursday, October 31 as a Diwali gift, the movie collected over Rs. 50 crores in its first four days. By the end of the weekend, it grossed Rs. 55.4 crores, as officially announced by the makers. This includes a special poster featuring the hero, the director, and producer Naga Vamshi. According to trade analysts, the film collected Rs. 19.10 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. In Kerala, it grossed Rs. 8.75 crores, in Karnataka Rs. 2.65 crores, in Tamil Nadu Rs. 3.40 crores, in the rest of India Rs. 95 lakhs, and overseas it earned Rs. 13.40 crores.
KA Weekend Collections
Kiran Abbavaram’s latest movie ‘KA‘, released on October 31, has secured a massive victory. It received positive reviews right from the first show. Over the weekend, the collections reportedly increased significantly. In the first four days alone, the movie grossed over Rs. 26.52 crores, as officially stated by the makers, who also released a special poster. Industry insiders have noted that ‘KA’ managed to break even within the first three days and all earnings hereafter are pure profit, with daily collections continuing to rise.
Amaran
The pan-India film ‘Amaran‘, featuring the combination of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, has been sensational across the nation. Released on October 31, the film exploded at the box office. In the first four days alone, it grossed Rs. 136 crores worldwide. Specifically, in Tamil Nadu, it collected Rs. 65.05 crores, in the Telugu states Rs. 15.45 crores, in Karnataka Rs. 8.05 crores, in Kerala Rs. 4.45 crores, in the rest of India Rs. 1.15 crores, and a whopping Rs. 41.85 crores overseas. Trade analysts predict that the collections are likely to increase in the coming days. Currently, ‘Amaran’ is the only film among the Diwali releases to join the Rs. 100 crore club.
