Versatile actor/comedian Gadde Rajendra Prasad celebrates his birthday today. Rajendra Prasad was born to Gadde Venkata Narayana and Manikyamba on 19 July 1958 in Nimmakuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh.
Rajendra Prasad was a graduate in ceramic engineering, but due to his interest in films he left his job and started working in films as per his mentor NTR’s suggestion. He made his debut into films with ‘Sneham’ movie in 1977. He established himself as a leading actor with super hit films like ‘Pelli Choopulu’, ‘Ladies Tailor’ and ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’. He received widespread acclaim for ‘Aa Naluguru’ and ‘Mee Sheyobhilashi’ movies. He also did an English language film called ‘Quick Gun Murugun.’
Rajendra Prasad was referred to as “Nata Kireeti” by the Telugu audience. The actor won multiple awards throughout the course of a four-decade career. The list covers the A.P. State Nandi Awards, SIIMA, and Santosham Film Awards.
He most recently made an appearance in F3, and “Anukoni Prayanam,” his next movie, is now under production.
