Nikhil Siddhartha’s much awaited film ‘Karthikeya-2’ is officially postponed. The official announcement was made by the lead actor, Nikhil Siddhartha.
‘Karthikeya-2’ is the follow-up sequel to the 2014 film ‘Karthikeya’. The sequel making has been delayed due to the COVID pandemic and other unknown reasons, but recently the makers have released the first glimpses of the film along with the official release date, which is scheduled for July 22. But, according to insider reports, Dil Raju asked Nikhil and his director Chandoo Mondeti to move up the release date of “Karthikeya-2” by a week in order to avoid conflict between his movie “Thank You” and Nikhil’s “Karthikeya-2.” Dil Raju’s plea was granted by Chandoo Mondeti and Nikhil, who also altered the “Karthikeya-2” release date.
“Karthikeya-2” would be released in the first week of August, according to Nikhil’s official announcement. The first week of August is also unclear because three films Kalyan Ram’s “Bimbasura,” Dulquer Salman’s “Sitaramam,” and Satya Dev’s “Gurthunda Seethakaalam”—have reserved their slots for the first week of August release. Let’s wait and see how things work for ‘Karthikeya-2’
“Kartikeya 2” starrs Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran, and Vennela Kishore in the lead roles. The theatrical trailer of “Karthikeya 2” received so many positive reviews, as the audience awaited the release of this mystery-based movie.
