By launching quality phones within a modest budget, Itel mobiles have piqued the interest of tech enthusiasts. In this progression, it has recently released a brand-new entry-level phone in the Indian market. The Itel P55T was introduced yesterday (February 28) as the world’s first smartphone to come with Android 14 (Go Edition). However, the Tecno Spark 20C was launched in the same price range recently. This mobile also has 128GB of storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card. On the other hand, the Tecno Spark 20C device was launched with 8GB of RAM, supporting up to 8GB of virtual RAM. This allows users to enjoy up to 16GB of RAM power. The phone comes with 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a memory card.

This phone has made its debut in India with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary camera and an AI secondary lens, along with one LED Flash. For selfies and video calls, an 8MP front camera is provided. The company states that the mobile can be charged quickly and offers a battery life of up to 145 days on typical usage. It also features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. On the other hand, the Tecno Spark 20C comes with a 5,000mAh battery, also supporting 18W fast charging. The company claims that this phone can charge up to 50% in just 50 minutes and promises a long battery life. In terms of battery, the Itel P55T seems to be the better choice.
Connectivity Features
This mobile supports only 4G networks. It includes connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and also provides an e-compass, gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Similarly, the Tecno Spark 20C mobile does not support 5G networks but comes with dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and additional features like an IPX2 rating, dual DTS stereo speakers, and HyperEngine 2.0.

The Itel P55T is available in three colors: Brilliant Gold, Aurora Blue, and Astral Black. The Tecno Spark 20C mobile comes in four color variants: Alpenglow Gold, Mystery White, Gravity Black, and Magic Skin. In terms of color options, the Tecno mobile is more appealing.

The price of the Itel P55T mobile (4GB RAM + 128GB) has been set by the company at Rs. 8,199 and is available for sale on the major e-commerce giant Flipkart, with various bank offers also available. The Tecno Spark 20C mobile was launched in the Indian market two days ago, with sales starting from March 5 at 12 PM. The company has priced this mobile (8GB RAM +128GB ROM) at Rs. 8,999 and announced a discount of Rs. 1,000 under the launch offer, making this handset available at Rs. 7,999. This phone can be purchased on the leading e-commerce giant Amazon.
Which is the Better Purchase?
When looking at the budget and features, both phones are quite comparable. However, considering the OS and processor, the newly released Itel P55T appears to be a better option compared to the Tecno Spark 20C, especially with its greater battery capacity.
