Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Sammathame’ and Akash Puri’s ‘Chor Bazaar’ first 3 days collections. Who is the winner?

Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Sammathame’ and Akash Puri’s ‘Chor Bazaar’ films were released last Friday to mixed reviews. As there are no major releases this weekend apart from these two projects, the trade analysts are predicting that these projects might surpass the breakeven mark.

However, the scenario looks tough for Chor Bazaar as people are showing their love for Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Sammathame’. Let’s look at how both of these movies did at the box office in their first three days.

Breakeven 

‘Sammathame’ theatrical rights were sold for 5 crores.

‘Chor Bazaar’  theatrical rights were sold for 4 crores.

‘Sammathame’ 3 day box office collections

Kiran abbavaram feel good love story started very slowly at the box office but picked up very well on Saturday and Sunday.

This film is expected to do 0.4 crore of business on Monday. Till now, ‘Sammathame’ has collected 2.57 crores. It has to make another 2.5 crores to be called a hit. . 

‘Chor Bazaar’ 3 day box office collections

Akash Puri’s Chor Bazaar failed to impress the audience; the movie is heading towards losses. Chor Bazaar lost its hold on Saturday and Sunday drastically.

This movie might bring in another 0.20 crores on Monday, but it won’t be enough to salvage it. The film has grossed 1.60 crores so far, but it has to earn 2.50 crores more to be considered a profitable venture, which will be challenging for this movie.
