Kumari Aunty’s Stall Will Stay: CM
Amid comments that Kumari Aunty (#KumariAunty) was wronged by the police action, CM Revanth Reddy responded by standing in support of her. He made it clear that there was no need to remove Kumari’s food stall and instructed the officials to revoke the decision to move her food stall. He also directed the DGP to reconsider the case filed against Kumari, suggesting that the officials from the MAUD should allow her to continue her business at the same location where she had her stall before. The CM, stating that the government supports common people in governance, announced he would visit her stall soon. A tweet from the CMO by government CPR officer Ayodhya Reddy confirmed this.
Closure of Kumari Aunty’s Food Stall…
YCP vs TDP
Ever since the news about the removal of Kumari Aunty (#KumariAunty) food stall broke out, netizens started posting in support of her. This led to a major battle on Twitter between YCP and TDP (YCP vs TDP) in AP politics. The argument that Kumari Aunty, originally from AP and living in a house provided by Jagan, led to the conflict between the two parties. YCP accused Revanth, a disciple of Chandrababu and CM of Telangana, of registering a case against Kumari Aunty out of spite, which TDP leaders countered.
Is That Why Revanth Reddy Agreed?
Thus, the issue became a hot topic in AP politics and on social media. TDP leaders trended on social media that they had informed CM Revanth to close down Kumari Aunty’s shop intentionally. Meanwhile, criticisms against the Telangana government also surged on social media, with Hyderabad’s public standing in support of her. They condemned the government’s actions against small traders. Many netizens tagged Revanth Reddy, bringing up instances that wouldn’t have happened during KTR’s time. CM Revanth Reddy’s intervention seemed to have stood by Kumari Aunty, understanding the issue.
