Summer festivities are here, and this week, some big movies are making a splash. Mani Ratnam and Akkineni Akhil are competing at the box office. Agent

Akhil Akkineni and Sakshi Vaidya are starring in the movie “Agent,” which is set to release on April 28. The film’s crew is already busy with promotions. Directed by Surender Reddy and featuring music by Hiphop Tamizha, the film is produced under AK Entertainments. Expectations are high for this action-packed film.

Ponniyin Selvan 2

Ponniyin Selvan 2 promises to answer the many lingering questions from the first installment. Directed by Mani Ratnam, this movie is also set to release on April 28, competing with Akhil’s Agent at the box office. Starring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, and Trisha in lead roles, the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. Many are eagerly awaiting Part 2.

Raa Raa Penimiti

Nandita Swetha appears in a single character in the movie “Rara… Penimiti.” Directed by Satya Venkat Geddam and featuring music by Mani Sharma, the film is also set to release on April 28. The story revolves around a newly married girl who longs for her husband and the pain of separation. Though only one character is visible on-screen, many more characters will be heard in the film.

Sisu: A Historical Action Thriller

The Hollywood movie “Sisu” is coming as a historical action thriller. Directed by Jalmary Helender, it stars Jorma Tommila, Axel Hennie, and June Doolan in the lead roles. The movie will be released on April 28th, in English as well as Hindi.

Dasara

Nani stars in the mass periodical film “Dussehra,” which was released on March 30th and became a blockbuster. This movie, which joined the 100 crore club, is now set to entertain audiences on OTT platforms. It started streaming yesterday at midnight.

Citadel

The American spy thriller web series “Citadel” is coming in Telugu. Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, the series will be streaming on Amazon Prime starting April 28th. Initially, the first two episodes will be released, followed by one episode every week. It is already known that Varun Dhawan and Samantha are part of the Hindi version of the series.

Vyavastha

Zee5 is launching a new web series on its platform starting April 28th. Set against the backdrop of the judicial system, the series is directed by Anand Rang. Keraf Kancherapalem, Kartik Ratnam, who gained recognition with Narappa, Hebah Patel, and Sampath are starring in the main roles.
