Increasing Popularity!
According to the Multiplex Association of India, the occupancy in cinemas is growing, currently at about 75%. MAI, which has about 5,000 multiplex screens across 11 organizations nationwide, is trying to attract more viewers to theaters amidst increasing popularity of OTT platforms, which have been affecting theater and multiplex visits. Thus, MAI is rolling out such offers to draw audiences.
