    Poonam Kaur is a model and actress who won the Miss Andhra title in 2005 after completing a course in fashion design. She debuted as the lead actress in the movie ‘Mayajalam’ opposite Srikanth, directed by SV Krishna Reddy, and later impressed in supporting roles. She has won two Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her performances in the movies Shaurya and Gaganam.

In addition, Poonam also made sensational comments about a film director in the industry, tagging him as “Guruji” and alleging that he was spreading false news about her, to prevent her from getting opportunities in the industry.
