  • Prabhas Backs Off from Hindi Dubbing for “Adipurush”?

Pan-India darling Prabhas is one of the biggest names in Indian cinema. In contemporary cinema, Prabhas arguably has the biggest fan base of any movie star. After the Baahubali series, this actor is troubled by the lack of a success that fits his caliber. With “Saaho” and “Radhye Shyam,” Prabhas experienced failure after “Baahubali: The Conclusion”. He now desperately needs a huge hit to preserve his fan base.

In the Hindi versions of “Saaho” and “Radhye Shyam,” the actor dubbed himself. The audience of north Indians did not like his Hindi. Many rebuked him for the Hindi dubbing’s pronounced faults. Om Raut, who would be directing Prabhas’ upcoming film “Adipurush,” is a native Hindi filmmaker. The Indian epic Ramayana is the basis for the upcoming movie “Adipurush.”  In this movie, Prabhas portrays Lord Rama.  According to recent rumours, Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar, would voice Prabhas in the Hindi version. The Hindi dubbing for Prabhas in “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “Baahubali: The Conclusion” was done by Sharad Kelkar.  He is also well known to the Telugu audience for his villain roles in many Telugu movies.

‘Adipurush’ will be released in theaters on January 12. In this mythological drama, Kriti Sanon is playing the female lead and Saif Ali Khan is playing the antagonist.

On the work front, Prabhas has Prashanth Neel’s “Salaar” and Nag Ashwin’s “Project K” in his pipeline. He also signed a film with director Maruthi recently.
