Story
Chetan (played by Nara Rohit) embodies integrity as a journalist. Operating as a freelance reporter, he fearlessly unveils the truth, ultimately ascending to the position of CEO at NCC Channel. From this vantage point, Chetan embarks on a mission to uncover the misdeeds of political figures. However, amidst his crusade, an assassination attempt targets CM Prajapathi (portrayed by Sachin Khedekar). Who stands behind this sinister plot? And what revelations surface through the ensuing CBI investigation? Performance Review
Nara Rohit shines in his portrayal of journalist Chetan, adeptly conveying emotional depth and commanding the action sequences. His performance stands out as a highlight in the initial half of the film. Siri Lella, though with a restricted role, captivates viewers’ interest in the latter part. Sachin Khedekar leaves an indelible impression with his portrayal of the CM. Additionally, commendable performances are delivered by Dinesh Tej, Jisshu Sengupta, Ajay Ghosh, Prudhvi Raj, and Udaya Bhanu, collectively enhancing the cinematic experience.
Direction Review
Director Murthy adeptly shapes the film into a commercial political drama, offering a unique perspective on journalism and political structures. The opening sequences skillfully establish the protagonist’s integrity and the noble essence of journalism. The initial half portrays the hero wielding a pen, while in the latter half, he transitions to wielding a sword, leading to pivotal plot turns. The director’s depiction of the significance of a vote resonates powerfully, yet certain political scenes may verge on excessive dramatization. Additionally, the familial backdrop of the hero in the latter half may seem somewhat conventional, and the portrayal of the CBI appears overly simplistic.
Technical Aspects
Technically, the film is well-crafted. Nani Chamidishetty’s cinematography and Mahati Swara Sagar’s background score are strengths. The editor could have been more stringent, especially in the second half. The production values are appropriate for the film’s scale.
