Director Puri Jagannadh and his business partner Charmee Kaur have begun paying out compensation to “Liger” buyers. The Vijay Deverakonda-starring movie fell short of the lofty expectations that had been placed on it, and its buyers suffered significant losses as a result. According to reports, Puri and Charmee pledged to make up for the buyers’ losses.
Puri Jagannadh’s production business, Puri Connects, has reportedly agreed to pay back 6 crore to Andhra buyers, 4.5 crore to Nizam buyers, and 2.25 crores to Ceeded buyers, including the GST, according to our sources. It’s a really good gesture on the part of Puri and his team, but we’ll have to wait and see how this brilliant director bounces back.
Due to poor box office results of ‘Liger’ Vijay and Puri’s second film, Jana Gana Mana, has been put on hold. The actor is currently shooting for Kushi along with Samantha.
